During the initial exam, Dr. Gordon discovered a bladder stone as well. He clearly explained the treatment options and made thoughtful recommendations for next steps. After the exam, he personally emailed the lab and bloodwork results and answered all my follow-up questions quickly and kindly. The surgery itself went very smoothly. Dr. Gordon and his team gave clear instructions for after-care. At the end of the procedure day, Dr. Gordon emailed to check in on my dog, and he checked in again a couple of days later. I sent him updates and photos of the incision site, and he responded each time with helpful feedback. I also sent updates on day 5 (when we finished post-op medications) and again on day 10. He reviewed the photos and provided his insights. My dog's recovery was overall very smooth, and as of day 10, he has been cleared of the donut! It was far beyond my expectations for Dr. Gordon to provide so much personal follow-up outside of our clinic visits. He genuinely cared about how my dog was doing, and I'm very grateful for that level of care. Additional details: - Parking: Free parking available; the clinic is up a flight of stairs. - Check-in/Wait Time: Both our exam and surgery check-ins were quick and the wait time was minimal. - Communication: Communication with the front desk was clear and easy via email, text, and phone. - Clinic: The space is very nice and clean. - Wi-Fi: They have guest Wi-Fi, which was helpful as my cell service wasn't great in the area. - Cost: Prices are on the higher end, but I feel it's completely worth it for the attentive care and peace of mind. - Staff: The front office staff and nurses were all kind and helpful. I'm an anxious person, and they were so patient with me, which I really appreciate! My dog is skeptical of new people but can be won over with treats, and the staff offered him treats with my permission to help him feel comfortable. I had an extremely disappointing experience with this clinic involving my cat, Chloe, and was even…read moremore disturbed by management's rude and dismissive response. The clinic scheduled Chloe for a 10:30 a.m. ultrasound with an internist and instructed me to arrive by 10:30. I was instructed not to feed her since 10PM the night before. No one disclosed that this was supposed to be a drop-off appointment or that the internist had actually been given a broad 10:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m. window and Chloe might have to wait (without being fed for almost an entire day!). I was never sent the drop-off form the clinic later acknowledged I should have received. The only document they sent was a cost estimate, and only after I specifically requested one. I took time off work specifically to bring Chloe and be there for her ultrasound and would never have agreed to leave her at the clinic for an indefinite period. When I arrived, I was suddenly told to drop her off and that the internist might not be available until noon or even later. This was not a harmless scheduling mix-up. As I said, Chloe had been fasting since 10:00 p.m. in preparation for the ultrasound. She had recently endured an intensive ER visit, had gone 4 days without eating, and had only just regained her appetite without vomiting. Getting her into a carrier and transporting her to the vet was already stressful; subjecting her to additional fasting and distress because the clinic failed to communicate material information was completely unacceptable. Perhaps the worst part of this whole experience is that I showed the co-owner and practice manager every text message between me and the clinic about the scheduling for this appointment, which clearly confirmed that no drop-off requirement or extended timeframe had been disclosed. Despite that, I received no meaningful apology, compassion, or acknowledgment of the clinic's errors from her. Instead, I was met with an attitude and a complete lack of accountability. Pet owners should be able to trust a veterinary clinic to communicate honestly and clearly, especially when caring for an animal who has recently been seriously ill. Additionally, I expect the utmost compassion for my pet from vet clinics, they should be held to the highest standards in this respect. Based on both the clinic's failures and management's response, I would not trust this practice with Chloe's care again.
