Discovered Scotion Isle Baked Goods and communicated with a gentleman named Joe there. He was extremely helpful in answering all my questions and gave me the time to try and work out pickup . Made arrangements with my son and daughter in law for pickup for before Christmas as I do not live in London. From start to finish the whole experience went so smoothly and the final result is that when my husband tried one of the 6 pies I ordered he was thrilled. I can't thank the owners of this bakery enough and will gladly tout their expertise and quality to all that I know. I also can't say thank you enough ! The assorted packs were great in that we were able to try different flavours (apple, blueberry, cherry, peach, raspberry, strawberry). - The elderberry pie was overly generous with the fruit and jam, and had a buttery crust (that I wish was a tad nuttier). - The apple fritters were just ok, though to be fair we got them at huge discounts since it was end of week. It's an amish bakery so you pay with cash. They were very welcoming and think were a bit amused by us just loading up on all this baked goodness. Can't help it if it's that good!

Well it's essentially bagel dough wrapped around awesome filing to make a little ball of goodness! My friend and I both purchased a pizza bagel bomb. The girl at the counter was happy to explain all the different varieties but we couldnt resist the cheese, sauce, and meat that was waiting inside this thing. She heat it up for a little bit and also prepared us some wonderful Angry Alpaca tea (if you haven't tried this stuff yet, do yourself a favour and get some. It's local tea and it tastes AMAZING!). I loved the flavour of the pizza bagel bomb. They put some nice spices on top and the fillings weren't your typical mozzarella and pepperoni. I believe capicola and provolone as well? It was the perfect little pick me up since we didnt want a big lunch. The bakery was consistently busy! There was always someone at the counter but the service is quick. The coffee, locally roasted is absoutley fantastic and only pales if you dare compare it to the freshly made baked goods: cookies, cupcakes, muffins, cakes pies ... the list goes on. They all look and taste amazing! They also have breakfast, sandwiches, soups and all kinds of entrées. While it is often overlooked from the outside it is cozy and wonderful once you enter. A lending library, board games and locally made products like coffee and honey await you inside. I'm actually leaving myself another mental note to return shortly - let's see if this one sticks.

This bakery has a beautiful assortment of cakes and pastries to choose from. We both had the ham and cheese croissant which had an authentic cheese inside. We do wish it was heated up though. My husband also ordered the cinnamon twist and mentioned that although it looked pretty, it didn't have as much flavor as he would have liked. My cappuccino was so delicious! It is so difficult to find a proper one around here and Pastry Culture gets it right. The art around the main lobby represents Paris culture perfectly and the interior design was very nice. You can see some of the staff hand making pastries in the back room as you place your order at the cash register.
