DO NOT GO TO THIS CAR WASH!!! I did the self wash and the charge was $4.75 when I was done, but Thunder Car Wash charged $15.00 to my credit card. The machine would not print a receipt. There was NO ATTENDANT on duty. Their phone number was disconnected. My credit card company gave me the 2 phone numbers they had on hand for Thunder Car Wash, but neither one was for this business. Some of the bad reviews mention being charged $15. It takes a few days for the adjustment to happen. My wash was $7 and after 4-6 days the charge on my card went from showing $15 to the correct amount. The bay was fully functional and easy to use. So quick and easy I'll be using this a lot more often. I recommend for people trying to avoid spinning brushes and everything that comes with automated car washes. read more

This has happened to me multiple times at this car wash. I am 'forced' to use my card in the self wash bay because the coin machine isn't working. I use my credit card and hit the red stop button where it shows my total is $6 or $7 but yet the charge on my credit card is $15!! This happens this past Saturday 1/25/25 and I specifically remember my total being $6.73 when I pressed the red stop button. I have used this car wash twice with a card. They always charge me the $15.00 pending and they still over-charge me. I hit the red button to stop and read what I am suppose to pay. I will take a picture next time. I dispute it every time and I do get a credit for the over-charge. I looked up their number online and the number will not go through. After reading a few of these reviews I was somewhat surprised. My husband took my car in Fri 4/12 in the afternoon. Had no problem with the wash! Paid to have the inside cleaned and vacuumed. They did an excellent job. When I got in my car today, there sitting on the passenger seat was my Starbucks gift card that I thought I lost 3 weeks ago. Someone found during the cleaning, and returned it. This Place sure needs some positive feedbacks. My faith in Humanity has certainly gone up a lot. Went here yesterday for a touchless wash. After I paid I went into the bay and stopped as the lights directed only to sit there and have nothing happen. No attendant on duty and phone number is not in service and have emailed the random gmail posted at the entrance but not holding my breath. Can I give a negative rating?!?! Due to horrible customer service, they don't deserve a single star. No phone number to reach anyone if there's an issue, only an email now. I sent this email on Sunday "Twice I paid for the $15 wash just this morning,  3/21/2021 at 12:12 and again at 12:15, both times it said to proceed into the wash and both times your system did nothing! I thought maybe the first time it didn't actually take the payment,  which is why I tried a second time. But looking at my bank account,  both transactions are being processed already. That's $30 and not once did it actually wash my car..." Still no response and my money has not been refunded. Now 4 days later I have sent another email pointing out that I saw the repair man there just a bit after I sent the email so I spoke with him. Unfortunately he's a third party repair guy and could not help me and that the company still had not contacted me to fix the issue of their system taking my money and not washing my car!! The wash is fine, if and when it works, but their customer service is horrid and because of this, I do not intend to use them again. My husband told his bosses about this issue and they use Thunderwash all the time for their company vehicles. They are waiting to see what happens, and if Thunderwash does not rectify this by the end of the week, they started they will take their business elsewhere. read more

I paid for the most expensive wash and was disappointed. It seemed like my passenger side got no soap at all. My car did not look clean and it was not super dirty. I don't like to leave bad reviews before trying to remedy but no way to contact. I would not recommend....I have been to other car washes like this that have done a much better job. read more

I went thunder car wash on June 11 2016 and paid for the 12.00 dollars wash and half way through the cycle the brushes stopped for about two minutes then restart and pushed my vehicle forward. Emailed their website 4 times and a week later received a reply from owner Ben Entas and he replied We have had a chance to watch both cameras and check the computer system. The wash was functioning normal at all times. The brush changed directions when it got to the back of the car. There is no evidence of the car being pushed around. The brushes touching the car are part of normal operations. We cannot refund your money because all functions were normal and the videos showed everything to be in perfect working order. Horrible place- no one ever working there- automatic car wash malfunctioned and my car was half covered in soap upon exiting, had to then spend more money to do the self wash while formally dressed ( which is why I did automatic wash in the first place) When I tried to contact the owner the phone number is out of service and via email he responded and said he wouldn't do anything for me. I contacted better business bureau so they are now investigating this business after numerous complaints. I put my debit card in and only used soap and rinse a couple of minutes...the display said $3.33 not a bad deal...except CHASE bank texted me that the debit card was charged a flat ten bucks!!!...Did I miss something??? Also spend $1.50 on the vacuum (cycle too short to do trunk). Got the job done without having to wait. The location is sort of set back from Randall Rd. so that likely lends to the lack of traffic. It was a little pricier than most automatic washes but only by a dollar or two. Not the top wash in my book but satisfactory fo sho. read more

A bit too "touchy" for my liking. I understand the difference between touchless and otherwise, but I felt that the rollers spent a bit more time making contact with my car than I would have preferred. The undercarriage sprayer doesn't appear to be as wide as a standard vehicle, so the outer edges of the underside of the car aren't touched. The rinse sprayers don't seem to do a good enough job of rinsing the soap off. There was a small amount of soap residue remaining afterwards. The dryer was so powerful I actually felt a few droplets hitting my face coming in from the vents. All in all, not terrible. It's on my way home from work, so it's definitely more convenient than other options, but I'm inclined to drive a bit further for a better experience. I just got back from Thunder wash and needless to say my visit wasn't a pleasant one. I paid for the $10 wash and something malfunctioned and managed to only get a 5 sec back bumper wash and then it told me the wash was finished. The bars didn't move at all and I pretty much paid for nothing. I had a great experience here in my boyfriends truck but my car somehow got screwed out of a wash. Extremely disappointed! When I went to the wash and paid my $10 the wash didn't even start. I tried the next lane and paid again and it worked. Crappy job, but it worked. For the $8 car wash, which is not the cheapest one, you leave with a soapy car that also has not been dried. The soap was not sufficiently rinsed off of my SMALL car which was disappointing. Additionally, for $8, they can't even turn the dryers on. You have to pay for the $10 wash to get your car dried. Thought I'd go for a quick wash today, er....not. First off, the selector at the self wash does not accept credit cards. No problem, eh? Then started the wash, and the spray hose has a hole, which sprays about as much water on me as the car. There was an attendant on duty, but spent about 5 minutes looking for him, all the while the car is half wet and soaped up. He tells me sorry, but only after further discussion he acquiesces and give me a 10.00 token for the automatic wash.
