Explosive Bacon Burger and Onion Rings

My husband and I came in for dinner. I got what I believe was called explosive bacon burger, and my husband got a sriracha burger, we both agreed they were so good! I upgraded to onion rings, they were hand breaded in house and very good as well! Super duper good dinner, glad we came!

New management since may of 2023 and they have turnedthings around, new menu, great service, and awesome specials!

A tenderloin with cheese added. Hash browns with cheese and sour cream.

Craving a tenderloin after not having one for 3 1/2 years after moving out East. My Tic Toc experience was great. Tenderloin and hash browns were so good. The cheese sticks do not taste like the old Tic Toc cheese sticks. Completely different batter, not light and airy but still taste good. Great server.

I went to Tic Toc on a Friday night for dinner with my boyfriend to check it out, since neither of us had ever been there, but both of us really wanted to try out the restaurant. When we walked in, we were greeted by staff and seated promptly. We sat at the table inside, but I was delighted to find out that they had patio seating as well. I really liked their indoor décor as well, very modern and neat. Our wait staff was very kind and quick with our service. I ordered a salad and my boyfriend ordered a burger. We agreed that both of our meals were delicious. I only wished they had a better craft beer selection as their selection was mostly domestic beers. Overall, pretty good experience.

Don't get the chicken on your salad unless you making it at home

A couple of us had the tenderloin sandwiches for the main course and it is worth the trip just for these.

Our server greeted us as soon as we walked in and was friendly enough. The food left MUCH to be desired. We ordered a bowl of wild rice soup with a side of the beer battered fries, the Italian sandwich with fries and the fish and chips. Instead of a bowl, a cup came out, which isn't a huge deal and is an easy fix. The soup was extra thick and wasn't heated all the way through. Almost cold in the middle. The Italian sandwich was ok, it contained all of the ingredients listed on the menu, and it was on bread about the size of a hot dog bun. The fish and chips, for $19, was probably the most disappointing. The fish was cooked well and tasted good, but both pieces together was about the same size as one of Gorton's battered fish filets. Given that there were only 3 occupied tables the whole time we were there, I expected more from the kitchen, especially given the price. I give it 2 stars instead of 1 for the server doing her job, and the fries were good. If I go back, it'll be for drinks, definitely not the sub-mediocre food. Note: The photo- Split, so it's on a smaller plate. Notice the size of the piece of fish. This was the size of both pieces. I wish I could say it was an oversized fork.

So the staff is attentive and pleasant. I had a craft root beer (Barn Town Brewery from West Des Moines), that was really good as root beers go. We had appetizer Nachos, which were on Taco flavored Doritos. Nachos were solid but a little light on the beef and cheese sauce for my taste. The Soup, Salad and Breadstick was good and a perfect size for a smaller appetite. My friend had a Midwest BBQ Smash Burger without the bun, he would order it again. I had the Hangover Smash and it was a great bacon cheeseburger - add peanut butter (sounds weird but it was great), an egg, some bacon and smashed tater tots and life is good, with or without the hangover. The Irish decor is a nice touch as this was an Irish pub once upon a time. We enjoyed our meal and we will return, I loved the smash burgers.
