They were great until you need a refund. Owners are not descent enough to return over a month worth of emails or calls. Very disappointed.

Park amenities include a lighted baseball field, racquetball court, benches, picnic pavilion, playground, and a recreation center that offers school break camps, youth leagues, and after school programs. The park also has teqball tables which is a new sport to me. Teqball uses a table that looks like table tennis but instead is curved. The sport combining table tennis and football was invented in 2014 by Hungarians: Gabor Borsanyi and Viktor Huszar. Borsnyi was injured playing soccer and wanted to find a less aggressive sport. Today soccer players use it for supplemental training. It has become one of the fastest growing sports in the world. After less than 10 years, more than 100 countries already have their own teqball associations. I really loved my visit to Hammocks Community Park. From the parking lot it doesn't look like much but I picked up the pathway that goes past the playground and sports fields to the back of the park where it runs next to a scenic lake. There are large trees in the back of the park offering shade and shelter to wildlife. For anyone looking for more exercise, you can pick up the 7.3 mile Hammocks Lakes Loop at the entrance to Hammocks Community Park. The paved trail winds around the lake and apartment complexes. It is ideal for birding, walking, running, bike riding, and dog walking.

There are 4 sets of swings--2 are regular swings and 2 other ones are chair-like for those who just want to sit back and recline. Parts of the playground have the blue rubber flooring and other parts are sand. There are no parking lots, but you can park along the street right by the park. Overall, this is a nice park to take a stroll, play some bball, or take kids on the playground.

The park is on a large field that sits adjacent to the William Lehman Elementary School. It turns out everything in the nature based playground is brand new. A ribbon cutting ceremony was held on May 31st of this year. The city spent $500,000 from the Quality Neighborhood Improvement Program and impact fees to redesigned the playground with the goal of getting children to spend more time outside and to encourage them to appreciate nature through play. The 4,510-square-foot play area contains inclusive playground equipment and Australian pine logs were added to provide seating. Playground equipment includes climbing nets, a double tower, spring riders, swings, a play and learn panel, and musical instruments to play. New landscaping including five oak trees, sod, and native pollinator plants along with concrete curbing, walkways, benches, and bike racks were added to enhance the area. The result of all of the improvements is a inviting play area for the community children. Improvements at Sabal Chase are part of the Miami-Dade County Parks and Open Space Master Plan which is a vision to create a sustainable system of parks, recreation and open spaces for the citizens of Miami.
