Been really into barre classes lately and when I am traveling always looking for a good studio to…read moretry a class and get my workout in. Actually found this studio through a new instructor who had a Yelp! Profile for her yoga and fitness classes. So happy I found this place! I come to Helena at least 2-3 times a year and it is so nice to know I have a place to go outside of the hotel gym. I tried the Barre class with Hannah and what a great workout! A little different in the sign up, I am used to having to go online or call in first but the studio reached out to my inquiry and said just come on by, love that I can pop in for a class I want versus having to make sure there is room. The studio is located on the 2nd floor and what a great space! Open and plenty of room to spread out for the class. Hannah definitely worked us out hard and love that she every once in awhile would remind us to smile. Putting a smile on your face pushes you through for sure! Drop in price is $10 what a great deal! If you are a student it looks like drop in is only $8. They also have other options for memberships if you want unlimited or you can by 10 for $80. Very good pricing. I will for sure be back for more classes the next time I am in town, I really want to try their hot yoga for sure.

The class with Michele was a slower Vinyasa but full of excellent queuing and thoughtful alignment. The space is lovely and you can tell much thought went into its ambiance. The class was the perfect blend for me...solid instruction without nitpicking; the pace was steady, not tediously slow beginner-format; did much of the stretching work on the mat, then advanced to a few lunges toward the end. The facilities left a…read morelittle to be desired (lockers could be upgraded, some newer equipment - the only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5), but the thing that sold me on this gym was the classes! Having always been a "free-weights" person, I never did classes before coming to Crossroads. Classes offered are: "Ripped", "Sports Fitness", Zumba, "Bodypump", Cardio kickboxing, "PiYo" and Cycle (spinning). ALL of the instructors are GREAT!, they like interacting with and getting to know the attendees, and the place feels like a family. No insane egos here, great mix of younger/older members, no "singles scene" type of attitude, nobody "camping out" on equipment, even the Carrol kids are serious about this being a gym. I have been a member for the past 10 months, and thanks to the staff and my classmates, I go at least 4 times a week. If you regularly attend classes, and miss a couple, someone will invariably ask you, "hey glad to see you're back, where have you been?" I love that about this gym. See you there!
