The aloo cutlet with chole was the star of the show--super authentic and flavorful. The paneer tikka and paneer masala also hit the mark taste-wise, though I wish they had packed a bit more spice. The paneer tandoor came in a generous portion, but again, it could've used more flavor. The biryani was just average. One common theme--everything was low on spice, and the small container of spicy sauce they give barely lasted a few bites. It's a takeout-only spot, so no dine-in tables, and the parking area is small but manageable. Price-wise, it felt fair for the portion sizes. Not perfect, but worth trying if you're in the mood for North Indian flavors and don't mind customizing the spice at home!

Now the real problem is with this business and their prices. We were fixed to eat at a Kathiyawadi and wanted to try the newly opened Kathiyawadi II at Edison and while casually looking up the menu and price we found the Edison one had the Kathiyawadi special meals marked at $34.99 and that too Limited servings (no refills) whereas this one at Sayreville serves the same meal as unlimited for $25.99!!! Since we had decided to eat at Kathiyawadi, we still picked this location and went for lunch. Future outings here? Well that's debatable.
