Place is a total 70s vibe that makes a great effort to have a cool experience for a retro motor lodge / motel. Definitely a perfect family vacation spot! Rooms are clean and modern. Pool and fire pit are great spots to hang around. Our family loved all the small details and music references throughout the hotel. Staff was very welcoming and accommodating! Location is fabulous and close to beaches and restaurants. The only issue I think people treck in a lot of dirt when going from the pool with wet feet and bathing suits, and some walk barefoot over the parking lot and with white floors you'll notice the towels get filthy easily as well as the bathroom floors. Bathroom is a bit of a tight squeeze and takes some getting used too. Would definitely stay here again when in the area

The body wash, shampoo and conditioner are amazing as well, they give off a luxurious spa like scent. The pool is way to 82 degrees at all times. The hot tub is amazing and well maintained as well. "Dirty birdie" is very decently priced and has great food and drinks. Beautiful cabanas as well as the outdoors. They offer amazing fire pits at night to make your stay even more comfortable, great place to make s'more's at night and have a few adult drinks while the kids hang out. Amazing music!! We will be back next year!

Absolutely Disgusting - Do NOT Stay Here The Mariner…read more"Resort" in West Yarmouth, Cape Cod We booked a month-long stay and were promised "the best room in the hotel" since we were staying so long. They assured us we'd be a top priority. Instead, we were put in one of the filthiest, most neglected rooms I've ever seen, tucked in the back, nowhere near the pool view we were told we'd have. When we brought this up, they told us to wait until after the holiday (a week away) because they were "too busy" to accommodate us. The room was absolutely disgusting. The door didn't lock and was so caked in grime and scum that you couldn't even see out the glass. Inside, it was even worse: * Pubic hairs and blood stains on the sheets and pillowcases * Every single towel they brought us had stains--or actual blood on them * Ceiling falling apart above the shower and doorway (literal chunks of it would fall on us mid-shower) * Greasy handprints on mirrors and the bedpost * Shower drain clogged, with hair and mucus coming up when we ran the water * Outlets didn't work--we couldn't even charge our phones or use hair tools * Bugs and spiders crawling along the walls, under the bed, and across the ceiling * Boogers on the lampshades * And the bed was rock hard--I would've been more comfortable sleeping on the floor All four of us were healthy upon arrival, but after just a few hours in the room we all developed severe allergy symptoms; sneezing, itchy throats, congestion, coughing. The moment we stepped outside the hotel, our symptoms would disappear. Every time we re-entered, they'd come right back. By the time we left, we were dealing with serious breathing issues. Then there's the "free breakfast" amenity. The coffee and juice machines were coated in mold, yes, mold. I took photos and videos. All four of us got sick after drinking it. I reported it to the front desk multiple times over the 12 days I stayed, and they didn't care at all. They looked me in the eye, lied about cleaning it, and made no effort to fix the situation, even after I showed proof. On top of all that, the hotel environment felt completely unsafe. There were known drug users and prostitutes openly staying on the property. It was uncomfortable and unsettling to walk to our room at night, and not once did management seem to monitor or address who was on the premises. And as if that weren't enough--the hotel advertises itself as "newly renovated" and a "resort." We stayed here years ago and can confirm there has been absolutely zero renovation done. That claim is completely false and misleading. It is even 10x worse than our last stay a decade ago. This place is not just dirty, it's a health and safety hazard. Management is unprofessional, unresponsive, and dishonest. Do not book here under any circumstances. I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone. They are liars and scammers! Swipe through pics for proof.

Neither is the graham cracker mattress, I think sleeping on ironing board (that also has its plethora of unknown stains) would give me less back problems. Not to mention the sliding door that 1. Has no lock 2. The protective screen is ripped And 3. has, what looks like, a generous coating of phlegm due to lack of cleaning. If you stay here, do yourself a favor and bring a hazmat suit. If you don't want PUBES on your "clean towel" you might wanna opt out!!!

Absolutely Horrible Stay!!! I booked a Room for 12/6/2025…read morethe day before through Booking.com as they stated that they have a great looking Swimming pool and Hottub available for guests... I was hoping to Unwind and Relax in the hottub and pool but when I arrived after making my Reservation the man at the Front desk said the pools are Closed for the Season!! The Motel & Booking company aren't Coordinating as they should.. I asked for a Refund as I told them the only reason I booked a room was to use the Amenities the site said was Available.. They said there are No Refunds and to call Booking.com about it.. I called and was put on hold for 30 minutes!!! i never got through so I hung up and had no choice but to accept the Room I didn't want or lose the money I spent on the room.. I got in the room, the view from the back window was that of a big garage next door and a dumpster. I then looked in the bathroom and noticed the towels had light brown stains on them! Gross! I tried to Relax by sitting on the bed and watching the Outdated TV & tiny remote.. the guests under my room were Very Loud and didn't Shut up until 10:00pm!! I Would NEVER Stay here again even if I was paid to stay...!!!! I Deserve a FULL REFUND but they probably won't read this and Don't Care!

5 stars? Hell no. But I'll tell you wut. This place kicks some ass…read more We drove in the driveway and I was like, "Oh, this is an old motel." Checked in, drove over to the back end where our room is, and was happy to see plants hanging down from suspended planter baskets. Once up the stairs, we struggled a little to push open the door to room 257, and once inside, we were greeted by a big ol' fly! He seemed to like hanging out on a spot on the wall where some spackle had been applied to a hole, but had not been painted. This was our first impression, which might have at best garnered 2 or 3 stars. But I was curious about what I saw in the darkness from the window. I went out to the back, a bit of a walk, but well worth it. There were dozens of little fish leaping out of the river back there, likely being chased by stripers, making tons of noise like a thrashing alligator. It was impressive. The moon was orange as it came up, and some white tailed rabbits came out to greet me. Some dudes were fishing there in the dark. Out behind the first building, the one where you check in, there was a large firepit, happy people sharing smores, and burning torches for extra light. Others were playing that sandbag throwing game, while others joined the group, straight from a door at the back on their room to the back yard. I was jealous. So cool. My body, sore from a day exploring Nantucket, told me to check out the indoor hot tub. It was already like 8:40pm, and it closes at 9pm, so I dragged my fam with me. A dude with his pants pulled up firmly, just below his underwear, warned us that we had 5 more minutes before closing. (I don't mind the way he wears his jeans, I find it entertaining... but it goes to show how down to earth this place operates.) Getting out of the tub, my wife greeted me with a towel that had a pretty massive hole in it, likely a result of repeated laundry bleach burns, which tells me that it was clean. Checking out now, they asked me how I liked my stay. I had a lot to say! I would ABSOLUTELY return.
