Meh. I wish this was a nice spot. It is in such a beautiful location but it's just a confusing concept. This place place struggles with wanting to be authentic to trying to impress the new age group. The menu has a lot of Tex Mex new age items added with a mixed field green salad, which was starting to turn. The chips were hard and the red table salsa tasted more like AA canned spaghetti sauce. The Chile Relleno tasted freezer burnt with not much more flavor other than that. We sat on the quaint patio between the buildings in the most perfect weather but when our food came so did the flies. I ordered the breaded chicken with rice and beans. My wife ordered the 2 taco, rice and beans. Unfortunately this was not the case. My chicken was okay, bland but ok. My pants meal was the same. No taste. Manager, I think, came by once or twice but never asked us a question or acknowledged us. That was weird. We have two restaurants that are better in our minds. So, in a nut shell. Ordered seafood nachos and they were good. I ordered delivery and my order was delayed an additional hour so my food was not hot when it arrived. The chips were stale as well. This restaurant is a welcome addition to downtown Hampton. The food was good and great customer service. My favorite was the frozen mango margarita. I enjoyed the cheese and beef dip. I also ordered beef enchiladas and they were just ok. They have an extensive menu so I will definitely be back to try some other entrees. read more

If you want sit down Mexican food with full service this is the best place is the county. Bar none. I need to come back to explore the menu more, and trust me I will. I don't live in Hampton so it may be a while. When I do go back I will give this review an update to hopefully flesh out the menu more. For example, I didn't try the cheese dip which is now a must. I did get the steak adobocada ( I may be spelling that wrong ). I'm fairly certain that its a thinly cut flank steak seasoned with the best seasoning mix I've ever had on a flank steak. That about sums it up. The thing is awesome. I could eat it for days. The fish tacos my wife had were really good too. They know their menu well. I do with the salsa that comes out before the meal had a bit more of a kick but it was good. The wait staff was excellent and the food hit the table with blazing speed. The decor is amazing. Bottom line: This is the best sit down Mexican food in Henry County. They have unique dishes that other places don't have and they're bold enough to change things to avoid the copied recipes that are at every other Mexican joint in the area. The service is spot on. Took my grandma , mom , and aunt out for Mother's Day and was truly embarrassed for the employee who had the comment "where are all of these Mexicans coming from " as if she wasn't working in a Mexican restaurant. The food was great but unfortunately that was about it. I came tonight on a Tuesday and it took 15 minutes for my party of 2 be seated. Finally someone came to the front but didn't greet us, instead went to the cash register. I had to ask her was she the person to seat us and she said she didn't know, I also asked her was there a fee to play the for the cash pot in trivia she didn't know, and I asked her what the specials were for tonight and you guessed it...she didn't know. She came back after cashing out her table and said she'd seat us anyway. The waitress came, took our order but it took a while since she didn't understand a lot of English which is fine because she was very nice. It did take her a while to cash us out but that was it. I'm big on service so that's the reason for my 2 stars, it could have been 5 since the food was still good. read more

The food is pretty good, not over seasoned, it came out very hot and super fast. The only thing that I feel is holding this place back is customer service. It's not the worst customer service I've had but it needs some improvements. Just be a little more friendly and attentive to the customers needs. First time making a review, I've never done one. Took my mom for Mexican Mothers Day, and she loved it. She kept saying "We gotta bring your Aunt and Uncle!" My siblings enjoyed their Burritos and Fajita Nachos, they ate it all. Molcajate my mom ordered was more than what my mom expected, so glad she liked it. So as a family, I reccomend it 100%. Nice looking exterior, was promptly seated. Ordered my drink before sitting down which felt rushed.. I asked for water and lemon. In 2 minutes got a glass full of water, chips and salsa. Salsa recipe was mediocre but chips were warm so that was good. I decided to order quest then.. so I ordered their cheese dip. Most watered down cheese dip I have ever had. Still no lemons so I requested them again. Finally got them. 8 minutes or so later got the Baja Shrimp, pictured. Veggies were great, garlic bread not garlic enough (but why is that even there?), shrimp was spicy like I asked but salty as well and the rice was ok. I'll be back but not often. read more

If you know what Mexican Cuisine should actually taste like this place is awesome and food is well prepared with love! A lot less Tex-Méx than most places here in Georgia and that's why we love it. I am giving this place 3 stars solely for the food because the service was awful. Food was amazing though, from my margarita to the Tacos al Pastor to the Tres Leches for dessert. Service was definitely lacking. Never got my water I asked for, nor my extra chips and salsa. We were stuck between two servers and after the food came out, didn't see either one (thankfully, the food was delish). Maybe I will order takeout next time so I don't have to deal with the awful service but I can enjoy the delicious food. read more
