A buffet station displays two stainless steel containers, one filled with saffron rice and the other with a creamy dish garnished with saffron strands. The containers are covered with a clear plastic sneeze guard. In front of the station, there are two white plates with metal serving spoons placed on them, set on a dark tablecloth. A small black sign labeled 'Kheer' is positioned near the plates, indicating the name of the dish.

Tikka Taproom is best place for dining Great vegetarian options with excellent preparation. The **Aloo Tikki Chaat** was amazing, and the **Mango Gobi Empanada** was also good. Traditional dishes like **Saag Paneer**, **rice**, **naan**, and **kheer** were all satisfying. The **Mango Lassi** was a standout, very refreshing. Ample parking and spacious seating with comfortable furniture, though the ambiance could benefit from some added decoration.

Tikka Masala Pizza! Yum - A partially eaten pizza featuring cheese, tomato, onion, and cheese sticks is displayed inside a white pizza box. The pizza has a dark crust and is topped with melted cheese, diced tomatoes, chopped onions, and cheese sticks. The box is open, revealing the remaining slices and some toppings scattered around.

O M G! The food here is AMAZING! Exactly what i was looking for in Indian food! So flavorful! The Pizza sign out front threw me off a little. Not understanding pizza and Indian food in the same sign but gave it a try. SO GLAD I did. Had a tikka masala pizza the first time I went...superb. The next time was butter chicken with garlic naan. These people can cook! Loved the colorful umbrellas and the general all around feel of India. Only small negative, would love to have Indian music playing in the background, softly. I'll be back!

    Tikka Supreme

Tried the tikka supreme for first time! Super flakey thin crust with chicken lamb and pepperoni. Must try it! Tandoor Grill is great as usual and the Tikka Masala is best in lake county!!

The restaurant is Bright and Welcoming. The staff is very friendly. The food is beyond Delicious, full of flavors that complement each other. All served hot and presented well. This new establishment is an Incredible addition to Lindenhurst. This restaurant was a recommendation from a Friend. Now, I completely understand what she was talking about. I am sure that you will Love it too

Our second visit, we were there once on opening day and wanted to try again. Place is kinda cute table cloths and 4 tops. We went early 4p and saw some carryout but no diners. They had a selection of cocktails on a blackboard but we had a hard time determining what the ingredients were. We had a mojito and a margaritta both had some extra ingredients and were good Next we had momo basically a deep fried chicken dumpling, was tasty. Next we had the lamb shiskabob and that was spicy and yummy. We asked for rareish was a little more than that but not dry. Lastly we had the chicken Tikka pizza, was not that good. Cheesy but bland, seemed like frozen pizza crust. My wife went to the restroom and said it was in bad shape cleanliness wise, did not notice in the mens. Overall, a couple of good things but mostly just average.

A clear glass filled with mango lassi, a yellow Indian yogurt-based drink, contains ice cubes and a black straw. The glass is on a speckled granite countertop, with some condensation visible on the outside of the glass. The background includes a partial view of a person's arm and a white plate.

Having to adjust my review after tonight's visit unfortunately. I really enjoy this place and want them to be successful in the community, but sometimes the service is not as pleasant as I'd like it to be. I've visited here quite a few times and have over looked the subpar service as they have always been kind and I love the food. We visited tonight and it was not very busy, 2 other tables filled when we arrived and left. We ordered our food and drinks and everything was ok. As the appetizer came out, we noticed that it said on the menu it came with 3 samosas but we were only served 2. They were large, but I would appreciate the menu to match what we are served. As we received our main meal everything was good and tasted fresh. Although, as we ate we were never checked on again. We ran out of water, but had no luck with refills, didn't check if we needed anything or if we were satisfied with the food. We didn't see our server again until after our meal was complete. He was kind but it was not too accommodating unfortunately. When we were done we asked for boxes and the check was brought out. There was no itemized receipt so we really don't know what we paid for. It was solely the total and tip options. We paid and did not receive a receipt as we left. Tonight's experience sadly left a bad taste in my mouth and I am not sure how to feel about it moving forward. The food is delicious, it would be great if the service matched this consistently.

Tandoori chicken as a takeout order
    Home P.

Visited for the first time today. We were greeted warmly and promptly served. Mango lassis and traditional samosas were not in the printed menu we were offered, but when we asked, they very pleasantly told us that both were available. The mango lassi was delicious, as was the samosas, which were crispy, hot and served with two yummy sauces. We also ordered butter chicken and saag paneer, which came with rice. Both dishes were outstanding! The chicken was so tender and both sauces had just the right amount of spice and heat. We contemplated ordering dessert, but wanted to try the tandoori chicken, so we placed an order to go. Can't wait to dig in to that dish later tonight. The portions were also good--enough for two people to share, with leftovers! Great service all around as well. Checked on us to replenish drinks, etc. Ambiance is ok. Restaurant is in a small strip mall. The chairs were comfy and the tables are large, which is really nice when sharing dishes. Can't wait to go back!

Curry goat, butter chicken, chicken biryani, all yummy!

Chicken biryani, butter chicken, goat curry. All yummy! We got medium spicy, it was less spicy than most Indian restaurant mediums. I would go up a level next time. The place was much bigger than expected and had several TVs inside. Hope this stays around because there aren't many great Indian places in the near vicinity!

The image shows a wooden table set with Indian fusion cuisine, including grilled chicken pieces with green chutney, a bowl of rice with vegetables, chickpea salad, and two samosas. There are also bottles of soda, a candle, and a foil-wrapped naan bread. Decorative plates with black and white floral patterns are placed on the table, along with condiments and a small container of green chutney. The setting suggests a casual dining environment with a focus on Indian-inspired flavors.

Amazing food. Friendly and fabulous staff. Helpful and just overall fantastic. We ordered takeout, and a lot of it. Everything was so flavorful. So many families enjoying a sit down dinner when I came to pick up our food. Ordered Mango Gobi Tikka (so crispy), Aloo Tikka Chaat (probably tie for one of our favorite dishes), Creamy Malai Tikka (amazed at how moist and juicy the chicken was), and Tikka Signature Dum Biryani had the best rice I've ever had. Seriously. Definitely will be making this a staple to go restaurant! So glad they're here in Lake Villa!

Tandoori Chicken - The image shows a white rectangular plate containing multiple pieces of tandoori chicken, including drumsticks and other cuts, seasoned and cooked with a reddish spice coating. The dish is garnished with leafy greens and accompanied by a small bowl of green chutney. The plate is placed on a speckled gray countertop, and part of a person's arm is visible in the background.

Butter chicken is SO GOOD. Perfect rice, perfect balance in the sauce of savory vs sweet vs heat. And the chicken was wonderfully tender.

The restaurant is clean, bright and inviting. One nice surprise, they have a full bar. Their menu is fairly large. And they were BUSY. They had a line from the back counter all the way through the restaurant of folks either picking up orders (from a prior phone order) or stopping in to order to go. This was nonstop for at least an hour. Saturday night definitely contributed. The food was pretty good. Solid portions, lots of flavor. Of course we ordered Garlic Naan (actually, basil garlic Naan) and it was a good portion and delicious. They only serve one chutney and one curry which I was disappointed by. I have experienced getting a tray of various curries etc. But they were "OK". Had some flavor, but honestly it wasn't flavor-full. My friend said that on prior visits it was better. We also ordered a Mango Lassi (no one had ever tried it so I ordered one so they could try it). It was really good and they loved it as well. We ordered Mango Chicken and Lamb Vindaloo. The chicken was so good and not too sweet. My wife loved it. My Lamb was ok. It was no where near "hot" or spicy which I am used to. It tasted very muted and more like an Indian tomato sauce rather than a true Vindaloo that I'm used to. Our friends meals were lamb and fish and were very good too. My Vindaloo was worth 2.5 to 3 stars but everyone else really liked theirs so I bumped it up to 4. The service was slow, but that was more likely to how busy they were. It wasn't unacceptable, just a bit slower than expected. All in all I would try it again. I would come back try the Chicken Vindaloo and tell them to kick the heat up. There are several dishes I would love to try and will try. But right now my recommendation is a "yes" for those wanting to try this delicious food, but a maybe for experienced Indian food folks that are looking for something more like home :)

The chole gravy was delicious, and the pickle paired really well with the combo. The chaat items weren't great. Dahi bhalla felt dry and didn't absorb the flavors of the chaat. Papadi chaat was oily, which was a turn-off. Malai chaap was great. The soy was tender and had a smoky flavor. The malai gravy was really yummy and paired super well with the chaap. For entrées, we had the Veg Hyderabadi, which was a spinach-based gravy. All the veggies were tender and absorbed the flavors of the spices. Paneer labandar was super yummy. The gravy was flavorful and mildly spicy, and the paneer was tender. Daal makhani was really great--perfectly creamy and spicy with amazing flavor. I was super excited to try the rumali roti, but it was a bit disappointing. It wasn't soft and had a LOT of butter. The garlic naan, however, was super soft and yummy. We ended the dinner with rasmalai, which was super yummy and loaded with dry fruits. Moong daal halwa tasted very comforting on this cold evening. The servers were very helpful, and the service was quick! Would definitely be back here specifically for the chole kulcha!
