Yay! We have a T&T in Lynnwood. We became a fan of T&T when we stayed in Vancouver. Our main…read moreattraction was the hot food buffet station since shopping here always meant, yummy food at the end. My 5 year old really enjoys many of their hot food staples. The T&T in Lynnwood doesn't disappoint at all. While it is smaller than the Factoria location, we do not personally have any complaints. The place is not always packed like the Factoria location and that is a a relief. We primarily use the food & bakery sections, live fish, and frozen food sections. One can say they are a bit pricier in comparison to places like Ranch Market who have similar options but we T&T is closer to us than Ranch Market and so we prefer to go here as it is more convenient. They are special items during Boat Festival every year and we absolutely love the bun station during this time. This is also a great place to experiment with a lot of not usually found Asian alcohol in main stream supermarkets unless you are specially going to a specialty shop.

After a few bites of food, I tossed the rest because it was so unpleasant. Orange chicken, sweet and sour pork, ribs, what could go wrong? I don't know how it goes wrong, but the food is always gristly, dry and bland. The prices do not match the flavour. Prices are high, flavour is low. In addition, I have never had a staff person say hello or thank you, rarely even an acknowledgement that I am there. During my last visit I asked a gentleman if he knew if they had a particular item and he said "what we have in the store". Oh ok, thanks.

After making a trek to another Eastern European market down in Tacoma the day before, now it was time to visit European Grocery in Everett on 3/2/25. Pro tip: Don't be intimidated by the stoic, standoffish staff at the deli counter or the register. Enjoy the culinary experience wandering their grocery aisles and remember your shopping bag(s) to package up your purchases. Because I had also stocked up at the other market in Tacoma, I noticed similarities in the product availability. However, I was able to find other things of interest especially in the smoked meats, condiments, chocolates, and biscuits areas. I enjoyed looking closely at their wine and spirits section...unique labels I would not find at my usual Ravenna wine shop in Seattle. Thanks to Heather, fellow Yelp Elite, for putting European Grocery on my radar screen!

My family and I have not experienced anything close to that at this store. Both the men and women were very helpful, let me admire their produce and culture (even let me take pictures and videos) & eagerly answered the few questions I did have. We had such an enjoyable experience that we came back the next day to buy more food & sweet treats. In regard to the ambiance, this grocery store isn't the biggest by any means. It's about the size of a NY bodega/convenience store, so don't expect to be able to find any and everything you usually can at other places. However their produce is fresh & all the meat, cheese and dessert products we have tried were all very good (certainly much healthier than the preservative and filler packed foods you'll find at your local WalMart, QFC, etc). I thoroughly enjoyed my first European market experience & can't wait to come back, as well as visit other stores.

The street was on the narrow side with parking on both sides of the street. I parked in some of the angled parking across from the address of Pueblo Viejo. There was a large truck between where I parked and where my Apple Maps app had indicated the store was located. Making my way to the closest crosswalk, I crossed the road and found that yes, the store was behind the truck. A banner clearly marked the store front, and the entrance was easy to spot. Upon entering the store, I decided to stop and take a picture. Once I took the picture, I realized there was a woman behind the front counter watching me and I said hello. Looking around, there was a variety of offerings. My dad has been experimenting with different breakfast recipes from different cuisines and I spotted some ingredients he might find fun. However, what engulfed the majority of my attention was the array of bakery items. Trays were available to one side of the baked goods cases along with tongs. Friendly and helpful workers helped me figure out that I got a bag for the items at payment. I went with a pink pan dulce and what ended up tasting and looking to me like a pineapple empanada of sorts. Neither item was too sweet, and both had flavor and texture true to what it was. Together they made for a good sweet tooth fix. The price for both items with tax was $2.10 and cash payment was accepted. The woman who took me through the payment process was the same one sitting behind the counter when I took the picture when I entered the store. She was warm and friendly in our interactions.
