My husband and I had lunch at Thum's Kitchen when we were visiting Cornwall and overall it was fantastic. I had the L15 Pad Kee Mow (aka Drunken Noodles) with beef $11.90 and my husband had the L13 Pad Preaw Wan (aka sweet and sour stir-fry) with beef $11.90. Both meals came with Tom Yum soup. The Tom Yum soup was very flavourful. I really loved the sweet and sour broth. It had a few mushrooms and pieces of tomatoes in it. It was a nice way to start the meal. Our food came pretty quickly after the soup. My drunken noodles were really spicy and I loved the amount of spice. It had tender beef slices, as well as carrots, green beans, bamboo shoots, bell peppers, onions and mushrooms. It was garnished with raw bean sprouts, raw carrots, raw shredded cabbage and a piece of lettuce. I really enjoyed my dish except for the fact that it was really oily. I would have liked it more if they used less oil. Nonetheless, it was tasty. I had a bit of my husband's dish and it was also delicious. The sweet and sour beef was mild and not spicy at all. It came with some steamed rice that was formed into the shape of a heart. His dish had onions, celery, bell peppers and pineapple in it. We ate outside on the patio. We had a later lunch, around 1:30pm, and we loved that we were the only ones on the patio. The restaurant is on a main street though, so lots of noise from traffic, but it's elevated, so you're at least higher up and not at the same level as cars on the road. The patio furniture is wooden and I love that the tables have a little ledge under the table where you can put your purse or other belongings. Service was welcoming and courteous, and quick too. There's a private parking lot at the side and behind the restaurant. Parking is free. We love finding gems like this in small towns. Looking forward to returning to try their other dishes.

The atmosphere is uniquely Thai. Service is wonderful. We started with fried vegetable spring rolls which were delicious in their simplicity. 4 to an order plenty to share. I ordered the Penang and my guest had #21 a chicken with lemongrass dish. Both were superb

Came here on our way to PEI, and decided to give this place a try due to its high ratings. The interior looks impeccably Thai, with lots of gold embellishments and Thai decor. The waitresses were both super friendly! I was quite pleased to see a variety of Thai dishes on the menu that differs from your usual Pad Thai fare. They offered some noodle soups and Khao Soi Gai. We all ordered the lunch special, which came with the soup of the day. My lunch special was a yellow chicken curry with rice noodles for dipping. It was served with a spring roll and a creamy hot and sour soup. The curry was great - it was rich in coconut milk (you could tell that they didn't skimp on ingredients), and the rice noodles was the perfect vessel to mop up all the sauce. I do wish that there was more depth in flavour to the curry... It was mostly just sweet. I wasn't a big fan of the soup; it was interesting at first, but then the sickeningly sweet tomato flavour really overwhelmed my taste buds. The spring roll was nice and crispy, though I wish the sauce was drizzled on the side to avoid sogginess. My dad got the yellow chicken curry with rice, which was much darker in colour and richer in flavour than mine. I quite enjoyed it, and cleared off all the potatoes in it! My mom ordered the spicy stir fried noodles, which came with beef and veggies. I found the noodles quite sweet and wet. My sister got the stir fried pork with basil and veggies, and again, my comments are that it was fairly sweet and very wet. I wish it had more wok air... All the flavours in this restaurant seem to fall on the sweet side, with a common theme of wetness in the stir fried dishes. That said, I did like the a la carte yellow curry, so I would recommend that!

So far so good. The place is quiet and smells great! The lady serving us is super sweet and pleasant! Let's see how it goes

We have dined in and ordered in from here. I like the decor, quite rustic, although I doubt it was intentional. The lady who served us was really nice and attentive. She even pulled down the vlinds for me. It seemed like a family business as a little girl came running to her. The food was tasty, the price was reasonable for the taste and quantity. Which is why we ordered in too a couple of days later. I recommend this place, most def.

Best Thai food I've ever eaten. 5 stars for food. 2-3 for lack of employees. People wait at the front, wait to order. No napins, I searched for some myself. Hire another person or 2, please. Phenomenal chicken dishes (pad Thai, cashew.

Yes Yes Yes and Yes! You have to try their sticky rice, it comes in a little bamboo container. Super cute! I ordered their curry - wow, I didn't think I would inhale the whole thing, but I did. I tried stopping myself but I just couldn't. Food just kept entering into my mouth. Well, I don't know the area that well, but this place is very close to the train station! And it's in this cute little house. I love how traditional they were - they all wore a traditional gown. Although they could turn up the lighting a bit - I really couldn't see what I was eating. It was too dark! Also come early - they get pretty backed around 7 or 8 pm!

Nice surprise for authentic Thai food in Cornwall. The fried duck breast on spicey stir-fried veggies was excellent. Pad Thai was also delicious. Service was fast and friendly, and the atmosphere is pleasant and rustic.

Stopped in with my mother and daughter. Green curry was amazing. Everything we eyed at neighbouring tables appeared equally delicious. Like seeing food served right out of a pineapple or coconut...Fairly priced, nice atmosphere and friendly service.

The yellow curry is out of this world. The ambience and service are great. Check it out!

Food was expensive and they put lots of sauce in their dishes. I would have needed a strainer to strain all the juice in my pad Thai.

Authentic but a bit pricey for small portion size. Nice decor and customer experience.

We took my Grandmother here to celebrate thanksgiving and the service, decor and meals were lovely. This is truly a find in Cornwall!

The best dish was the lobster & shrimps.. cooked really amazing!!! Shrimp were tender and succulent omg I really loved this dish and the orange beef was good too.. I didn't know they were breaded but they were delicious and so was my mixed vegetable dish super yummy.. the soups were delicious and so were the dumplings mmmm melted in my mouth! However, The rice was standard fast Chinese food.. tasted ok but not THE BEST I've had.. it just was not very soft like I like it and the fried calamari entree was also hard and not the most fresh. The delivery came very quick (15min and the guy was at my door) so I was a bit worried as some of my food might have been reheated and thats why it was not so fresh .. not everything was bad just the rice and calamari was disappointing Prices are fair and not overly priced so if you're looking for something fast but lacks a lil bit of quality for a good price this place is great ... I just like to have my chineese food super fresh .. sorry but overall it was pretty good stuff and I'll definitely re-order but maybe I'll avoid the rice next time. Thanks
