Still unconvinced I made the call. Long story short, Don came over and looked at the job. He gave me an estimate of how many hours it would take. I backed many of my belongings in boxes, Don and his team moved the boxes and several large pieces of furniture. Did I mention he was fast, wow they didn't waste time once on the job. Don charges a reasonable price by the hour and his estimate for me was on target. There was no breakage or damage to any of my belongings and I would use him again in a minute. Don kept in touch with me about schedule changes and ended up getting the job done a little ahead of time. Take a load off your mind and hire Don and his team of dedicated movers. When the cleaner, Nellie arrived, she was multiple hours later from the scheduled start time. The house was left for the cleaning to be done and upon our return no cleaning was done and Nellie was gone. It was a 3 hour window. When we came into the house, we discovered my wife's wedding band was missing, at which point we called the police. Later on we noticed my future brother in laws AirPods were missing as well. This information was relayed to the police and the AirPods were tracked to Nellie's residence. The AirPods were found there. Denise claims that Nellie is an independent contractor and she has no responsibility for her actions. Ultimately it comes down to the caliber of talent hired that a company is judged on and THEFT is a low caliber. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO BE USED BY ANYONE FOR THE THEFT THAT OCCURRED.

Most beds were not made, dog hair everywhere, bathrooms not touched. We took photos and shared with Denise and she apologized and then had the nerve to ask if we would still pay her for the service!!! Later on I realized my airpods were missing. Using findmyiphone I was able to track them and found that they were STOLEN by the cleaner she had come to my house. We got the police involved and had her cleaner arrested. Moving is super stressful and time consuming. I broke down and hired D&J Movers to help my…read moredaughter, my cat, and our fish move from a two bedroom apartment into a three bedroom house. Mind you, it's the middle of winter and the country is in the grips of a global pandemic. I called the guys at D&J and my call was answered by a real person, there was no "Press 1 for this...press 2 for that..." I easily scheduled a weekend appointment-even with the threat of winter storms they were willing to keep an eye on the forecast and stressed their flexibility. He quoted me that a typical move like mine would be about 4 hours. I had packed all that I could into moving boxes. With the exception of furniture. Which, they broke apart AND reassembled perfectly in my new place!!! Score! They arrived promptly on a Saturday morning, they practiced masking and social distancing and you could tell the way the team performed seamlessly that these guys knew what they were doing and they treated my possessions with kid gloves. They went above and beyond during this freezing winter move. With one guy on his knees with a hammer chiseling my frozen BBQ grill from the snow bank that encompassed it! They accept cash and check only -I wished I could have paid with my debit card as I seldom use cash now-a-days. But, that said, the crew waited for me to dash to the ATM up the street, so I paid that way. For me, they charged $130.00 an hour. And it was beyond worth it! They spent 3.5 hours between both places, that included disassembling and reassembling my bed and my daughters bed. These guys know what they are doing. They were quick, professional, approachable and treated my furniture like their own!
