It was mostly shredded iceberg lettuce. It had some chicken, peppers and a few pieces of corn and pinto beans. Very ordinary but edible. My wife ordered tacos. Four of the smallest tacos I have seen were smothered with diced onions. She was also less than impressed. Casita Mexicana is just another average restaurant that tries their best, but just serves the typical "Euro-Mex" food. It just isn't the same as good Mexican food from the Southwestern U.S. (Or Mexico, of course). There were only two other couples in the restaurant, yet the girl sat us in the back, right next to the toilet. Didn't realize it until I was eating and started smelling it. Poor decision by the staff.

We really miss Mexican food being that we're from California and you can tell by the dishes that this is true Mexican cuisine. The owners are from Mexico and if you want to level up your spice to your dish they have other spicer sauces like habanero which is difficult to find in Germany. They decorated really well and have huge painted murals and have Spanish music playing while dining, we will absolutely return the next time we're in Köln.

Nice touch with the blankets for you to use if you get cold. Only downside is lots of chain smokers but that's at most bars. Located (as the name suggests) right near the Dom, Domkeller offers good beer (German, Belgian as well as others) in a cozy atmosphere. For me, Domkeller embodies what a bar should be--a relaxed place where you can share a drink with friends and listen to good music (at just the right level) or have a good conversation. The music played here is fantastic and is an amazing mix that just about everyone will enjoy. They also regularly have concerts--I'm sure this place gets packed for those! Although a bit pricey (our bill came to around 12 with 2 beers and a snack) I think it's a nice enough place to enjoy a drink (skip the snack).
