I was recommended to go to Sevan jewelers by our Armenian priest. I had my fathers diamond to be…read morereset. I showed him a picture of the designs of settings from a major catalog, and asked him if he could produce a setting exactly like the picture. He said no problem. The diamond was large, and I told him I wanted the designs on the sides to be the same ratio, to the center stone, as in the picture. Is that too hard to understand? He shrugged it off like, I was an idiot for asking that. He assured me I will get that ring, exactly, with the diamond I gave him. Don't ever trust this person to mount anything of value to you. When I got the ring, the side designs were 20% smaller than the dimensions of the center stone. He evidently, got someone to cast it, without telling them I wanted the proper dimensions of designs, relating to the size of the diamond. I wanted the same proportions as the picture. So I received a ring, that was NOT what I asked for. He didn't relay any information to the people that were casting the platinum ring!!! He led me to believe he had total control. He didn't cast it, all he did was mount it. He said he was sorry, and didn't even offer to fix it. I paid $1700 for a ring , I didn't ask for. I thought jewelers were smart enough to know what ratios, or proportions meant. But this guy, doesn't care, he just wants his money. I'm armenian, and I thought I could trust him, but don't trust him, unless you just want repairs. He's probably OK at that. I don't want anybody to make the same mistake I did. Judy Piranian

At the end of my visit I was told that I would receive an email of the proposed item of purchase the following Monday. I had not heard back so I called and I was informed that she was busy and would get me my quote that day. When had not heard back in 2 days, I called back again. I was told that they are understaffed and she was overwhelmed. She completed another inquiry and would be working on my order. I was told that she would send me the information that night. There was a timeline for the item as it was a gift I expressed my frustration with the delays and my concerns and the associate abruptly hung up. I did not receive the quote as promised again. I have been a past customer here for many purchases and never experienced such poor service. They are not attentive to the customer and do not follow through with a commitment. Supposedly I was called (no call no message to be seen) to let me know there was an issue. The remedy for this was to give me the wrong band for the wedding and then return it to get the right one after. Totally unacceptable to not follow up with a customer if you didn't hear back from them especially one that paid a deposit already. Knowing there was a time crunch to just leave it hanging was very poor business practice. DO NOT RECOMMEND!
