We are having a pool install and needed removal of some of the existing concrete patio, as well as…read morehaving a cap put on existing concrete. He responded to my wife pretty quickly on Facebook. He came out and gave us a quote which was reasonable so we agreed to move forward. He was told that the removal would have to happen before a certain date, actually was told several time during the meeting. The reason was because of our scheduled dig date for the pool. I went as far as telling him if they couldn't do removal then I would but I just needed to know. This week he was supposed to start and kept pushing back start date. He sent my wife a message saying he could do it after the date we needed it done. He called us and we explained that he had told us it would be done before pool dig date. He stated he wasn't going to work around our pool schedule and that he had moved us up anyway. He told us to find someone else, which we will. The biggest issue is don't tell someone you can do something if you can't. The concrete cap was not nearly as important as cutting and removing some of our existing patio. My advice is to use foxcrete.

Really disappointed. We had Matt come in and lay porcelain wood like floors. They continued from…read moreour existing floors in our 3 front rooms. There is no transition. They all flow into each other. We told his guys stay with pattern. The front area was packed with our things from the rooms they were doing except where they were going in and out of the foyer. We were blocked off so not to step on what they were doing and I left for work out of town. Our house was in complete chaos from floors & painting. 2 months later once we started moving things back to normal we realized the patterns were different. I called Matt and he apologized that he too did not see this. He agreed to pull up the floor in the front area because it is smaller square footage than the area his guys did. Even though the pattern that was already down before he came in is what we wanted we knew this would easier and less expensive for Matt. We also asked him to give us a quote to go ahead and finish our 3 bedrooms because we wanted to soften the blow of the expense of him correcting his mistake because we liked him. We waited 3 weeks to hear from him and he completely disappeared on us. We had a lawyer send him a letter. He only sent me pictures of texts where I said I thought our floors look beautiful. He never responded to the letter. We could've sued because the last text I have from him stated, "Either way we will get it right but yes ma'am I can do that," referring to replacing the front area and giving us a quote and doing the 3 bedrooms. Not contacting us simply proves to me if he makes any mistakes on a job he will not be the kind of business man to follow through doing the right thing to fix them. This is so sad to me because we really would have let him finish the rest of our home. Now we only see him as dishonest.
