I mistakenly showed up to this hair studio rather than the one with a similar sign, Trends, which is spots farther down the road. When I went in to Tian Du, I said I had a pre-booked appointment for myself, gave my name and the time, and the lady at the desk said "yes ok, just head back there to get started." At the end of the appointment, I realised my mistake when I was asked to pay and when I showed the receipt, they then at that point decided to tell me that the appointment I had pre-booked was for Trends and not Tian Du. I would find it very hard to believe that this wasn't done out of dishonesty, as given they have been next to the other hair salon for probably a while, I doubt this is the first time a mixup happened and they must have known when I specifically said I had a pre-booked appointment. They knowingly withheld the knowledge they had that I was at the wrong place so as to have me pay them, when they knew I had already paid to attend another place. The mistaking of the businesses was not their fault and was my bad, but the dishonesty in withholding that information when they knew I was mistaken so as to have me pay them suggests a business that is not run with integrity. As well, my friends who went to Trends said the gentleman there was great and the service was very professional, and he was even able to working things out so I didn't lose my money. If you are looking to go to a salon, go to Trends two places down if you want honest service. read more
