I could not have received better support from the folks at the credit union. Steve and Chris were working as a tag team for us, finding us all the documents we needed, including a money link account so we can deposit money directly into our daughter's account, if she needs it abroad, at no cost. My daughter was pleased to be informed that this account is still individual for her with her own pin (which we can't use) and the added capacity to deposit her pay stubs with photos from her phone. On the spot, she got her own debit card and pin, documents she needed for her VISA as well as notarization for many of them, and travel/money advice. As we were leaving, Chris gave my 8-year-old Star Wars stickers, and talked (and really listened!) with him about a video game he is playing. My son was beaming! During the Dane County Farmer's Market, skip the line for the vestibule ATM and hit the ATM inside or just get your money from an actual human being. Crazy, I know, but more often than not I've gotten in and out of the bank faster by going in, filling out a slip, and having a human interaction than if I had waited in line for the ATM. Staff is friendly, quick, and wants to get you in and out just as fast as you want to get in and out. There are tissues (great for those chilly market days when you find your nose running) and coffee (I don't drink coffee so I can't speak to the quality, but if you need a quick, free pick me up, it's there). PRO TIP: grab a couple withdrawal slips to fill out at home and keep in your wallet so that all you have to do is add the date to speed things along even further.
