Dr. Gordon is absolutely wonderful. A trusted friend referred me to him for my 4.5-year-old…read morePembroke Welsh Corgi's neutering procedure and dental cleaning. I'm a first-time pet owner, and this was my first time having my dog go under anesthesia. I know these are very standard procedures, but I was extremely nervous about all of it. During the initial exam, Dr. Gordon discovered a bladder stone as well. He clearly explained the treatment options and made thoughtful recommendations for next steps. After the exam, he personally emailed the lab and bloodwork results and answered all my follow-up questions quickly and kindly. The surgery itself went very smoothly. Dr. Gordon and his team gave clear instructions for after-care. At the end of the procedure day, Dr. Gordon emailed to check in on my dog, and he checked in again a couple of days later. I sent him updates and photos of the incision site, and he responded each time with helpful feedback. I also sent updates on day 5 (when we finished post-op medications) and again on day 10. He reviewed the photos and provided his insights. My dog's recovery was overall very smooth, and as of day 10, he has been cleared of the donut! It was far beyond my expectations for Dr. Gordon to provide so much personal follow-up outside of our clinic visits. He genuinely cared about how my dog was doing, and I'm very grateful for that level of care. Additional details: - Parking: Free parking available; the clinic is up a flight of stairs. - Check-in/Wait Time: Both our exam and surgery check-ins were quick and the wait time was minimal. - Communication: Communication with the front desk was clear and easy via email, text, and phone. - Clinic: The space is very nice and clean. - Wi-Fi: They have guest Wi-Fi, which was helpful as my cell service wasn't great in the area. - Cost: Prices are on the higher end, but I feel it's completely worth it for the attentive care and peace of mind. - Staff: The front office staff and nurses were all kind and helpful. I'm an anxious person, and they were so patient with me, which I really appreciate! My dog is skeptical of new people but can be won over with treats, and the staff offered him treats with my permission to help him feel comfortable. I will absolutely return to Dr. Gordon for future care. And I should note that I live about 60 miles away, but having such wonderful care and reassurance is worth the drive. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Gordon to fellow pet owners!

They are always super responsive and incredibly accommodating. I really appreciate that they text me ahead of time within their arrival window so I can plan around errands or make sure I'm home -- that level of communication alone sets them apart. During visits, I never feel rushed. They truly take their time and meet Dory where she's at. Sometimes Dory can be a little anxious with acupuncture, and instead of forcing anything, we work together to find different ways to make the session as calm and stress-free as possible. The vet is open, honest, and collaborative -- I never feel upsold or pressured into anything. The results have been amazing. I noticed a huge improvement even after the very first (mini) session. Dory is 13 years old, and her hind legs had been very tight and clearly bothering her. Since starting acupuncture every two weeks, her hind legs look so much better. She's running up the stairs again, pulling me on walks, and even jumped off the bed last week -- things I honestly didn't expect to see again. What I also really value is that Sunnyside Vet works with my regular vet. They communicate, listen to what my primary vet has to say, and truly function as a team with one goal: doing what's best for Dory. They were also very honest about treatment frequency, explaining that some pets need less and some need more, which I appreciated. If you're even considering acupuncture or mobile veterinary care, I highly recommend at least calling Sunnyside Vet for an initial visit. They've made such a positive difference in my older baby's quality of life, and I'm incredibly grateful.

I wouldn't recommend this vet. They were nice and polite, however what happened with my senior…read moredog's care was unacceptable. My dog has a UTI and we were prescribed Amoxi/Clav based on culture results. I told Dr Miyata we had an existing bottle in the fridge from a prior emergency visit. I sent a picture, and she approved us using it. It had been reconstituted 24 days earlier (dispense date was in the picture), but since it was refrigerated and the vet said it was okay, I trusted her guidance. When I went to the pharmacy for a refill, I was told that liquid Amoxi/Clav expires 10 days after reconstitution, even in the refrigerator. So that means that my dog received ineffective medication this entire time. If I hadn't picked up a refill, I would never have known. When I notified the vet, she said she was "under the impression the bottle wasn't reconstituted." Huh?! But in the picture, the medication was clearly a liquid suspension, refrigerated, labeled "shake well," and had the dispense date. I have NEVER been dispensed Amoxi/Clav in powder form in my life. The explanation felt more like avoiding responsibility than acknowledging what happened. My dog is extremely fragile with CKD. We cannot afford delays or ineffective medication. This isn't about whether the outcome changes; it's about basic medical standards. You don't throw a lifejacket with holes to someone who's drowning just because they're already drowning. Expired or ineffective medication should never be approved. This felt negligent and dismissive, and that's why I can't trust this vet. I get that mistakes happen -- maybe she didn't look at the picture closely. We're all human. But what matters is owning them, being transparent, and correcting them. Instead, I was met with an explanation that didn't make sense at all and minimized what happened.

Jennifer has made such a difference in our lives!…read more Pepper was 1 yr old in 2013 when we rescued her from euthanasia at our local SPCA. She was returned for aggressiveness - she wouldn't allow anyone to touch her with their hands. She guarded her food and snapped at people and growled 24/7 - even when she was having fun. We will never know exactly what trauma she suffered before we brought her home, but we knew she deserved a chance at life. Even if she needed to be separate. That was ok. She deserved to be alive. For years we worked with Pepper, touching her with our feet, then socks over hands, giving her privacy, putting her food off to the side, and letting her come to us when she wanted attention. The ongoing issue was that Pepper wouldn't come unless we forced her. We didn't like forcing her to go out or interact. We knew there had to be another way. Then we met Jennifer! After a few sessions Pepper started coming to me when called, she started volunteering for cuddles and has even started to lay in my lap and allow me to pet her. This is Huge. Pepper prefers my husband, she never ever came to my lap for love before. The Pepper I knew simply "tolerated" me, and would sometimes allow my husband some interaction. Pepper is even more amazing than ever before. Jennifer helped Pepper to know that we love her and would never ever traumatize her or force her to do anything she didn't want to do. She's the nicest, friendliest, loving dog. She is great with kids (we never knew this before!) We knew we could give her a life, but it took Jennifer helping us to reach our goal and go way beyond our expectations. We never would have gotten this far without Jennifer. We owe her a world of gratitude and many blessings for giving Pepper the fullest form of a life possible (and Fur Mom gets lots of Love too ) Thank you Jennifer! Peter, Robin & Pepper Coll

But finding Emily of The Dog Listener has been one of the greatest blessings for me and my American Bully puppy. From the very first session, Emily brought a calm, confident energy that completely changed the way I relate to my dog. Through private lessons and her incredible monthly Pack Walks, she has helped my puppy grow into a balanced, well-behaved companion. Most importantly, she's helped me grow--into a more confident, peaceful, and capable handler. What truly sets Emily apart is her compassion. My dogs don't just tolerate her--they adore her. The excitement and joy they show when she arrives is real, and it speaks volumes about the kind of person and trainer she is. Her love for dogs is genuine, and they feel it. I get emotional thinking about where we started and how far we've come. Emily is a true godsend, and I can't recommend her enough to anyone looking for a kind, effective, and empowering trainer who truly understands dogs--and their people.
