My friends and I stayed at this hotel and were absolutely disgusted by both the condition of the facility and the behavior of the owner. The room had visible roaches, which is completely unacceptable for any hospitality business. When we tried to speak with the owner about it, he blatantly walked out and refused to address our concerns. Later, when we called to ask what could be done to resolve the situation, he cussed us out and told us to "do whatever the f*** you want to do." His response was beyond unprofessional--it was hostile and vile. This man is a gross, despicable human being who clearly has no regard for his customers or basic decency. We will be reporting him to the Better Business Bureau. Do not stay here under any circumstances.

Stayed here this past weekend with my husband and daughter. My husband checked us in while my daughter and I did some shopping. We really wanted to like this place because it looked cute and was conveniently located to all the little shops in Falmouth. They told my husband they couldn't find our reservation after he and I both called to confirm there would be 2 double beds in our room since our daughter is a teenager. They told my husband to wait and mysteriously they found out reservation. The sheets in both beds were stained with what looked like bodily fluids. The rug felt damp, we wore shoes the whole time and slides in the shower because there was mold on the shower tile floor. We had 3 people staying in our room and only 2 towels. The mattress felt like the springs were coming through the mattress on both beds. Needless to say we will not be staying there again nor do we recommend this place.

Labour day weekend, so Peak tourist season. 200 usd per night, which is still cheaper than other offerings this time of year at this locality. Within walking distance to the ferry, island queen. Within walking distance to most restaurants on the Main Street or otherwise, within walking distance to bicycle rentals and the Shining sea bikeway route. If it wasn't for the sunset at The Knob, one could pretty much just leave your car parked the entire vacation there and just walk everywhere. It's kept clean. Our rooms were made everyday and towels replaced. The check in was friendly and though they sprayed the rooms a lot with room freshener of sorts because it is a bit damp or moist, as it tends to be at the seaside, they seemed to be doing a great job to keep the place as clean as possible! Definitely would stay here again and definitely recommend it as it has good value for money given the location, and the time of year.

    Clean, spacious updated rooms!

I'm SO glad we discovered The Mariner! The innkeeper, Gary was so hospitable and friendly. He recommended restaurants in the area and made sure we had everything we needed. I was reluctant to stay in a "motel" because of the stigma that comes with it but it completely turned me around. Our room was so neat and clean and the bedding, as Gary explained were recently updated. Our room, a Double XL had two double beds plus an extra single bed. It could easily accommodate a larger group. The location is right in downtown Falmouth, just a few minutes to all the restaurants and shops. I will definitely come back and recommend to my family and friends!

Cute and charming decor! Very Cape Cod.

Any worries or concerns that I may have had disappeared the moment we pulled into the drive. From the impeccable landscaping to the timely and friendly greeting from the Inn owner, Pattie started the weekend off perfectly. She was both warm and inviting. She took the time to show us her beautiful property and all of its personalized, beautiful features and amenities. The rooms were spacious, impeccable and adorned with all of the luxuries you may want for a comfortable stay. The housekeeping crew left the room spotless and tidy each day as well. Watching Pattie work and care for her guests make the stay just that more special. She truly cares about her guests comfort. My friends and I were able to enjoy her delicious, homemade breakfasts (we could have done better of keeping her informed of any culinary preferences but she was able to accommodate a few reasonable requests). She has truly thought of every detail---from coffee/tea/filtered water access all day to homemade cookies ! Sitting on the veranda together whether in the evening or morning after breakfast, we were able to settle in surrounded by trees and enjoy one another's company. We loved it so much we are thinking of making this an annual visit. Thank you, Pattie for creating the perfect environment for us to laugh, talk and create memories until our next reunion!

We checked in a discovered a cute beachy room. They had a record player with beach themed records....so fun. They also had a rooftop space to hang out and enjoy the views. We did end up next to a room with an infant. We could hear the baby cry for over 1.5 hrs at which point we asked for another room as figured the infant may be up several times through the night. They graciously allowed us to switch rooms and were very apologetic. The lady at the desk did not hassle us at all. I'm very appreciative for such a wonderful stay at Falmouth Tides.

The room was air conditioned, and the views were amazing. The hotel is also very well located. The only issue was the cleanliness, it seemed as though no one sweeped the corners or sides of things (There were quite a few dead bugs). and there were stains on the sheets of both beds. One bed had greenish, brown stain on the inner. The other had a reddish stain on the top cover. Perhaps because of the white sheets stains are always harder to remove. But the amount of stains was something I've never experienced before. Because of that; 4 stars. Also the bathroom is tiny, no room to put anything on the counters or in the shower really...Not a big deal to me, but may be to some. The last couple of things- the walls are very thin, and smells leak through the doors and windows-the air smelled of weed frequently.

It was a little surprising that a room with such a large common space would have two queen beds instead of a king bed, though. The staff, including housekeeping, did a great job making us feel like guests of honor all weekend long, with a bride and groom welcome setup and several refreshes of the room while we were away. We were also able to book one of the dog-friendly rooms at the last minute, in which my mom stayed with our dog. There was lots of green space on and off the property for our dog to explore on walks. The Coonamessett also hosted our morning-after-the-wedding buffet breakfast, which we coordinated through their special events team five months before the wedding. The food was pretty good, nothing special, but was a little on the pricier side (to be expected for a wedding-related event). Since they weren't hosting a wedding on-site that weekend, we were able to use the entire ballroom space. A couple hotel guests wandered in and grabbed a plate before we informed them it was a private event. The Coonamessett even opened the bar for our guests (my niece and nephew said the espresso martinis were good!).

After two more times waiting in long lines, it was 6pm and our room still wasn't ready so we went out for dinner. We had wasted 3 hours of our one night vacation lingering for updates and were given nothing concrete. Didn't get a call that our room was ready until 8pm. Even if they were behind, suite rooms should have been prioritized or the other staff who was lingering around the resort doing seemingly not much should have jumped in to help.
