If you'd prefer something light, there's almost always a fantastic soup (I had carrot and coriander today), but if you're feeling famished I dare you to take on the atomic bomb which is a combination of any three meats and all the salad you like! Its location means that it's perfect for those working in Cardiff city centre (or the Bay) as well as those indulging in a bit of shopping, although I regularly travel out of my way to treat myself to a cheeky sandwich. But there is something homely and traditional about the food and experience that a good butcher can provide. And here, of course, I'm talking about David Lush. The quality of produce here is unsurpassable. The cut of meat and freshness is always to a high standard. They do a great range of sausages and burgers, including gluten-free options. Notably, their bacon is to die for; none of that thin supermarket stuff we're unfortunately used to. Yes, David Lush is more expensive than the supermarket. Yes, you have to get their quickly in the day before they sell out (they're just that good). But none of that really matters, does it?

It over looks the oval basin and faces the sun. I have spent many a summer day having a few cheeky ones chatting away whilst the sun goes into the bay. To tempt workers out of their staff canteens Baguetty Junction offers an airy outdoor seating area, but for those that can't be tempted out they also offer a free workplace delivery service. The sandwich shop come coffee bar do amongst other things a jacket potato with any two fillings for £2.50 + side salad for an extra 30p. For those that missed out on breakfast and can't stop they do a breakfast baguette for £2.20-£3.00. The only downside for me was that the menu played it very safe and there was nothing on it that I could eat as a Vegan, not even a humous panini. Yes I know I only account for a tiny percentage of the population so this is a very small gripe. There we go gripe over.
