I was a little sore afterwards, but that's cleared up and I feel great now. Thanks Kaylee!!

My first experience was a very good one and I will definitely be making an appointment to return. I was visiting from out of town and her office is a little difficult to find as it's not accessed like most of the other office's in the St. Johns building. I finally realized it was a little off to the right side and through what looked like a rather industrial white door. Once I found her office though it's a bit like stepping into the tropics. Decor is mostly bright with palm trees and tropical colors. Relaxing music was playing and helped me feel very comfortable. The massage was very relaxing and she made sure the pressure was just right - not too much, not too little. Her prices were VERY reasonable - I was expecting to pay at least twenty bucks more than the $65 for the hour that I received. I found out that she also takes her massage chair to a couple of local businesses to work on their employees and the farmer's market to meet new people and give 10 to 15 minute back rubs. What a great idea! Now I just wish I lived in the area so I could come back every other week! Overall a great experience.

She constantly checks in on me during the massage, but not to the point of distraction. The setting at the Lotus is calming and reflective, but also very private, and Jess always offers you tea or water. It's a lovely experience that resets your mind and body.

I'm sorry to leave a 3 star review because our experience with the doctor and Mel was outstanding, but we were disappointed with the front office staff. While we were scheduling follow-up appointments, the receptionist helping us became distracted when another patient walked in, and we were left waiting while the staff chatted among themselves. She then had to ask for my birth date again because she had lost track of the conversation. It made us feel ignored and wasn't the level of professionalism we expected. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, because Dr. Austin and Mel deserve five stars. Improving the front desk experience would make the overall visit excellent.
