This is such a cute spot in downtown Hampton. The outside calls you inside, and once you're inside, it doesn't disappoint. The interior is unique and pretty, with statues, vases, and pictures. I also like the sitting area; it has two sides, and you can sit at a table or a booth. The hostess explained there was a choice of buffet style or we could order from the menu. I chose the buffet, and was happy I did. I tried the chicken, fish, tacos, rice, quesadillas, and fajitas. It was a buffet of many good choices. I went for second helpings, which should tell you the food was really good and hot. If I had a favorite, it would definitely be everything. I will leave you with this: even though you're full, don't skip out on the banana pudding. read more

Tierra Mia - Skewers and fries - Mexican Near Me - Hampton, Georgia

Tierra Mia is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in the area. The enchiladas are my favorite and my mama loves their fajitas. The service is great and the entire staff is friendly and attentive. read more

We love it because it's close. It's an interesting combination of options because it's now Italian and Mexican fare. They do both pretty well! read more

The food was delicious! Looking forward to coming back to try other dishes! The Fiesta Shrimp Taco was so so so good! 100%recommend!

Mexican/Italian, kind of an odd combination. BUT, the food is very good; I love the variety; and the service has always been excellent. This has become our go to restaurant in the area. This may not be a five star restaurant on Atlanta, but it is for us in the area. read more

We had the shrimp taco which was very good. The staff is friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere feels authentic. read more

My first time here, my husband had a burrito that was really big with steak in it and it was excellent. I chose to try a combo that had a Barito with shredded beef and a tamale. Both were very, very good. The salsa and chips were plentiful and very tasty. We shall return! read more

For our party of six, we experienced difficulty with three of our orders. One member ordered french fries, which the waiter repeated when writing down his order. He was brought rice instead of fries. After four orders were delivered, two of ours were delayed. The waiter checked to see if everything was okay. We reminded him of our orders. I ordered the quesadilla meal (grilled chicken). As advertised on the menu, it comes with lettuce, tomatoes, guacamole, and I believe rice, and refried beans. When my order arrived, it was only the grilled chicken quesadilla, so I inquired about the rest of the meal. The water promptly brought everything but the guacamole. When I asked about it, I was told it didn't come with the meal and had to be ordered separately, but that he would get it for me. I told him to check the menu. Overall, the restaurant does have good food, very clean, with polite and courteous employees. If not for the issues experienced with the orders, I would have given Five Stars. read more

Great friendly people working here. Good food, friendly and affordable food. The alcohol prices are a little high but they have sells on the margaritas. read more

My family loves the food here and we can find something for everyone. The atmosphere is beautifully vibrant with a coziness to the booth seating. They have a really pretty outdoor seating area as well with ambient lighting and fans to keep you cool. Their drinks are so yummy and the food is absolutely delicious and authentic. read more

The customer service needs improvement. The quality of food isn't the best! I have eaten some great Mexican food before, at other restaurants. I ordered takeout, food was warm, not hot. The female waiter wasn't very friendly at all, when I approached her about the status of my order. She seemed bothered, perhaps somewhat racist. read more

Basic flavor and dishes. Good for a quick meal not a main choice for the Hampton area.

I stopped into this very nice Mexican restaurant one Friday afternoon for a late lunch and was very impressed with it. They are located in the quintessential Southern town of Hampton in a very quaint square. I was greated warmly upon entering. It was not a very busy time for the restaurant so I was seated immediately and served. The chips and salsa were good and classic for a Mexican restaurant. I ordered the Burrito Deluxe for dinner which comes with rice and also one beef and one chicken burrito. They were so good! I ate all of it, and I highly recommend it. I got a side of re-fried beans which were delicious as well. They also have an assortment of fresh cakes that are prepared there everyday. Given my penchant for lemon-flavored things, I had to have the lemon cake. It was so, so delicious. I loved it! I love the elegant decor of the restaurant and the hospitality that is experience upon entering almost immediately. They truly add a five-start feel to downtown Hampton, Georgia. I highly recommend them for a truly authentic and upscale Mexican feel in the cradle of Southern comfort and quaintness on the ATL South Side. Parking is ample and on the street. You will not be disappointed! Bravo! read more

This quaint spot is located in downtown Hampton. Ive been here a few times and thw food is always good, not to mention their bomb margaritas. At last visit we ordered the enchiladas supreme, the fish tacos and a tamale & enchilada combo. This food is so good it puts me in a food coma every time; not sure if I'm full or just tipsy read more

What an adorable place to eat when you all can't decide between mexican or Italian; here you can have both! Even given a tray of nachos with salsa (had heat to it which I love) and warm bread with balsamic/olive oil. I had the alfredo, which is authentic, as in not with the heavy cream sauce but true Italian with butter and parmesean. My cousin had the bolognese spaghetti and she said it was delicious! Next time I'm in town, I'm coming back! read more

terrible customer service. food is not the best in the area and ambiance is not welcoming or genuine in nature.

I had a really good experience here. Stopped in in a Friday at lunch and had attentive service. Had the enchiladas and they were really good, as were the chips and salsa! Such a cute little place on the inside. Will definitely be back! read more

I ordered two entrees to go. When I got home, one was incorrect and the other was too salty to eat. We had not been to this restaurant in a while and this experience does not prompt us to return. read more

Stopped in for dinner and was delighted by the chips and salsa to start with. The salsa reminded me of Arizona where I'm from. The chips were pleasantly warm. Ordered Birria tacos which were 3 tacos with consume and a different green salsa. Hubby had 3 fish tacos which he ate up quickly and enjoyed. I got a swirl margarita which was regular margarita and strawberry sauce it was yummy. We got what I thought were appetizer size mini shredded roast beef and bean chimichangas and some quesadillas and rice to go. The chimichangas where not small but half size and delicious. Cheese quesadilla had a ton of cheese at least enough for 2. My 7 year old loved the chips and salsa too, read more

I had a special Italian item. They serve Italian and Mexican food. The chicken Toscanna was excellent, chicken breast with marscapone cheese porcinni mushroom sauce, and I had a side of potatoes that are cooked very well and are soft throughout. Also had a side Caesar salad which has a nice dressing and crisp bread crumbs. My partner had a Mexican dish on the menu-pork chops which were also delicious as I tasted the sauce only. Highly recommended! read more

Okay, let's go. I order from this place via door dash; I along with my family have support this place since being in the Hampton location. When the door dasher got here, w/out opening the bag I saw hard shell tacos; however, I order soft shell. The door dasher looked up my order and she saw what I order; however, she stated they say it was correct. I call them while she was here to advised that my order was incorrect; I told them she was still at my home to and I was returning the meal for a replacement. The gentlemen that answered looked at my ticket and saw what I order. He asked me how long would she be and I advised about 7 to 10 minutes. Well, it's 1 hour later (this place is literally 10 minutes away); and the door dasher has not shown up with my replacement food and Tierra Mia will now not answer my phone call (called once). I texted the door dasher twice and she didn't return my text. Don't fret, I'm not going to sweat about. I will not be supporting your restaurant ever again and I have block that door dasher. You know the last time I was in their with a friend, you had a workers dancing on the table (but I digress). Now, up until today I have never experience a bad door dasher; and I was going to give this young lady an extra tip for her having to go back. However, she closed out the ticket; as though I received my food (in my eyes, that stealing). Tierra Mia, you could have call back and stated that she didn't pick up my replacement food; well, I guess she was hungry, so she got a free meal today). This has left a bad taste in my mouth; very unprofessional, not customer service friendly, and lost revenues for your business. This post-COVID has a lot of you businesses and people messed up. read more

Lunch was amazing! We started with guacamole. It's great! I had the Birra Tacos and Heidi had the Aztec Chicken. I asked for spicy sauce with my tacos and it was amazing! It is such a clean restaurant. Not loud. Unique menu choices and not salty like most Mexican restaurants. read more

Food was good until management from other restaurant came over & when we remarked about something she insinuated we were lying. That was the same reason we stopped going the Aztec one. Told her my food was cold, went & warmed it up brought it back & my guest started theirs had gotten cold she said it couldn't have it was sitting under the heating lamp. Will never return to either b/c of the owner/manager whomever she is was very rude, argumentative & acted as if she & the food were all that. Sorry but I have since had sooooooooo much better with superb service. I know i am just 1 person but hey that's how it how it starts. read more

Had this Mexican restaurant on my to-do list and I am so glad I did. The decor reminded me of restaurants in Mexico ... so I was hoping the food was just as authentic. It did not disappoint. Of course at all Mexican restaurants you receive chips and salsa that are hit or miss at best, but babyyyy we almost asked for another basket the way we ran thru the chips and salsa because it was so good. We ordered the chorizo and bacon fries appetizer and I did not think I would enjoy it, but surprisingly I did. It was salty, cheesy and filling and a must try if you like a good carb. Unfortunately, my bf wanted to be like me and ordered the same thing lol...the seafood nachos. It was everything!! Get it! I love the menu because it allowed me to order a La carte items too... so I ordered me a chicken enchilada with the red sauce and babyyyy... that's up next when I return. Thankfully, it's not far from where I live .. so I'll be back for a mid day lunch because the lunch menu was vast and nicely priced. Ya know we're in a recession.. so if you want to keep close eye of ya coin... lunch is a good idea (although their moderately priced anyway). The food was so good.. I am overlooking that 83 sanitation grade (which is SUPER RARE FOR Me) I just saw when I decided to do this review, but that's the reason I didn't give 5 stars. Get that grade up! read more

Great food, always fresh. Excellent service by people who take the time to get to know their regulars.

Worst food ever. We got take out twice, and I couldn't believe how badly they messed up Mexican food. Sad.

Found this place on Google and I can't express how delicious everything was!! We ordered the Azteca Chicken and the Shrimp and Chicken plate (not sure if that was the actual name of the entree). Nevertheless, the food was fantastic, the drinks - hibiscus margaritas- were more than delicious and they come in 2 sizes!! The wait staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Matter of fact we were served by the owner of this cute little eatery on Main Street. If you're in Hampton , do yourself a favor and stop by!! read more

This use to be my go to Mexican Restaurant. Usually the food is full of flavor. This time around the food was tasteless. I ordered the pork tacos which came with refried beans and rice. The pork was overcooked to the point that it was hard. The beans had no flavor. read more

Visited this hidden wonder after seeing it was the closest restaurant on Local Flavors... although the coupon didn't work (human error) we enjoyed ourselves immensely! The drinks did not spare any alcohol at all! The food was great on flavor but sparing on the rice/beans‍ We enjoyed it so much that we revisited two days later. Each time our servers were great!
