He replied to our initial inquiry for an estimate within a few hours, and scheduled a walk through the next day. When he walked into our apartment, he immediately started sharing his thoughts on the approach he would take. No detail was left undiscussed and it was a very thoughtful assessment with an honest and competitive estimate. He was clearly passionate about the project and he made us feel very comfortable from the beginning to the end of the process, which was a little over a week including the estimate and scheduling three days for prep work, painting and clean up. We met him on the final day of the project and he walked us through our apartment pointing out all the details, it looked great. He even pointed out a non painting related item he noticed and recommended that we should address to keep the apartment free of potential future damage, further indicating to us that he truly cares about helping his customers make their homes beautiful and keeping them safe. We appreciated Will's professional approach and confidently recommend him his team!

Overall disappointing. Will is a nice person and good salesman. Final work product was decent…read more Multiple corners cut including not painting the top of doors that are out of view. Do not be deceived by Will's insistence that he is extremely detail oriented. He does not follow through on half of what you discuss. More importantly, he does not keep his word. He recommended and integrated an unaffiliated flooring company that completely botched their job and literally left bubbles on our floor. After assuring me he was on our side and would help pursue a refund, he went completely dark, just like the flooring company. He also was a no show on his follow up "touch up day" and went radio silent thereafter. He did a FANTASTIC job painting our kitchen cabinets, as well as our walls, trim, and doors. Our home looks brand new. He also had excellent recommendations for countertops and backsplash. Carlos Munoz, owner of The Paint Company, has completed many indoor and outdoor painting projects…read morefor us over the last 17 years. The latest project, in preparation to sell our house within the next year, involved removing wallpaper; a lot of patching from old leaks, stains, damages, and nail holes; repainting many "colorful" rooms; and, most importantly, repainting all our built-in kitchen and family room cabinets and drawer fronts. This was time consuming, meticulous and very detailed work, especially since the original paint finish was lacquer (much more difficult to paint over). We remained in the house during this 2 week process which I'm sure would have been easier for him if we'd vacated the space. He and his crew did an amazing job on every level. They worked as quickly as possible without compromising quality, they protected all interior cabinet contents from dust and paint drips, they made access to certain areas relatively convenient (microwave, sink, fridge, etc.). They even worked on Saturdays, began at 7am on some mornings and also on the morning of July 4 so they we could get our kitchen back sooner rather than later. They cleaned as much as they could and put all their gear and supplies neatly out of our way at the end of each day. Carlos is very diligent about communicating so we're all on the same page about colors, finishes, schedules, etc., so there were no surprises or re-do's! They were also very tolerant of our dogs - the little one who thinks he's a tough guy and had to let them know it every morning, and the sweet one who sat and stared at them relentlessly as they tried to eat their lunch in peace! They even let the dogs in and outside if I wasn't home. Please consider hiring Carlos for your next painting project, large or small. He is honest, hard-working and produces high quality results. You won't be disappointed.
