However, right before my inspection I found out these other services could not be provided. My home inspector provided great pictures and a lot of issues were in the report. However, my home inspector missed a lot of big concerns. The electrical was all messed up and needed rewiring (not too expensive to fix but this was a missed fire hazard). The new furnace was installed incorrectly and the furnace venting was too small ($5,000 bill). The electrical outlets weren't even grounded. How does a home inspector missed that?? It literally is just putting in a cheap testing device into the outlets to check them.

Turns out I had to pay $10,000 + to have the whole side of my house dug up because the sewer was faulty from the basement to the outside because of tree roots. Called and asked why he didn't check the basement sewer says it wasn't part of his job... I'm like the basement is part of the house!!!! Well your warranty ended 8 days ago so pretty much told me not my problem. I am still going to try to sue them for not doing their job properly.
