We love Tikka Taproom!! Everything we have ever eaten here has been phenomenal. I've meant to grab photos each time but we always are so eager to dig in that I can't get my camera out fast enough. The plant life bowl is FANTASTIC. My absolute favorite dish here. And it's HUGE - could honestly feed 3 people. The leftovers make lots of lunches for me. We also love the tikka masala and the signature curry. We LOVE the flavors of the papadam but always eat it too fast to get a photo. Service is always fast and friendly! It has been nearly empty every time we have been which makes us so sad - we love Tikka taproom and hope it stays around for a long time. My family ordered take out from Tikka on a random Wednesday night. Our order was hot and ready within 25 minutes. We ordered the butter chicken, tikka masala, and paneer makhani with an order of plain naan and an order or potato naan. I appreciated that rice comes with the order. Too many places are now charging extra for rice. All of the entrees were delicious. I wish that I could leave 4.5 stars. The only reason I'm giving only 4 stars is because the naan wasn't great. Ours was limp and slightly burnt. Everything else was top notch though. We definitely plan to go back again. read more

The food here is amazing! Everything was flavorful and delicious. I had the tomato shorba soup to start, it was rich and tasty. For my entree I had the Meat Me Plate. It included steak over rice covered in a great tasting curry. There were also a few pieces of tandoori chicken which was cooked perfectly. To the side there were some veggies and garlic naan. The naan was hot and tasted great. My companion had the paneer tikka masala with garlic naan and enjoyed both. There were several items on the menu that sounded great, I can't wait to go back. O M G! The food here is AMAZING! Exactly what i was looking for in Indian food! So flavorful! The Pizza sign out front threw me off a little. Our second visit, we were there once on opening day and wanted to try again. Place is kinda cute table cloths and 4 tops. We went early 4p and saw some carryout but no diners. They had a selection of cocktails on a blackboard but we had a hard time determining what the ingredients were. We had a mojito and a margaritta both had some extra ingredients and were good Next we had momo basically a deep fried chicken dumpling, was tasty. Next we had the lamb shiskabob and that was spicy and yummy. We asked for rareish was a little more than that but not dry. Lastly we had the chicken Tikka pizza, was not that good. Cheesy but bland, seemed like frozen pizza crust. My wife went to the restroom and said it was in bad shape cleanliness wise, did not notice in the mens. Having to adjust my review after tonight's visit unfortunately. I really enjoy this place and want them to be successful in the community, but sometimes the service is not as pleasant as I'd like it to be. I've visited here quite a few times and have over looked the subpar service as they have always been kind and I love the food. We visited tonight and it was not very busy, 2 other tables filled when we arrived and left. We ordered our food and drinks and everything was ok. As the appetizer came out, we noticed that it said on the menu it came with 3 samosas but we were only served 2. They were large, but I would appreciate the menu to match what we are served. As we received our main meal everything was good and tasted fresh. Although, as we ate we were never checked on again. We ran out of water, but had no luck with refills, didn't check if we needed anything or if we were satisfied with the food. We didn't see our server again until after our meal was complete. He was kind but it was not too accommodating unfortunately. When we were done we asked for boxes and the check was brought out. There was no itemized receipt so we really don't know what we paid for. It was solely the total and tip options. We paid and did not receive a receipt as we left. Tonight's experience sadly left a bad taste in my mouth and I am not sure how to feel about it moving forward. Visited for the first time today. We were greeted warmly and promptly served. Mango lassis and traditional samosas were not in the printed menu we were offered, but when we asked, they very pleasantly told us that both were available. The mango lassi was delicious, as was the samosas, which were crispy, hot and served with two yummy sauces. We also ordered butter chicken and saag paneer, which came with rice. Both dishes were outstanding! The chicken was so tender and both sauces had just the right amount of spice and heat. We contemplated ordering dessert, but wanted to try the tandoori chicken, so we placed an order to go. Can't wait to dig in to that dish later tonight. The portions were also good--enough for two people to share, with leftovers! Great service all around as well. Checked on us to replenish drinks, etc. Ambiance is ok. So many families enjoying a sit down dinner when I came to pick up our food. We had guests from India and they were blown away by how tasty the chicken malai tikka was !!! They loved the chicken tikka masala as well! We wanted to try this because the reviews looked good. There were two tables being served and we were the third. There's one person working the register, taking orders and serving tables. Several customers walked in for pick up orders. They appeared to wait 20-30 minutes for orders they placed prior to coming in. How do I know? Because we waited over 45 minutes for our food and watched people come and go. Disappointed faces were seen on the patrons. Our water was never refilled and no one was around to even do so. The food was just okay. Not worth the wait and unfriendly staff. I want local businesses to do well. I hope the owners resolve whatever issues they're facing. LOVED it! Went here with friends on Valentine's Day, (but I hear 2 hours after we left they launched their new menu??). We all had the lunch buffet, the chicken curry was tasty but a bit dry, butter chicken on the other hand was melt in your mouth delicious. Somosa Chaat was really good, both the chutney and tamarind sauces really made these stand out. There was a lentil dish I really liked too, I'm glad we did the buffet to try a variety of dishes. There are a couple of beers on tap. They were nice. I had a cocktail (Indian summer?) which was interesting but not a winner.. For appetizers, we had the vada pav and samosa chat which were tasty. They were out of the empanadas we wanted to try. The Brussels sprouts was good and the desi nachos was a new take. The cauliflower tempura was tasty. For entrees, we had a paneer dish and a couple of biryanis, but high were also tasty. Overall, the food was tasty... the sauces were good... though we got the same sauce on 3 of our items while we expected them to be different.
