Beautiful setting and the service is great. The facilities are clean and the staff friendly. Feels like home. We stopped over on our way to Cornwall. Had the mushroom soup and sourdough bread. A seafront Cafe with a stupendous location. The service is good, decor in pale green wood panels looks pretty. The choice of lunchtime meals is great. The outside seating is mostly without a shade under garden umbrellas. The catch is, you can park your car for free on the sea front promenade, if you are lucky, enough. The staff is extremely professional and friendly. The sandwiches are of high quality and come with plenty of cream and jam. The majority of the food is locally sourced, so, they have the in-home feeling. The choice of the teas and cakes are extensive. The 99 Special Ice Cream is just perfect!!! The Jasmine Green Tea, is stupendous as well. The tea cake wasn't dry like most of the places and was gluten free. Healthy!!! A perfect place to watch the sun over the waves with a warm cup of tea sipping through your thirsty lips. A must visit, if you are in Clevedon Pier, especially if the weather is sunny! read more

Friendly staff, but can get very busy, even in the "off-season." Food and drinks are a little on the expensive side, but I guess a fair proportion of the cost is due to the view overlooking the pier and sea. It certainly is a beautiful location for a coffee and bite to eat. read more

On a day visit to Clevedon & the weather being bit of a blustery, I came across "Tiffins" a long the promenade, I thought I'd try inside, there is seating outside & under a canopy given that it was forecast for squally showers you would be pretty much be dry ! The waitress I saw did press the outside heaters on which I'm sure would have been appreciated by those who sat outside, having said that my visit is in the middle of August & felt more like autumn but non the less still feeling somewhat chilly. Ok unfortunately the only table free was inside at the time of my visit was pretty much opposite the entrance door, so in effect I was getting hurricane winds blowing on to me ! My choice from the days specials absolutely blew me away, a Blueberry & Almond tart with a choice of ice cream, cream or clotted cream The size of the portion would certainly have been ample to share. It was absolutely delicious. The only downside was that even though I had got a seat straightaway, & my first time to visit I wasn't sure if it was waitress service. I felt like I was waiting for ages before anyone came to attend me, ( I was about to leave, when the young waitress came along ) as above I ordered a special, plus a pot of tea it's loose tea, & there is quite a wide choice for those who have discerning preferences. The place was quite busy although not over run, you were not pressured to hurry up, in fact a good idea I saw was that a table booking was made for prime position for the best view in the room for high tea, certainly worth considering although not compulsory perhaps recommended. That said I would defiantly be returning to sample the menus at some point in the not too distant future. read more

I couldn't disagree more with the only other review on here, I can only guess that it was put up by an employee! It is as described, a seafront cafe with an 'OK' location, the service was not good, infact it was intimidating, my wife and I were made to feel very uncomfortable and were rushed through, the quality of the food was reasonable, but overpriced. The whole thing was a pretentious joke. I would call the staff far from professional, patronising and snobby would be more accurate. Will not return here ever. read more

The cakes and cream teas are super tasty and theres a wide selection of tea and coffee to choose from. The menu looks yummy too - lots of choice, but I've never made it past cake! read more
