Unfortunately, my experience with Dr. Gilliam was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. I was…read morescheduled as his first patient of the day for a root canal. Although I arrived slightly late, I was still within the office's grace period. Dr. Gilliam was not yet at the office and ultimately arrived approximately 30 minutes late. This was also my third attempt to have this root canal completed. During a previous appointment, the office canceled my procedure because I arrived one minute beyond their grace period, so it was especially frustrating to be expected to wait when I had followed that same policy. Because I needed to get to work, I decided I could no longer wait and would find another provider. My decision to leave is where my experience became completely unacceptable. Dr. Gilliam became confrontational and, as I was leaving, repeatedly asked me, "Do you want a referral so you don't die?" He said this multiple times while referring to the infection in my mouth. I had never even met this dentist before that day. I understand the seriousness of a dental infection. My issue was never with being informed that I needed treatment or being offered a referral. My issue was the aggressive, disrespectful, and humiliating way it was communicated. A healthcare professional can explain the urgency of a condition without speaking to a patient that way. I left extremely upset and now have the additional inconvenience of finding another provider to complete a root canal I had already attempted to have done three times at this practice. I cannot speak for the positive experiences others have shared, but unfortunately, that was not the respect, professionalism, or courtesy I received. Based on my personal experience, I would not return.

Not only did he botch a cavity filling I had done, I had to get it redone at another better dentist office. I also had my wisdom out by him and he didn't numb me enough and when I told him, he said "I don't have all day" and proceeded to work on me while I was in pain. They honestly need to be investigated. STAY AWAY.

After months of pain…read moreand frustration with my former dentist -- multiple visits, a crown, a root canal, and still no answers -- I was told I'd have to wait two more weeks just to be seen. I was in so much pain I couldn't chew on either side, and yet I felt dismissed and not taken seriously. That all changed when I called Posh Dental. Dr. Seihoun and his staff saw me right away, diagnosed the issue (two cracks in my tooth that had been missed before), and got me scheduled for the procedure the same week. The difference in care was night and day. Even when I had a smaller issue after my mercury filling replacement -- biting my cheek while waiting for my crown -- they got me in the very same day I called. The level of attention, compassion, and urgency they show is exactly what every patient deserves. From the hygienists to the front desk staff, everyone at Posh Dental makes you feel comfortable, informed, and pain-free. They explain everything step by step, check in constantly to make sure you're okay, and truly treat you like you matter. Dr. Seihoun is not only highly skilled, but also compassionate and thorough. After such a traumatic experience with my former dentist, I can honestly say Posh Dental Arts is my new dental home. I am so grateful I found them. If you want a dentist who will listen, act quickly, and give you the highest standard of care, look no further than Dr. Babak Seihoun and the team at Posh Dental Arts.

A woman on the phone told me that the dr probably wont fill them. She was absolutely right. First day he said he saw staining on one of my teeth and didnt see any cavities on my left side. 2 days later he sees two cavities but because the one on the bottom is small, it shouldnt be causing any issues. Instead of filling the teeth, he referred me to an Oral surgeon to have my wisdom teeth removed because according to him, they could cause pain that could affect any tooth. 2 weeks later and i'm still in pain. It was a waste to even be fit into the schedule if he rushes the appointment and neglects to address the issues. I will definitely find another dentist for myself and my kids.
