"Due to circumstances beyond our control, it is with great regret I must inform you that Spotless New England will no longer be able to honor the cleaning you have purchased through Buy With Me." This really annoyed me as it was so gutless. It is precisely in their control to decide to renege on a deal. "Spotless New England is still available to come to your home and provide you a quote for a cleaning and schedule a time for a non-promotional cleaning now if you would like." Again this was just insulting.

I was really disappointed, especially after reading all of the other positive reviews here. Nick…read morewas nice at the estimate stage, which was done in-person after a walk-through of my place. Different story once he thought he had the business from me. I wanted to be home for the first cleaning or two. He was 45 minutes late, and ended up doing a pretty rushed job because I had to leave. Thorough cleaning on what was cleaned by his assistant. Even though he was late, he blamed it on me and actually ridiculed me for what he deemed to be too much clutter (specifically, things on shelves and stored under the bed). He had just done the in-person estimate the week before, so even if my place wasn't decorated to his personal taste it certainly wasn't different. But I was in a pinch, chalked this up to a bad day (for me or them or both), and tried again. I clarified the day, time, duration, and availability with him prior to the next cleaning. The next time, he was over an hour late, cleaned for 10-15 minutes, and charged the same amount. Really annoying, and a total ripoff. Nick uses Google calendar for scheduling. This sounds like a good idea, but he changed the day of the cleaning without checking that I was actually available. I emailed him to clarify and change the day to something that worked for both of us. The first time, I altered my schedule to be there. The 2nd time, he never responded to emails asking to change the day/time, except finally in a text message the day before to say that he was too busy doing a new estimate. For me, it's just not worth the time and hassle. Definitely would not recommend -- rude, unreliable, shoddy work, and massively disorganized.

Literally had the worst experience with them that I had to create a yelp account just to write this. Me and my roommate received a promotional card that said "25 dollar cleanings!". We have a very small apartment and we only wanted 3 tiny rooms cleaned as a one-time thing so we could start the month off fresh. As soon as the cleaner arrived I knew we had made a mistake. She brought her ~10 year old daughter with her, and said her daughter doesn't understand english and that she had trouble communicating herself, WHICH WOULD HAVE BEEN FINE if not for what happened after, but it was honestly horrible & weird watching a little girl mop, anyway, about 45 minutes in, the mother handed me a cell phone and apparently it was her boss telling me the bill I received on the app was not correct and 70 dollars needed to be added to it since it was our first cleaning. I was extremely confused and asked her to further explain but she just repeated it and said, "don't worry it's a one time thing". Then the cleaner herself started saying the same thing repeatedly as I looked at her confused. How was I suppose to say "Okay no!" and kick these people out of the house after 45 minutes????? I planned to call back to at least understand the extra charge, but I would NOT have been writing this review if there was just that charge and no other issues. The mother and daughter left an hour later, the place was only cleaned on the surface, (floors were washed, counters were wiped, that's about it) I would have been unsatisfied regardless, but for the fact that I ended up being charged ~180 (I really thought it was going to be ~85) for 3 rooms you can hardly even spread your arms in is ridiculous. (The kitchen is 1/4 of the living-room, the bathroom is a short hallway w a toilet, and my bedroom is a small boston college apartment bedroom :,( ) The worst part so far is that I called to ask about the fee and possibly fight it only to find out that we are FORCED to have 3 more of these overpriced and suspicious cleanings. Zyp has been messaging me for months now brining up that the next cleaning is coming and I have to keep calling, asking to speak to a manager, and putting off these overpriced and unprofessional cleanings. I got a text at 11 pm last night asking if I was "ready to resume my cleaning for tomorrow". The whole thing is a nightmare. Stay away!!!

When I called to complain and ask for a refund, their customer service said they couldn't refund but could send a cleaner to deliver the service I ordered in the first place, with no extra charges. If I hadn't checked my credit card records, I probably wouldn't even notice this second charge. Their customer service was really hard to communicate with as well. So if possible, don't choose this company. If you choose to work with these people, be very careful and double check how much and how many times they charge you.
