I used to really enjoy Taco Tuesday here but noticed they've skimmed protein portions consistently. Flavor profile is still on point for the hot sauces and other menu items. The staff is usually friendly at this location.

I love seeing how each restaurant decorates their location with local funky touches. It's so fun to see. I have never had a bad experience or meal at any tijuana flats. It's always so good. The quality is always consistent. The service, for a quick service restaurant is fantastic. You order up front and your food will come out hot and fresh brought to your table. The staff is very friendly and attentive. They clean your table and offer refills on your drink. You have to try the sauce bar. So much variety. And best part is that you can even buy some of your favorite sauces. I love their flautas. Especially the ground beef ones. The portions are generous and a great deal. You get a side of tortilla chips, and all the fixins: sour cream, guac, queso, lettuce, onions, tomatoes. And they always have the good ice for your drinks. The nugget ice. The best kind! If you want something good, fresh, doesn't break the budget, and a bang for your buck, this is the place to go.

Great atmosphere, friendly professional staff, the restaurant is very clean all around. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by a friendly staff member, she told us a little bit about each carnitas dish that was part of the New Cranked Up Menu Items. We picked the Spicy Habanero Carnitas Burrito and the Chipotle BBQ Pork Tacos along with the Dueling Queso and Chips. I loved the tacos, the bbq sauce was not overpowering and you were able to taste every ingredient. My husband had the burrito and he loved the spice level and said it was really filling. The dueling queso and chips was great for us because I am more of a white queso lover and he enjoys yellow queso, perfect dish to share. The staff kept checking up on us to see if we needed anything, very attentive. Can't beat great food and great service!

This particular location of Tijuana Flats is located on Orange Avenue, South of downtown Orlando. It is located within a strip mall, so parking is not really an issue. The service here is exceptional. As my daughter and I approached the entrance, a friendly young woman opened the door and cheerily greeted us. From there, we approached the cashier, who was every bit as friendly and both these interactions started off a fantastic experience at this particular location of Tijuana Flats. Both my daughter and myself ordered something from the new shrimp menu. I went with the shrimp quesadilla and my daughter ordered the shrimp bowl. We also started by sharing their atom bomb appetizer. We also tried quite a few of the hot sauces from their "hot bar" (which have multiple hot sauces ranging from relatively mild to extremely spicy). All the food was excellent and multiple members of the staff, including the manager, kept checking on us, making sure our drinks were kept filled and making sure our experience was as positive as possible. This Tijuana Flats and its team are definitely great ambassadors of the Tijuana Flats brand and a positive reflection of the Tijuana Flats chain overall. I will give this Tijuana Flats five stars.

My husband happened to get the yelp elite reward to get two soft drinks, one appetizer, and two entrées that were shrimp themed. The appetizer we got was the atom bomb, and I got the shrimp quesadilla and my husband got the shrimp lime bowl. I got a Sprite and my husband got Dr Pepper. My husband took the food home for us to enjoy it, and unfortunately when I took a sip of my sprite it was just soda water with no Sprite flavoring. i'm sure if we were eating at the restaurant they would've replaced my drink. My husband said the root beer was fine. We both felt that the atom bomb appetizer was a bit heavy to us, it was basically a fried quesadilla with multiple types of cheeses inside. My shrimp quesadilla was decent, and I always like how many chips you get from Tijuana. The chips are always really good and I love all of their different salsa choices. I will say I wish my quesadilla had a bit more salt on it but overall it was decent. My husband really enjoyed his shrimp rice bowl but he wished it was a little larger. We will definitely be back, but I think we would try to order different things on the menu next time.

Grabbing dinner before seeing Pretty Woman the Musical. Trying the steak burrito this time. There was a little too much rice for my taste but the steak tasted good. I had the meal deal with refried beans which filled me up.

I mean, can you go wrong with a little Tijuana Flats? The answer is no. The queso NEVER fails. Ever, I mean ever, ever. We are OBSESSED. I enjoy the quesadillas, flautas and nachos as well. As Tex-Mex, Tijuana is solid. They have the excellent sauce bar ranging from non-spicy to extremely hot. You can customize your order quite a bit. I really enjoy coming here from time to time, especially when I am craving queso. All that's needed is the ability to add some chorizo to it, and it would be perfection.

Yelp Elite deal was a good sampling opportunity! Thanks Tijuana Flat's and Yelp. My fav. Would be the roasted shrimp quesadillas. Shrimp were plump and tasty with the roasted flavors. Lot more food than the shrimp tacos. (oops didn't do a shrimp count per slice) TONS OF CHIPS when you order the chips and guacamole appetizer and a shrimp entree. The guac is pretty basic lacking garlic or cilantro, but fresh. Chips are not over salted and plenty crisp! The shrimp tacos have FIVE fried and still plump shrimp with corn and cheese and yummy pickled purple onions. A good 2nd choice.

Love the decor of this location. This place makes you feel festive. Beautiful decor on inside and outside. The food was delicious. Had the carnitas tacos and burrito. It was delicious. My hostess Lacey was top notch. Helping me with my choices. You will love this place if you love Mexican food, better than fast food Mexican food. Food came within a reasonable amount of time. Planing to visit again

This was my first time at one of their locations abd it didn't disappoint, the guac was fresh, the chips were crispy and the servings were a good portion , I like that they have a outdoor seating area so we were able to bing our puppy along

Really enjoyed my visit to Tiajuna Flats this afternoon for the Yelp event. I have been to a few Tiajuna Flats over the years and have never been disappointed. Was greeted by Calla and she was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I ordered the spicy Habenero Carnitas Burrito and my wife ordered the Dos Chipotle BBQ Pork Tacos. The burrito I ordered as is with the exception of no beans. Fantastic. Flavors were popping. Had a great kick to it. Loved it. If you do not like spicy, do not add jalapeños to it. The tacos had a nice kick to them. Flavorful. Would definitely order again. The queso was great. Queso Blanco and Gold Queso. Gold Queso has more of a punch. I placed it on top of my burrito and was a great addition. The atmosphere and customer service was top notch. I would visit this location more, but, due to distance from my house and where I work, it is not ideal for travel.

I had my thoughts on the frozen raspberry margarita that I had the time before that was so delicious but unfortunately they did not have that flavor this time. I got the strawberry and lime frozen margaritas swirled together with a sugar rim. The margarita was pretty good. I'd give it 3 out of 5 stars. For an entree, I ordered the chicken flautas. This comes with rice and refried beans. When served, the entree came with 6 flautas which to me seemed like a decent portion. I was very disappointed though because there was barely any meat inside each one and I swear there was no cheese. Which cheese makes the dish. They were extremely dry and I only ate like 2. The rice and beans made up for the dish. I appreciate the salsa and chips that get brought out to each table.

Although a little different in decor, every Chuy's has the hand painted swimming fish, the hubcap ceiling, and the shrine to Elvis which was a fixture of the original store. I had a great first Chuy's experience with my girlfriend Holly in Pembroke Pines. On a recent trip to visit my daughter in Winter Park we passed Chuy's in Lakeside Crossing and remembering how much I liked it, I suggested we dine here for dinner. In addition to the multiple dining rooms, they also have outside patio seating. We were seated in my favorite room, the dog one. If you bring in a picture of your pup you can get a free appetizer so the walls are covered with pictures of people's dogs. This room also worked out best for us because it had two TV's and we could watch the Super Bowl. We started off with their complimentary chips that come with a spicy salsa fresca and a Chuy's signature item, creamy jalapeño dressing. It started out as a dressing and it is now a dip with a following. You can even purchase it to take home with you. Two dips can never be enough so we also ordered the queso that is a beloved menu item for good reason. The menu has a number of Tex-Mex favorites like burritos, tacos, and fajitas. Chuy's is especially known for their large portions. They also make all of their own tortillas and sauces. You can customize how spicy you want your food by pepper choice and sauce. I ordered my favorite steak burrito with double rice, no beans. I replaced the spicy hatch chili sauce with the creamy deluxe tomatillo recommended by our server. It was chef's kiss. My daughter and her boyfriend said they really liked their food too and with the large portion size, ended up having leftovers to take home with them. I love the quirky decor, value, and tasty food. We were in the mood for filling meal with a casual vibe and Chuy's hit the spot.

The pros are the sauces. Chips come with a creamy tomatillo sauce that is amazing. Honestly, this sauce is the reason I know this restaurant. There is also a salsa with the right amount of kick to it. Even the creamy green chili sauce was a hit. The sauces are what makes it for me here. But there are cons. The menu is very limited both in options and in proteins. Most items come either chicken or ground beef. That's Taco Bell options! The menu is simply a two sided laminated sheet. The chicken enchilada I had was made good by the sauce. The chicken was bland. The rellano I had seemed over cooked and lacking in cheese. Again, I was scraping sauce to add to the rellano. Honestly, I would recommend for sitting at the bar and eating chips and dips and drinking margaritas more so than for a great Mexican meal.

This was my first time experiencing a buffet for hispanic food and for this price point in Orlando, this is an amazing value deal. The server regularly brought us out silverware, napkins, and refilled our water. The place is decorated very fun and plays latin music which was lovely Not only was there an unlimited assortment of lunch foods, but an entire bar of fresh toppings for tacos (or rice bowls) and made to order desserts which were included for free! Not everything on the buffet line was the best but given the amount of options, price, and how good the great items are this is still worth a five star rating. I unfortunately did not take pictures of the food before I began devouring everything in sight to the point of near-collapse, but I will do a quick rundown of the buffet highlights: The best meats were the fajita steak, chicken, and shrimp made fresh in cast iron skillets, as well as the chicken lengua which was super flavorful and tender. The mexican rice, beans, fajitas, plantains, and street corn were also excellent. Fresh quesadillas, chips, and corn tortillas on standby with homemade queso and salsas. The flan and mini churros were the best I've ever had. Super rich, decadent Carmel flan. Mini churros hot and crisp on the outside, filled with a gooey soft milk chocolate center. They were delicious. Items that were disappointing: the tamales, mini chicken flautas, and beef chimichangas were just okay, lacking the seasoning and flavor that other dishes had. The beef barbacoa was not as tender or flavorful as the shredded chicken surprisingly. The mixed seafood was itself a mixed bag with some shrimps / scallops overcooked to much while others were perfectly cooked. The chicken mole and beef tri tip were room temperature despite sitting on hot plates. The tri tip also varied widely in doneness throughout the slices and not super tender. The rice pudding was pretty standard, and the tres leches cake was weird as they crumbled the cake into pieces before soaking it.

The restaurant itself is very nice inside clean, well designed, and has a welcoming atmosphere. There's also a parking garage nearby, which makes it convenient. When we arrived, it wasn't too busy, and it took our server about 4 minutes to greet us. Once she did, she was incredibly friendly and accommodating, especially since I have a shellfish allergy. That definitely stood out and made me feel comfortable dining there. They start you off with complimentary chips and dips, which were amazing and a great way to kick off the meal. For my main, I ordered the chipotle queso enchiladas along with the Perfect Paloma. The drink lived up to its name it was refreshing, flavorful, and honestly one of the highlights of the meal. We also tried the supreme nachos, which were good overall, but the beans were a bit overpowering compared to the other toppings. As the restaurant started to get busier, things did slow down a bit, and the food took longer than expected because they were backed up. That said, our server continued to check in on us and kept a great attitude the entire time. When the enchiladas finally came out, they did not disappoint. The chipotle queso enchiladas were absolutely delicious full of flavor and definitely something I'd order again. The only downside was the rice, which was a little hard and not as enjoyable as the rest of the plate. Overall, Uncle Julio's offers a great dining experience with excellent service, a clean environment, and some really standout menu items. We went in during Happy Hour expecting to sip a drink while we waited for food. Despite advertising Half Off Cocktails, when the server finally arrived we were informed that it only applied to about six margaritas on their menu, not 'cocktails' as advertised. We didn't complain to the server, as we assumed it wasn't his policy. Disappointing and misleading. We did end up ordering a variety of margaritas, which were disappointing to our crew for various reasons. Mine was acceptable but not exciting, though. I got the swirl with sangria. We checked in online and got the free 'guac'. I wish I'd snapped a photo, as it arrived without an attempt at presentation, just two scoops of mushed avocado on a plate. It needed more seasoning, which was unfortunate because there was no salt at our high top table. Nachos were decent, but soggy. I asked for extra jalapenos, which I did receive and they gave my plate more flavor. Service was fine. I felt bad that our server was both tending bar and taking orders as happy hour seemed to be a busier time for him. Overall, my experience was ho hum but my table partners were disappointed in the food, drinks, and experience. Hopefully yours is better than ours!
