This was our first time visiting a Tijuana Flats restaurant. When ordering you go to the counter and place your order then they bring the food to your table. I ordered the Baja fish tacos and my husband ordered a burrito bowl. Our order came out pretty quickly after ordering. The server also came to our table asking if we needed anything or a refill. The decor inside is really awesome and honestly my favorite part. This place is good if you want a Tex- Mex place and a quick bite to eat.

This place is the BOMB. So many awesome menu choices and everything was delicious. While here in Florida, we learned that Tijuana Flats is the "big thing." Everyone goes here and the food is fantastic. They call it Tex mex food but I think it is more just Mexican food. Just what I like! I got the tostada and man was it good!!! It had all of my favorite things topped above crispy tortilla pieces. Retried beans, cheese, chicken, lettuce, onions, jalapeños, and tomato. With a side of the PERFECT roasted salsa. My bro in law got the steak burrito which he liked a lot. And my husband got the chicken enchiladas which he loved as well. They also do free refills on drinks and their staff is amazing! Multiple employees came out and asked if we needed refills or any salsas or anything else. They were so kind. Most restaurants don't even do this. These weren't waiters, they were just awesome workers! Because you pay for your food at the counter and then everything else they do for you after is just because TF makes it a great environment to eat at! Also, the vibe there is awesome. Each Tijuana flats is designed different inside with different paintings and what not. They also have a wall of famous people that have come in to eat at TF! This place is GREATTTTT!!!

I love the food and the staff here. But they need to do something about "call ahead to pick up" service. It's always taking me a lot of time on the phone, waiting of course. With all the time since I get ready, get in my car, drive there... I'm still on the phone and waiting .... It has taken over 17 minutes already, and no one has came to the phone to take my order!!! I'm done!!!!

What a pleasant surprise! On a whim, we decided to stop in. We haven't been to this location since it was a Schlotzsky's. We ordered the enchiladas(one beef and one chicken) with all the toppings. It came with rice and beans. We got free chips and salsa, too. Since we told them that we were newbies, the friendly manager(Sean) came over to our table and suggested some of the hot sauces and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be back soon!

Tijuana Flats offers a wide variety of tex-mex standards including tacos, chimichangas, flautas, burritos, quesadillas, nachos, enchiladas and salads. Each menu items can be made with ground beef, steak, chicken, blackened chicken or rice and black beans with fresh lettuce, tomato, black olives, jalapenos (fresh cut not pickled.. yum!), cheese and sour cream. Ordering an item "PowerLite" means they will use lower fat cheese and sour cream which is good when you are trying to eat healthier. The atmosphere of the restaurant is casual and you order at a counter, but then the food is brought back to your table and waiters/waitress come by to fill up drinks and clean up your table. So it is half way between fast foot and sit down dining. One of the best aspects of the place is their Hot Sauce bar. Varying locations will have different amounts of sauces, but this Largo location has one of the larger bars with a wide number of varieties (15-20). Some of the sauces change from month to month so you get to try new types all the time. The prices are reasonable and the service is friendly and dependable. Another thing I love about Tijuana Flats is the speedy service. When I call them with a take out order, it is always ready the second I walk in the door and all the order is always correct. Also the staff at all the locations always seems to be very friendly. I tend to always get the dos tacos hard shell with black beans and it makes for a delicious vegetarian meal. Both their black beans and refried beans are vegetarian-friendly so that is a definite plus. A small side of queso goes great as a dip for the chips that come with the meal, and if you are extra hungry you can get a rice and beans side for a small up-charge. As silly as this may sound they used crushed iced in their drinks and it is yummy. They also offer a good selection of beers including mexican ones like Tecate, Modelo (especial and negra), and Dos Equis. This location also has Shock Top on draft. I definitely prefer Tijuana Flats over Chiptole, Moes, Qdoba or other places like that. It is a Florida chain (starting in Olrando) so it is local too. I'm a big fan.

We've been coming to this location for years and have always been greeted the minute we walk in the door. The staff including, the always hands on managers, are very consistent in their work ethic, friendliness, and genuine care of us and all of the guests. Tijuana Flats is a fun place to go hang, eat some fresh, yummy food, drink a few beers, and relax. It's obvious walking in the door, and if you need to see it in writing, check out their manifesto posted on the wall for everyone to read! I almost always go for the megajuana burrito and make it a meal with beans and rice. Other favorites are the tostadas (awesome), tijuana trio, blackened chicken salad with avacado ranch, and flautas. Beers are cheap, especially during happy hour!

This should be called a Mexican deli. You order at the counter and take a number and they bring it to you. We did not stay.

Would rate this a 4.5 but you can't do half stars…read more Delicious Mexican food, I had the mix & match enchilada dinner, and my husband had the wicked burrito. The mix & match was plentiful and way more than I could eat, the wicked burrito, a tad spicy, but my husband ate every bit of it. Loved the shredded chicken enchilada, seasoned perfectly. Our waitress, Jennie S. was on top of things, coming around often checking on us, very friendly offering suggestions. The establishment looks better on the inside, a little deceiving from the road which I think the sign makes it look a little worn. The inside looks newer & cleaner. Would definitely bring our friends here that love Mexican food, I think this is one of the better establishments around.

Very fun, large open restaurant. Clean and nice decor…read more Our service was great! Very accommodating, brought another helping of chips & salsa. The salsa was good, the chips were hot. The food, not so great. Nothing special. My honey had Cowboy Brisket tacos with refried beans & Mexican rice. The meat had not much flavor, The Jalapeño slaw was missing the Jalapeño flavor, tasted just like slaw. The rice was dry not much flavor and the refried beans were bland. I had the Mexican Cesar salad with pumpkin seed cilantro dressing. I didn't taste any cilantro. I had a side of shredded chicken that was overloaded with so much granular spice that it tasted powdery. We probably won't come back.

After church on Sunday, we looked for a place we had not tried yet. We landed on El Huarache Azteca…read moredue to the good reviews and ratings. And it was on the way home. Our foursome arrived and waited a few minutes and grabbed the only open table. The place is wonderful and nicely decorated. Even the tables have Mexican art on theme. It was crowded with most Mexican families, which was a great sign. We were brought drinks and looked over the menu. Tortilla chips were brought and Salsa. I asked for Hot Salsa and it had a nice heat to it. I ordered Queso Blanco for the chips. I had read some negative reviews of the Queso but it was great. Took a bit, they were full of patrons, so we needed a refill of chips in the meantime. While waiting I took some pictures of the dining rooms, a lot of interesting items around. Our oldest daughter ordered a pound the Bistec Steak, with some flour tortillas. Our youngest daughter ordered the Steak Fajitas. My wife got her usual Burrito. I prefer the Chilis Relleno that are breaded and fried, most just cover with sauce, and theirs were breaded so my choice. Our meals came after a bit. The Fajitas were very good and came with a large jalapeno that was nicely fiery. The Burrito was good, just wish I could convince her to try other things. My Chilis Relleno were very good, but too much sauce over theme took away the crispness of the fried batter. Tasted good though. The pound of Bistec Steak was the big hit. It was delicious, we all tried a bite. Next time I think we will get a couple pounds for the table, which should feed four people easily - as long as my 16 year old grandson in not along. Great food, good service, amazing atmosphere. Recommended.

Interesting restaurant. Went on a late Sunday afternoon. Chips were delicious. Salsa was decent…read more The food was decent but didn't stand out. We had tacos, enchiladas, and burritos with various fillings. The rice and beans were bland and not presented well. I think some lettuce and sour cream could be added. My fruit margarita was nothing to write home about, and since we chose Mexican for that, it was a disappointment. The flight, however, proved oddly, entertaining. It comes in a hollowed out wooded airplane and is carried out with great presentation by the entire staff, all of whom are costumed up. Music rocks the house and guests are treated to some exotic dancing as each server performs. Many have great moves! But I was left to wonder how they felt about that part of the job. My friend said there was liquor in her flight drinks. We had dessert, and like the rest of the food, it was decent but nothing outstanding. Service was attentive. The place is airy and bright. There is a bar and seating there. A 3.5.
