I had a zipper replaced on a jacket. I got the notice that it had been delivered. No notice of locker # or pin # to open locker. I have called the West End office 3 times and no answer. I sent an email to the poc who said he would check with the delivery driver. Called Saturday morning when hours said open to follow up, phone continues to ring. This USED to be fantastic service. Now it's awful. Update, Tide called back and asked for a description of the coat. I even sent them a picture of the coat so they could look for it. Tide called back around 5:30 and said they'd found the coat and WOULD I still like the repair. They've had the coat for over 6 weeks to replace a zipper and haven't EVEN ordered the zipper. I used the delivery service for wash & fold + dry cleaning. I placed the dry cleaning in a separate bag and selected for them to be picked up on Monday and dropped off Wednesday. By Thursday, after a phone call, I realized they misplaced my items. They found them and delivered them Friday and washed and folded both bags, including the dry cleaning (including sweaters and sport coats) that all had labels saying Dry Clean Only. The wash and fold was almost all folded inside out (so I had to refold) and not sorted in the least, not even the socks were together. They offered no refund, only to dry clean the dry cleaning they washed. For a company that aims to make your life easier, they've sure accomplished the opposite. Agree with other posts that this is a very basic cleaning service. While traditional cleaners take great care with collars and even small things like making sure inventory tags are straight and positioned correctly this locker service is a get it clean and get it back racked concept. Little attention to detail but still the "menu" prices are very high. They get clothes clean yes but the little attention to detail and love is not a priority. Tide Cleaners collaborates with apartments in Nashville to provide services for residents. It would seem like a great collaboration if they actually did what they said they would do. I submitted a comforter to be washed. The comforter came back with more stains than it had when I sent it. It was also filled with long strains of black hair. My hair is chopped short so I have no idea whose hair was folded into my comforter. It's like they didn't even try. A 1-star is too generous. I contacted the Tide about it and they refused to refund any amount of the money I paid them. I would suggest going to a local cleaners instead. read more

The washing machine in my Air BnB apt went out so I decided to give the lockers a try. Put the bag in the locker for Monday 8 am pick up. they never picked up. checked the app and the pick up was changed to Wednesday without ever notifying me. this would then mean that the drop off was moved to Friday from Wednesday. I've tried calling but it just goes to a voice message system. the chat function on the app doesn't work. I wouldn't be surprised if this just went out of business and they never removed the lockers at this point. read more

Ruined Two Pairs of Shoes! I was told adding a protective rubber layer to my leather-soled shoes would take 3 business days. Three weeks and multiple inquiries later, I picked up my almost brand new shoes a horrible condition!! One pair now has both toe points extremely bent and when they replaced the heel cap, which was just halfway worn down, they completely screwed up the heel covering and didn't even bother trying to fix it! My other pair was apparently freshly scuffed when they trimmed the sole covers to size. I contacted Pressbox and sent them pictures. All they offered me was to have them "fixed" again - as if... I've had close to 6 dress shirts, that I've bought in the the last six months, ruined because of the lack of care and quality. The problem usually deals with the collar and the lack of care there. On top of this, I had one shirt ripped when I got it back from Tide. I wanted to like this place so much that I put in the instructions to "please take better care," but somehow it got worse after that ask. You might have one or two good orders, but they inevetably ruin a piece of clothing and then you have to go thru the whole process of getting it replaced after they try to unshrink things or get a stain out that they put in. Growing list of clothing that they have ruined: two pairs of dress slacks (machined washed and ripped holes in), three button down shirts (washed on high heat and shrunk significantly), sweater (washed on hot instead of dry cleaning, shrunk). I'm updating my last review. Since posting it, someone finally reached out and helped me. They said my items had most likely been returned to someone else, but if I bought new items, they would reimburse me. While this was still frustrating, as I liked the items I had and could not get exact replacements anymore, it at least solved the problem. I received and deposited the check they sent this morning. I'm probably going to try them again, but only with my pet blankets, and only after taking pictures of every item I give them prior to dropping them off. Stay tuned. This company is terrible. They seriously have the worst customer service ever. I have used them once and can't get my clothes out because the code they sent me doesn't work. When I reached out to them they only have a voicemail that says if it's important to email them otherwise leave a message and Ithey will get back to you in 24 hours. I left a voicemail and no response. I emailed them and I get a response saying that they will be in touch within 24 hours. In this day and age that just isn't acceptable. They suck. Never ever use this service. I have used them three times now. The first time it was great! It was quick and everything I had hoped for. Then the second time. They lost an item. Not the biggest deal because after about 24 hours of messaging they found it. They claim that they do quality check but. I don't get how hey claimed to have 8 items in my bag when there were only 7. And then the most recent time. They gave me someone else's item. That looked noting like mine. They claimed they will try to find it (I'm assuming someone else has it) but so far nothing. Not only that, but I went to put on a sweater and it has a stain on it. It went from just being dirty to actual ruining now from them using it. Save yourself and your clothes and never use this company. Update: The $200 shirt That they lost has officially been ruled as unable to find. Their only options for reimbursement are 10x the price of the one item to get dry cleaned (it was only 4.50) so a total of 40.50 or $150 towards their cleaning services. Have dry cleaned and pressed my shirts and pants a few times and been right on the 2 day turnaround

I have used them twice, conveniently because they are located in my residential building.. I sent a $350 quilt to be dry cleaned and received it back with a highlighter marker exploded all over the back of it - not how I dropped it off. It was cleaner when I gave it to them than when I received it. I emailed them right away and a week later it was brought to my attention that the stain could not be removed. They sent me a check for $250 even though the quilt was brand new and $100 more than that. Not using this service again. read more

Unprofessional, lack of communication, incompetent, poor service. Long story short, Pressbox lost my custom-made suit from Hong Kong. I was only able to communicate with them via emails and voicemails. They never returned my voicemails and each email response took 24 hours wait time. It took them 2 weeks to finally find my suit, they did not escalate and prioritize my issue. I couldn't wear my suit for a special event because it was still missing. In addition, my dress shirts that I dry cleaned had creases and wrinkles on them. I will never use them again and furthermore will go out of my way to negatively comment on my experience to potential customers. Don't let convenience win, stay far away from Pressbox and go to a local shop. read more

I have lived in the same building in downtown Nashville for over 10 years. During that time, I have tried a variety of dry cleaners. One was destroyed by the 2010 flood. Another lost their lease because their building was torn down to build a hotel. Another quit coming and would not even respond to my messages. Finally, there is a convenient (drop off in building), reasonably priced service, with excellent customer service. I was reluctant to try Pressbox at first, but I have been very pleased that I did. Love the convenience of the service. The turnaround time is great! The prices are comparable with other cleaners. Even when doing alterations. The only complaint that I have is that when having an alternation done, they will automatically charge you a cleaning fee. One day I was told they were in locker 774 when I checked I found 3 empty hangers, they I was told they were with the driver and they were not now I was sent a 2 second best video and they are saying they only got one item conveniently now that they can't find my clothing. Total scam. They told me there was nothing else they could do for me at this time because they do not know where my clothing is and stopped responding to my emails.
