The home owner will have to be the accountant with several phone calls from Glen, the GC, asking how much $ is left every few weeks- wanting the final draw BEFORE completion of work. Did not accurately draw up the discussed vaulted ceiling so paid extra $ due to incorrect blueprints; the "maintenance free" screened porch had numerous pine knot stains over every wall come through within 1 month of completion...which is ongoing maintenence! The interior windows were incorrectly installed in the wrong color causing delay for correct custom windows to arrive. Interior doors installed without door frames as well as drywall finish look hideous. Home owner had to fix door knobs. They promised a final cleaning which did not happen. GC referred to the home owners' wife as a b**** to other subcontractors. Communication so poor GC requested subcontractors to discuss matters with us, the home owners, as to smooth out tensions. Many of these subcontractors were wonderful, respectful and professional and clearly not connected to SkyBrynnes business tactics. Abruptly GC's wife "took over" in her words through email correspondence with a lecture on how "we as customers are to behave going forward." We noted at initial introductions of future construction plans in the home; so there was great potential of this company acquiring future work of a laundry room addition; a full bathroom and office space addition and 2 bathroom remodels. We have built 2 homes, hired many different contractors that we gave returning business for large jobs in 5 different homes and have never experienced this level of unprofessionalism.

Gaps, no flashing at the chimney, shingles that didn't reach the gutter, etc. I contacted Skye-Brynn about their 10 year warranty on proper installation and asked them to take a look at the roof to verify that they may have been responsible for the leaking. To my knowledge, they never even went and looked at the roof. Just stoped communicating with me. I ended up having to pay someone to repair the damage (due to improper installation) 2 weeks later because I couldn't get anyone from Skye-Brynn to talk to me. Beware. They did a poor installation job and then refused to stand by their work when their poor installation resulted in a leaky roof.

I dreaded having to find a reputable company I could trust. After getting 5 quotes and speaking to each company, I chose United Roofing and was very glad I did. Nathan the sales representative, was extremely professional and explained who they were and their commitment to the customer. While many companies claim this, I found United to be totally customer focused and honest. They walked the talk. Their team was very professional and were did an outstanding job when replacing the roof. They went above and beyond to make it right. The supervisor on site, Dean, communicated with me with what he saw and what he was doing throughout the entire process. Upon completion, the team did an outstanding job of cleanup so that I didn't need to worry about a thing. United does high-quality work, is very easy to work with and a very customer focused company. I would highly recommend them for your roofing needs. I was 100% happy.

United Roofing has been a godsend, blessing, all that, the bomb, and more. One of my goals for 2022…read morewas to get a new roof. I got several quotes from some of the top roofing companies in the area and United Roofing beat the competition. Not only did they beat competitor's pricing, I ended up getting so much more for my money than what any of the competitors offered. I was also sold on the type of nails they use surprisingly. Lol As a single mom, I was initially feeling anxiety and hesitant in moving forward since the work is such a huge investment. The owner was respectful, actively listened, didn't interrupt, was completely understanding, & presented the pros and cons. Not once was I criticized or pressured into making a decision like other companies used as their sales tactics. Instead, I was presented with all of the data, my multitude of questions were answered, and I was empowered to make a relational sound decision. I easily could have walked away prior to signing the contract. I ended up with a new roof, Board and Batten siding, soffits(didn't know what they were until now), trim, gutters, & new porch rails. Also, I was able to get rid of the old 1960's side vents and replaced with hidden vents. Who would have thought little things would make such a huge difference! No regrets and I am so happy with this investment! The entire process was handled professionally. United Roofing went above and beyond to make things not only right, but the way I wanted them to be as well as provide their honest opinion. Not once did the company over promise and under deliver. I felt like I was always in the know during every step of the process. United Roofing has the best team and the entire project was like a well orchestrated symphony. They got the job done as well as cleaned up well. I highly recommend United Roofing for any roofing, gutter, trim, soffit & even porch rail needs. A HUGE THANK YOU to the United Roofing team!!

Colony and another company had someone over the next day, but Colony was MUCH better than the other in many ways. Their sales manager really gave me a very clear picture of what options were to repair and ultimately replace my roof, whereas the other company really pushed hard for me to buy the most expensive replacement possible - quite a bit more expensive than Colony. The president of Colony called me later that night to see if I had any more questions (I really didn't) - I went with them just as COVID was starting but they were able to quickly get me on their schedule. Their crew was excellent and did a full roof replacement in two days, with guttering a few weeks later once the particular color was available. All the work was good, with a courteous crew that cleaned up the site very well. My neighbors noted how good my house looked (it was pretty good before, I think) and asked for information about the company. What really impressed me, though, is that the company came out and did some quick repairs before the main job at no charge to keep any more water from coming in and then also did follow-up work to repair interior damage at a very reasonable price. I'm planning to do some renovation work done and certainly plan to work with the company. Really a good experience in all respects!
