After being with them forever, my first application for a loan was declined on a technicality. When I asked to speak to an underwriter, she just gave me a cold and "matter of fact" brush-off and totally did not care to what I was explaining. Crazy how all their ads say they are here to help, but really, they are not. The interest rates mimic those of predatory lenders, and their customer service is a subpar level. I need to start looking another banking institution that will actually work to keep their loyal members. I do not recommend this credit union, with so many others out there to choose from.

We are greeted with a line, a woman who looks like she got up out of bed and came in to cash her check talking about some REALLY personal info on her cell phone with crust in her eyes, and only 2 workers working. 10 available windows. 2 on duty workers. Scene 2: 3rd guy in line has an annoying ring tone (y'all don't hear me - I said ANNOYING) of a song that made me stop listening to certain stations (because as Sagat sang "Funk Dat") "hearing the same 5 songs 15 times a day, for three months..." I mean seriously, you're in a place of (what looks like) business having your phone and text ringers going off all over the line like roaches after a nuclear explosion. Learn three words buddy: "Vibrate" and "Silent Mode" Scene 3: Another worker comes in and asks to be buzzed in. She gets to her station and yells, "anyone who only needs a money order? Money Order only?" The rolling of the eyes, and the sucking of the teeth begin and grow loud, I look around to see if anyone ahead of me moves. They don't. Let's hit it, I hop through the bars and approach the counter get my money order and we bounce. Climax: While waiting in line I observed my surroundings. So, I've got some suggestions. It looks like this place could have a lot going; money orders, sending/receiving money/check cashing/paying bills, etc. I'm wondering since I see these all over the place in a lot of cities if certain windows should handle certain business. * Sigh * I say to you Yelpers, I will NEVER run out of personal checks EVER again. He told me toke me to my Park Bank account on the computer and told me to enter the account of $200.00 for a refund I entered the amount of $200.00 he has a program that he used came down to move $20,000.0 from my Park Bank saving account to check account. He told me that he sent money to my park Bank account that was over refunded . I should go to park Bank and wire him $19,500.00 and keep $500.00 for myself for my refund. Forty-seven years later I still bank there with free checking for my businesses, personal and charity accounts, other than $10 per year per account as a security fee. Over the years they have gotten larger and I bank at the Fitchburg branch now. The faces change, generally moving up, and some out over the years become presidents of other local banks, but the personnel remain friendly and intelligent. Paula knows me by name when I make a deposit and Claudia handles my wire transfers quickly. Rick and i rarely have a conversation that lasts less than twenty minutes when we run into each other in the lobby. So good sized cooperation now, but still efficient, friendly and free popcorn on Fridays.

They said they did, so I made an appointment, had to cancel because my mother fell and I had to go take care of her and before I could reschedule my appointment they sent me an email stating that they had no loans for me.
