But, they should also know that the employees at Tiffany's are as valuable and worthy of praise as the diamonds on their jewelry. I bought a beautiful handbag seven years ago and brought it to the Coral Gables store to have it repaired. Deimante, an employee at the Coral Gables store is the epitome of a Tiffany employee. She is brilliant, thoughtful, kind and more helpful than I could have imagined. Deimante told me that she would send my handbag to Italy to be repaired. She said it would take about 3 weeks to restore the bag and that there would be no charge as Tiffany stands by all their products. She made the whole experience easy and carefree as she did when she sold me a beautiful diamond cross necklace.The handbag came back 3 weeks later, as beautiful and elegant as the day I bought it! I have been a loyal customer of Tiffany for many years and I have confidence that as long as they have employees like Deimante, customers like me can rest assured that all my purchases will continue to remain in the same condition in the future as they were the day I bought them. This store is very welcoming and nice environment. I came to see jewelry I was interested in, in person. I met Louis and he helped me with all my questions and concerns. He was great and very easy to talk to. The staff there is very sweet. I appreciate they offer cleaning Tiffany jewelry, at no cost. I went a different time before my birthday, and they started my celebration early for me with some champagne and chocolates. It made my experience there unforgettable. Johanna really helped out and there were no surprises and no false expectations. They offer luxury gifts at price points that start from just about everyone's budget to much higher end. Always professional and the store is just so beautifully arranged. They have been around for quite some time and their name is synonymous with quality. I listened and observed as we looked throught Tiffany's catalogue online and when I noticed something that sparked her interest, I took silent notes. It maybe because we have been here several times over the years (with a household full of young ladies, the pilgrimage to this store is mandatory), or the fact that they are a top notch brand, but these guys always remember us and the service is simply flawless. Last January I bought my wife a lovely pen from @tiffanyandco from The Shops at Merrick Park. Unfortunately the pen's cartridge was faulty and I had to go back to replace it. I was greeted by the store manager Maggie Parker and directed to Mekenzie Bradley who quickly took care of my pen issues. I was sat down and offered several options of beverages. My coffee came in a tastefully painted Tiffany & Co. themed cup, and while I sipped on my espresso Mekenzie brought out two new cartridges (black and blue) and asked me which one I wanted. I expressed my intention to purchase the blue one (so my wife has two color options for her pen). Instead of having to pay for the extra one, I was given them both for free. I want to say thank you for the amazing experience. Kudos to the brand and to the staff, great job guys!!! When I lived in New York where Tiffany was my neighbor I'd visit the store to browse or to purchase gifts for colleagues, friends, and even myself. I knew of it's famous "the-customer-is-always-right" philosophy and I believed it was expert in everything it sold. So when I moved to Miami and the Tiffany watch I gifted myself needed a battery I headed over to Merrick Park. It was surprising how long I had to wait for a clerk after ringing the service department bell. Pavlov must have been conducting experiments in the other room and first come, first served. I was happy when the service clerk reared her head to ask how she could help. I told her my watch stopped, I believed it was my battery, and she placed my watch on a lush velvet tray, gave me a receipt and told me to return in an hour. An hour!? Tiffany must have a lot of repairs in the works. I browsed the mall for an hour. That's would have been pleasant if I didn't have a meeting to attend in an hour and a forty five minutes. An hour passed and I arrived back at Tiffany's service department. I rang the bell for service and nothing happened. I rang again and waited. Finally on the third ring a woman with an irritated look came though the door and asked what I wanted. Explaining why I was there, I handed her the ticket I was given earlier. Without a word, she turned around and went back inside where nobody could see her, presumably to fetch my watch which should have now been working perfectly. I waited. And waited. And waited longer. Finally I pressed the service bell again and the woman peeked out and told me she'd be another minute. She finally came out with the fancy tray, my watch, and some paperwork. I took my watch and put it on my wrist and hurriedly asked what I owed. "Thirty six dollars," I was advised. I knew that was a lot for a watch battery but, after all, this was Tiffany. I was certain I now had the finest battery ever manufactured in the history of humankind and that a certified Tiffany technician performed a cursory inspection of the watch to assure there were no looming problems inside. I handed the less-than-eager clerk my credit card, signed the chit, and walked briskly out of the store toward the parking lot [where I would pay additionally for the privilege of paying for my $36 battery] But as I walked to my car I looked at the watch to see how much time I had to get to my meeting. Time on the watch was fixed on the exact time it read when I brought it in. And the second hand wasn't moving. Something went wrong with the installation of my battery by Tiffany's expert technician! I marched back, rang the bell again, and waited for the Queen to come through the door. I explained the watch still wasn't working and asked if anybody looked at it after the battery was changed. "If you'd like, sir, I can send it to our expert repair facility in New Jersey to determine what's wrong with the watch. We can have it repaired there". I repeated, "Did anybody look at the after the battery was changed to assure the watch was working"? Again, the watch was offered a trip to New Jersey. I explained I'd lost confidence in Tiffany and had no assurance a trip to New Jersey would result in my watch working properly. I chanted my recurring mantra, "Did anybody look after the battery was changed to assure the watch was working? Did you personally look at the watch as you brought it out to me?" "Sir," I was told, "the battery in your watch is brand new. I can bring you the empty package to show you." "I'm sure you can", I replied. "But I simply want to know if anybody saw the watch operating correctly after the battery was changed". I was teeming with anger but didn't let it show. You know the old adage about attracting more flies with honey than you can with vinegar. I desperately wanted to attract some honey because I was surrounded by flies and vinegar. The clerk offered to get the manager for me. Another minute or two passed--and my honey appeared! An attractive, well dressed, and competent-sounding woman asked me to tell her what had happened. I explained. She offered my watch a trip to New Jersey at my expense and highly recommended it. "No thank you", I told the honey. I've lost confidence in Tiffany and would prefer to take the watch someplace local. She told me she'd process a full refund and that I could keep the new battery in my watch. "Thank you", I replied. She asked for the receipt I was given, pressed a few buttons on the register and told me she reversed the charge. I thanked her and drove speedily to discover my meeting was postponed to next week. The next day I took the watch to Cutler Jewelers on US 1 where I was treated informally by a husband and wife team who tested the "new" battery [it was dead] and replaced it with a new battery--for $6.00. You know that no mater what you get , if its in a little baby blue bag you are going to like it. A lot of the things in this store I cannot afford or probably won't pay the ridiculous amounts of dollars if I had in fact the cash. None the less the costumer service is superb and they treat you in a very parallel manner even if you don't spend over $2000.00 and they try to accommodate to what it is you are looking for. Michael helped me pick out two really nice gifts for a present and within my budget, at no time did I feel pressured or uncomfortable or forced to spend more than my original intention. I am a girl. I love Tiffany & Company. Surprise, surprise, right? But to be honest with you, I am not a bling bling kind of girl. I usually only wear my engagement ring and not much else, and definitely not much else that costs more than my car. However, I can appreciate a nice piece of jewelry. The reason I love Tiffany & Co., aside from their gorgeous jewelry, is their outstanding customer service. Look, I cannot afford most things in the store but whenever I walk in there they make me feel so welcome. For example, the other day Nate M. and I walked in to find a moderately priced but nice gift for my best friend for her her birthday. I was attended to immediately, and when I advised of my price range, the sales gentleman showed me many great pieces without making me feel bad I was not forking over 1000's of dollars. I stopped in to get a Tiffany silver chain cleaned or polished. Someone told me that they provide free cleaning of their own silver jewelry. NOT TRUE. Ok, so $55 to polish silver but downside is they have to send it to NY. How about just cleaning it? $20 and takes an hour. OK. Fine. This is Tiffany's, where you would think they would offer assistance immediately. Unfortunately, only one person knew how to take an order to clean jewelry, and she was busy with the only other customer in the store. So I waited and waited while sales people just stood around since there was no one else in the store. I finally had to go. I could not keep waiting. I will not come back. I received some christmas money as a gift and decided I needed to get my Tiffany fix for the year. I came with my mom and I kind of had my heart set on a ring but after seeing it in person I changed my mind. I eneded up getting a larger silver heart pendant from the Return to Tiffany collection. The sales person Juan was nice and catered to us but I could tell he was getting irritated when he realized we weren't spending a ton of money. My pendant was only $80. I got home that night after shopping all day and pulled my new necklace out excited to wear it only to find scratches all over it. I have other Tiffany pieces and I realize the scratches come from wear and tear however it should have been sold to me in perfect condition. That's an expectation for Tiffany. Highly dissapointed with my purchase I decided to return it to get a new one. I went back today with my mom and got Juan once again. Of course he didn't remember us. We explained we bought it from him and why we wanted an exchange. He says OK. No apology or anything. Checks the computer for something and says that was the last in stock ( clearly why they sold it to me in such condition). Next words "I can ship it to your home and I would be willing to waive the shipping fees." Well of course you will Juan! All the way up in Tallahassee!!! Needless to say, Juan was overly rude. I expected better service from Tiffany and this location is very bad. Regardless of the service the selection is lower than limited. I won't be returning here. I recently bought my wedding rings from there on a rush mission from Jamaica back to New Zealand. I had read a couple of fairly indifferent reviews here, and as this is not the sort of thing you want to get wrong, I was on the ground for about 5 hours and they had to get the size and the style in stock (you would think that would be easy - but being unsure whether Japanese sizes matched western sizes etc - there were a few things that could have gone badly wrong...) the whole thing went without any problems - the staff were exemplary - incredibly polite, they had everything ordered in as I had asked for it and the rings were the perfect size. So, its service as you expect from a company like this, but how often do you get that sort of service these days - I spent quite a while looking at other rings, and I wish they had the 6mm milgrain in stock, but the 4mm does nicely, and my wife is wrapped. The woman working did not greet me, I had to approach her myself for assistance. I asked if they had any faux tension ring settings. She said "fall"? And I said "No, faux, it means false." And that I'd be interested in regular tension settings too. She asked me to describe it and I suggested she look it up - I am not very good at describing such things - and I spelled it for her F A U X. She disappeared and came back with her manager. She then proceeded to declare me rude, saying how rudely I'd treated her, etc etc. So I left, the manager apologising as I marched out the door. Tiffany's is known for its quality and customer service. Merrick Park is definately an exception. I bopped in to Mayor's too. I was welcomed warmly and had a pleasant conversation with their sales rep who knew of tension settings and although didn't carry any, advised me on where to find them as well as told me of their pros and cons. I ordered a gift for my niece a week ago. At the time I placed order there was no warning or communication about possible delivery delays. Gift was supposed to arrive on 03/26. Today, 03/27 I receive an email about the company taking precautionary measures and that my gift may be delayed. Gift still has not shipped and they cannot even tell me when it is going to ship. First off, all I can say this place is Amazing! My husband and I are not from the area and are on our honeymoon. I wanted a jewelry piece from a well known fancy name. We came here on a very stormy and wet day. I and my husband were soaked from head to toe from all the water. There were 2 ladies in the front who greeted me and asked if I needed towels to dry off. I said yes please. They both came back right away and gave me towels to dry off. Then we proceeded to walk over to the bracelet counter. I do not know the name of the long brown haired skinny girl who is from Finland but she was incredible and not judge mental at all. We were shopping in a very high class area full of upscale shops. We weren't dressed appropriately and there was never any judgement from her or from the other women who greeted me. I walked in with an idea in mind and then walked out with a beautiful necklace that I will cherish forever and wear everyday. I am beyond impressed with this Tiffany&Co customer service and will be back when we are in Miami again. I would totally recommend this place to anyone. Also this was my first ever Tiffany&Co piece and they offered me sparkling water. Cannot ask for more. What an amazing store. read more

You can never go wrong with the little blue box! As a Valentine's Day gift I was told to pick out something sweet for myself and I wasn't even aware that there was a Tiffany's in this mall! I've only ever been to two other Tiffany locations one being the fifth avenue location and the other in King of Prussia mall, so this smaller unassuming location was a bit different for me. As soon as you walk in you'll notice the security guard, no surprise, and he was lovely and polite. Then the first section of the store is the big bucks items. Wedding rings. Diamonds. And a private engagement consultation desk. At least I'm pretty sure it is, as that was happening when we walked in. (Mazel Tov random newly engaged couple) Then you can see the more traditional collections, with the leather goods in the center and the men's items and other gifts on the right. The customer service was very pleasant and I tried on maybe 6 necklaces before I picked the one I wanted. The salesman was honest and helpful with all of the options I looked at. I also dropped off two necklaces to be cleaned. While the silver lasts forever, it's always nice to get them nice and sparkly and looking brand new! It costs $15 per item for cleaning and it takes a day or two but it is well worth it. My necklaces look brand spankin new. I only wish the store had a greater stock, since it's a smaller store they have a more limited selection so that was slightly disappointing but the salesman helped me figure out similar items to see how they looked if I was interested in ordering any pieces online. The only thing that I wasn't in love with was that even though they told me my jewelry cleaning would be ready around the next day, no one ever called to confirm the pieces were ready to be picked up. No big deal though because I simply called and asked :) Quick note. The only place I have found in this mall that validates parking is Nordstroms, so if you spend a while browsing it's worth your time to grab a snack at the cafe! read more

I asked the security guard after half an hour of waiting if they were understaffed and he RUDELY told me "no, can't you just tell everyone is busy". I walked to a counter and asked about the Diamonds by the Yard necklaces and the associate immediately told me that it was sold in platinum only. Wrong. How do you not know that your product is available in gold and silver as well? He sent me to another counter though he wasn't busy at all. One of the security guys asked if I had been helped yet. I responded that I had not been helped. Finally, a lady emerged when my phone rang and I commenced to talk on the phone to a friend. Rude, yes, but so is making me wait to be serviced. I've made purchases at Tiffany's in Las Vegas, Atlanta and Chicago. Generally, the presentation is usually better where the sales associate builds value in the jewelry throughout the experience. They provide information about the product as they take it out of the case. None of that happened. The salesperson took the item out the case and announced, "Ithink that looks good on you" after trying it on. It did and it was emotional since this was the design that I wanted so I made the purchase. However, when I got home, I realized that I had no information on the jewelry. When I checked the Tiffany's website, there was no item with the same price as I received. I returned the item 2 days later and will wait until I get to another location where I will receive standard Tiffany service because isn't that you pay for when you shop there? They accepted the refund, no questions asked, which seemed a little weird for Tiffany's not to try to understand the reason for the return and try to resolve it. Had a clasp problem on my beautiful bracelet and the sales associate walked me over with a smile to the customer service desk where I sat down on a marble desk and the gentlemen attended me quickly! This Tiffanys location is really horrible. Located in the middle of beautiful Merrick Park, sounded by Burberry, Neimans, and Gucci it's so odd that this Tiffany's completely lacks customer service. I purchased a bracelet here in December, and the clasp already broke. I took it to customer service in the store and was told that it would take three weeks and I would be paying for a new silver clasps. When I explained that I had bought only a few months ago, the very cold customer service representative said that it was still silver and that I would need to pay for it, despite the fact that they would be keeping the broken clasps ( hence I would not be getting extra silver). I decided to leave and go to the Tiffanys at Boca town center mall, where I normally purchase my Tiffany's jewelry. There the extremely friendly and personable customer service rep said that it would be no problem to replace, sent it out and that it would be sent to my house in two weeks no charge for anything. I have a Tiffany watch that broke because of some hard knocks in sports (I have broken other watches from orher fancy watch makers which I have had to just throw away). The people at the store quickly diagnosed the problem with my watch, sent it to New York for repair, ordered pieces from Switzerland, and kept me well informed about timing. The sales staff are usually clueless as to the price and location of items, and all of the items they give you to try on are in terrible condition. One necklace even had coffee stains on it. And forget about their customer service. It's as if the DMV has begun to sell jewelry. The staff are rude and incompetent, and the store itself has a very limited selection of jewelry. This store is a joke. In fact, once I walked in and was blocked by an obese mother taking pictures of her daughter (dressed as Audrey Hepburn) in front of their Christmas tree. I was told by her mother to wait because "they were for her birthday party." NOT acceptable. The staff said nothing. This establishment is not for photo-shoots. It besmirches Tiffany's good name and needs a major work-over to be brought up to Tiffany standard. read more

Horrible experience!!! My husband bought me the Infinity Cuff as a wedding present and within 4 short months the cuff broke in half. I have a small wrist so it was easy to put on and off and definitely did not break as a result of my use. We took it to the store thinking they would provide a replacement - because of the Tiffany brand we didn't think it would be much of a hassle. When we arrived at the store they informed us that because it had been over 30 days they are no longer allowed to provide a replacement and are required to send it to the repair department for further review. Thinking the product would come back faulty as the bracelet broke in the simplest manner of just putting it on, we agreed. Not long after the Tiffany's representative from the Coral Gables store called us and informed us that the bracelet was not faulty and broke due to wear and tear. We would therefore be required to pay $130 on top of the $400 already spent on the bracelet for something that should "be worn every day" as the Tiffany website states. I never would have thought this situation would be handled so poorly by a Company with such a high reputation. read more
