So when I canceled my 6-month appt, I asked again to meet with the office manager and to receive all of my records. I was obliged. When MAUREEN advised me to come back to her office to speak, I closed the door and when I turned around and sat down, MAUREEN (she wouldn't give her last name - but she's the miserable-looking, tight-lipped woman who's sitting at a separate desk behind the counter) stood behind her desk, hands on her hips and said, "And what do you want today?" Really? MAUREEN was rude. MAUREEN is dismissive. MAUREEN told me it wasn't my right to give a bad review. MAUREEN said that she only expects positive reviews. MAUREEN advised that she didn't meet with me because she didn't want another poor review. MAUREEN is a poor excuse of a manager. It shows in her stance and effect. MAUREEN said that she didn't believe the dentist I complained about gave me poor service because - 1. The dentist has over 20 years of experience; 2. Maureen didn't witness it; 3. I was the only person who had a problem with the services; 4. I just want to argue! Further, MAUREEN admitted that she wasn't concerned about me being a customer because she's been managing for over 50 years. And then MAUREEN dismissed me, talked over me - never sat down - and said the only thing she wanted to talk about was my son's copay. Truly, if you want to entrust your care to an entity that cares about you as a whole person and NOT just the copay, positive feedback and staying in your place, pass by this poor excuse for dental service in Westmont, NJ. Go to Dollar Tree - which is next door - instead. You'll receive better service and more accountability. Funny I can't find my original opinion on their poor service! But it doesn't dismiss how AWFUL their leadership is!!!

When numbing me for a root canal, the older male dentist (I don't have his name) was extremely rough and somehow made the numbing agent cause a searing pain throughout my gums and had my face numbed all the way up to my lower eyelid for around 7 hours after the visit. Not the cleanest or most pleasant environment either. Literally no reason to come here specifically, go anywhere else.

I said it…read more Yup, a visit to the dentist ranks right up there with a car breakdown in traffic, or a surprise visit from my Mother-in-Law on my personal "this sucks" scale. That's why I usually procrastinate and avoid trips to the dentist until I'm in pain. Yes, I know... regular dental care is important. But I preferred minor dental pain to dealing with my previous dentists and their office staff. My experience with dentists hasn't been very good, not because my teeth are bad (they're not), but because the vast majority of dental offices I've been to are poorly run, and the dentists usually have the interpersonal skills of a rutabaga. So I would wait until the pain was enough to compel me to visit the dentist. I recently had some dental pain, and I called my previous dentist (not Haddon Family Dentistry) many times trying to get an appointment. After leaving multiple messages over several days, I finally got to talk to a live person in the office who couldn't schedule an appointment on the phone for me at that time, but said she would call me back shortly. She didn't.. so I fired my previous dentist and began my search for a new one. I chose Haddon Family Dentistry based on their excellent Yelp reviews. I called and spoke to a friendly and professional lady who was able to get me an appointment quickly. She talked me through the simple and user-friendly online forms I needed to fill out prior to my visit, and I was set. The office space at Haddon Family Dentistry is modern, warm, and absolutely spotless. The office staff is super friendly and very professional. Within 5 minutes of my appointment time I was in the dentist's chair talking to the dental assistant (assistant? associate? hygienist? ...sorry I don't know the correct terminology since I don't go to the dentist very often). I then met Dr. Dworak (AKA Dr. D for those of us with pronunciation challenges). Dr. D is extremely professional, yet he's also totally cool and easy to talk to. He did an examination, explained to me exactly what was going on with my teeth, and then he gave me options to fix my problems. Since that 1st visit to Haddon Family Dentistry I've been back 2 additional times, and every time has been the same: exceptional service and very professional care. Every time I've had an appointment at HFD I'm in the chair within 5 minutes of my appointment time. I've had several cavities filled and a couple old fillings replaced, and in 3 visits I haven't had a single instance of pain... not even the initial stab from the anesthesia injection. Dr. D and his crew are simply the best in the business. My wife recently had a dental emergency, and Dr. D and his posse at HFD was able to see her immediately, even though they weren't scheduled to see any patients that day! Customer service doesn't get any better than that. Many thanks to Dr. D and his excellent staff. I highly recommend Haddon Family Dentistry.

My hygienist usually has the TV on (news) so you can at least listen to something other than your teeth cleaning. Would recommend fixing the old ceiling tiles in the exam rooms. Nobody wants to look at that while they are getting their teeth fixed.

It didn't go well, in fact we were kicked out. My son's pediatric dentist recommended Dr. Espinoza and said he would be able to do the root canal and the bonding of his tooth. Dr. Espinoza met with us for a consultation and my son felt immediately comfortable with him. Dr. Espinoza was extremely patient, comforting, and answered all of my son's questions! He was able to get the procedure done and my son said he would go back to him again! They even let me stay in the room to comfort my son as they did the procedure. His tooth looks amazing! They have an online way to schedule appointments, which is very helpful to someone with a busy schedule like me.
