Reliable, Professional, and Worth the Distance! I'm now a…read morerepeat customer with O'Brien Services, and for good reason! I first used them for junk removal at my Hancock Pond property in Summer 2024. What impressed me most was their willingness to travel to our location - not many companies will make the trip out to Hancock Pond, but O'Brien Services showed up exactly on time. Their team was professional from start to finish and got the job done efficiently. No fuss, no delays, just quality work. This year, I hired them again for another project. Once again, they arrived punctually despite having to travel a considerable distance. The same high level of professionalism and efficiency I experienced the first time around. I will absolutely be hiring O'Brien Services again. It's rare to find a company that consistently delivers on their promises, especially one willing to service more remote locations. If you're looking for dependable junk removal services, I highly recommend giving them a call. Pros: * Always on time * Professional service * Efficient work * Willing to travel to remote locations * Consistent quality across multiple visits

Well some places on private roads still don't have USPS service...and I was staying at one. What to do? Call the local USPS office and ask if they can hold the package there for you to pick up. No worries. Called in, showed up the next morning (had to wait until it came back on the truck) and picked up my package. Excellent phone and in person service! Parking was easy in their decent size parking lot.

I was able to reach their on call and get emergency oil delivered, the fuel was reasonably priced and the service fee was worth not having to wait an extra week or week and a half without heat like other companies quoted. The gentleman that owns the company came late on Saturday night and refilled our oil, and helped us bleed the system to restart it. He was friendly, efficient, and made sure we were good to go before taking off. Overall, great experience and our family is thankful for their emergency service!

DO NOT EVEN THINK OF SENDING YOUR DRY CLEANING TO THESE DISREPUTABLE, INCOMPETENT, WOULD-BE DRY…read moreCLEANERS. After a major move, I dropped off a new suit and an overcoat at sister laundry mat/dry cleaners, Bangor Street Laundromat, 56 Western Ave., Augusta, ME. From there, it was then sent to John's Green Cleaners, 355 Main St, Lewiston, ME 04240. A week later, John's returned my black suit and overcoat to Bangor Street Laundromat where I discovered that both items were severely heat-damaged: the suit in the lapel, waist area, and front and back shoulders; the overcoat was a mass of wrinkles caused by seams that had shrink considerably and totally deformed and diminished each garment. Overzealous or inexperienced pressing had permanently damaged both items. Owner Greg at first responded to a phone call and asked to be given opportunity to correct matters. I sent the damaged items back to John's for a second pressing attempt. A week later, the still-damaged items were miserably the same. Phone calls to Greg's cell and the business went unanswered for at least two weeks. Finally, I wrote an email including the below photo links demanding the filing of a damages claim. Eventually an unknown "John's Cleaner" employee responded to my email by text (unprofessional) and included a photo of theirs still showing the obviously-damaged suit jacket on their presser with warpage all around. Within the text, John's took no responsibility for having damaged both items, provided no means of filing a damage claim, and offered a self-serving resolution: that I subject further articles of clothing to their abuse and receive a one-time 30% discount. Apparently, Greg sees small claims court as the preferred means to resolve damages disputes with his clients. Do yourself a favor: stay away from Bangor Street and all of John's Green Cleaner's affiliates throughout Maine.
