That alone should say a lot. Not only does she take great care of my hair, but she's also done several friends' and family members' hair over the years as well. I've recommended multiple people to her, including a few guy friends, and I've genuinely never heard anyone leave unhappy. One thing I really appreciate about Andrea is her honesty. I can come to her with inspiration photos or ideas, and she'll realistically explain the best way to achieve the look while still maintaining the health of my hair. I had my hair cut at Ulta at the Town Center (go look at my review there for photos of before!) where the lady just didn't know what she was doing and left me with an unfinished hair cut. I came to Olivia yesterday with a few photos of what I had wanted and she took control immediately. She washed my hair with purple shampoo, that I ended up going online and buying since they don't carry it there at the salon (Fanola No Yellow Shampoo) and it is about to be at my house now! I don't think I've ever had someone to wash my Hair with the purple shampoo at the salon before! Olivia took such care when it came to cutting my Hair into something that was unique to me, and something I would love. She provided further instructions on how to style it and how to brush it while blow drying, in the back, so that my curls in the back settle properly the next time I go to wash it. And even after she was done with blow drying and styling, she went back into it several more times to make sure it was absolutely perfect! I have found my new hair stylist! There is nothing more satisfying than getting a haircut you absolutely love AND finding a hair stylist you can continue going to for long term. In the end, I'm so thankful I went to Ulta and got my hair wrecked - because it brought me to someone who will do my hair perfectly from now on! I have been looking for someone to dye my hair for a while. My stylist is in Cali and she is older, so not too much experience with dying hair. I live in Savannah and was willing to commute for the right person. I found Salon PK on IG. I called and inquired about getting my hair done. I spoke with Tatiyana and she told me I could come in that day to have a consultation. I told her I was out of town for work until mid January. She asked some questions about my hair and she said that we can set up a virtual consult. She got my number and said that she will be sending me a message to send her some pictures of my hair then she will set up a virtual consult. One week later, I heard nothing from Tatiyana or the salon. I tried to give grace because it was around the holidays. I called again and spoke to a young lady at the desk. She reassured me she would have Tatiyana call me back. Tatiyana called me back and no apologies or anything for the lack of communication. Now Tatiyana says I have to come in for a consult and she picked which stylist would be best for me. Never seen this stylist work and how could she pick what stylist is best for me when she knows nothing about my hair. I then asked would I be able to get my hair done when I come in for a consult and she said I might but can't guarantee it. I had high hopes for this salon but when someone shows you who they are at the beginning, believe them.
