When we arrived there were no other customers and the two ladies working that day were on us like white on rice the entire time. They followed us around every inch of the store and commented and complimented every item we even so much as laid eyes on. It was Uber annoying so we left empty handed. The sales associates should learn to read the customers and adjust. It was clear we just wanted to browse on our own and their constant barrage of sales tactics drove us right out the door.

I walked and the gentleman behind the counter looked up but couldn't be so much as bothered to greet me and carried on reading his own book. My friend and I were the only people in the store so he wasn't helping anyone and we made legit eye contact so he definitely saw us. I saw a few interesting titles that I purchased on Amazon. I would have much rather given my money to a local small business but in this case they didn't earn it. The whole interaction just left a bad taste in my mouth.
