Tried to transfer my senior mothers IRAs to Schwab, but it didn't go well at all. Called local…read morebranch in Middleton but number goes to a national call center. Attempted to make an appointment to meet with them but apparently the call center forgot to tell the local office we were coming. Got there and they had no appointment scheduled and really didn't want anything to do with us. We waited a while but after no one really wanting to help us we left. Major disconnect between whoever takes the calls and schedules the appointments. Walk ins clearly aren't wanted or accepted so don't even try.

Probably the best kept secret in personal banking. You will not find a better personal bank…read more Checks are free. On-line banking is top notch. Free OFX connections which give you the state of the art web interface. They pay all my ATM fees regardless of how much or from what bank. I never get charged fees for anything. There is no minimum balance. You get a brokerage account when you open a checking account so you can buy stock or funds if you want but its not required. You can even open multiple accounts and have them linked together which is very helpful if you have personal and business transactions. Best of all, the people at the Middleton branch are terrific. Christine will know who you are and help you with anything regarding your account. She will greet you by your first name when you call. While they provide most banking activities, they cannot cash checks or take cash as a deposit. But keep in mind you can use any ATM for your cash needs and get reimbursed for fees.

Never do business with this company. My insurance annuity…read morematured 1/25/26 and they have purposely delayed sending my funds for rollover into another Financial Institution. As if today 3/26/26. I have yet to receive these funds. Although they continue to keep my money, they refuse to adjust the interest earned. They have made this very very difficult and caused me undo stress.

Trustage is the worst insurance company I've ever dealt with. I have them through VyStar Community…read moreCredit Union. I was out of work for a year due to an accident. While they initially covered me for the accident, when I lost my job during that time, Trustage subjected me to a series of questions, almost as if they thought I was lying or unwilling to return to work. I'm still unemployed, yet they continue to withdraw money from my account for insurance they aren't paying for. I'm sharing this review to see if anyone else has experienced something similar. Throughout the year, I couldn't work because of my accident, and they kept taking payments despite not compensating me. If I don't get results with the insurance commissioners, I'll stop them from taking more money and demand repayment for every penny they deducted after ceasing compensation. This company, CUNA, changed its name to Trustage to keep people from knowing who they really are. This is what they did to others: Claim 230-510-008 created on or about 5/8/23. On 5/9/23 letter of appointment was submitted via email, upon request from CUNA. On 5/12/23, death certificates for both ******* and ******* ****** were submitted via email, upon request from CUNA. On 5/15/23, an email from CUNA states they cannot pay out death benefits and are requesting the SAME INFORMATION already submitted I attempted to contact CUNA via phone. I first reached a claims representative, whose identity I did not document, and I requested a supervisor. A "Susan" came on the line, stating she was a supervisor and asked how she could help me. As I was explaining the issue, Susan continually interrupted me, attempted to talk over top of me, and placed me on hold without notice. I had attempted to explain to Susan how I had been receiving the run around from CUNA and wanted immediate attention to my issue. Susan then forwarded me to a "Claims queue" where I was "Caller #10". Your supervisor failed to listen to the customer, failed to address my issues, and just dumped the call. Then "Lauid" took my call and refused to forward me to Susan, or another supervisor, to which I hung up the phone and stated this complaint would be filed. CUNA is incompetent and is failing to execute on a beneficiary payout as requested. They are purposely requesting the same information, at least three times now in some regards, and refuse to provide telephone support of the poor customer service you provide. It seems apparent that CUNA is more concerned about wasting customers' time.
