It's a very professional store. It was clean and quiet and the staff was welcoming and knowledgeable. There's a large selection of products.

Totally disorganized, crappy hours, overpriced weak product because there's no competition. If there were another dispensary in the area, they might have to up their customer service game. I'm going to Fresh in Milford. It's worth the drive to not be treated like you're replaceable, and their veteran's discount isn't just one day per week. Don't go to First State "Compassion." read more

Bought 7 pack of pre rolled on Saturday afternoon. Got home and couldn't get any draw whatsoever. Went back the next morning to return them. Asked for a refund or replacement. Manager argued that this was a third party product and he couldn't do anything. Offered to give me some papers to re roll them. Paid $60.00 for them. Terrible customer service . Limited product that not that good. Wouldn't recommend this dispensary to anyone. read more

Old product . Dusty, stem filled . Spent 150.00 . No refund . Wanted to give 30% off of next order . Why so you can give me more of the same . read more

What used to be compassion has molted into greed. Delaware's medical cannabis patients just got steamrolled. First State Compassion used to be a patient-focused nonprofit. Then it got bought by MariMed -- a publicly traded MSO -- and everything changed overnight. The best strains that were once affordable under medical pricing? Now pushed into "retail" at higher margins. Medical menus downgraded to mid-tier leftovers. Prices up, quality down, because recreational sales bring bigger profit per gram. This isn't an accident. It's exactly what happens when a nonprofit medical program gets absorbed by a for-profit corporation with shareholders to satisfy. Delaware let former nonprofits convert, sell out, and operate without any protections for medical inventory or pricing -- so the corporate playbook kicked in: move premium product to the expensive side and squeeze the medical market. In short: Patients built the system. Recreational profits are consuming it. read more

Waited over 30 minutes on line and a dozen medical parents arrived and all lines were designated to the medical patients. Don't have time to wait over an hour in line. They should leave one line open for recreational we spend same amount of money. products weak and I get twice as much for same cost in Maryland. read more

Rude, bad service. I used to spend 800$ here. I came here for years before recreational started. 3 weeks in a row they didn't honor my online order and sold my choices to recreational customers. Also they don't even say hi when you come into the storefront. So I go to a different dispensary now, and they are so nice and happy to have me as a customer. read more

I checked out yesterday past 7:50pm and came back today to them saying they don't allow people in past 7:45 when it was 7:40 at the time of my arrival today and they were still trying to not let me in.. very odd behavior.. i told them I was there yesterday even later than I was today.. the red head Girl who literally prepared my order yesterday said I wasn't there at all - when I literally was.. once I said to check the cameras she shut up!! Here's a picture of my receipt for proof.. what a psycho.. she was yelling back and forth basically calling me a liar in front of another customer and the 4 other employees. read more

Thrive Dispensary Lewes - Peep the time stamp.. - Cannabis Dispensaries Near Me - Lewes, Delaware

The most egregious predatory pricing I've ever seen for a cannabis dispensary. $50 mid 8ths, $90 1g carts, $15 mid prerolls. Nothing more to say. read more

Dry, dry, dry ! Great ppl but after all the price and tax you get a little disappointed when your buds crumble into shake and burn quicker than a match. You can do better. But like I said, happy greeting and no wait at all. Theresa was very helpful. thank you. Overall experience not bad just could sell fresher flower. read more

Great experience. Staff is always helpful l The Betty brand has something for everyone. Nighttime Betty is really great for sleep.

this place was great for awhile and then they became aholes. They had the same deal for carts for years and all of a sudden they changed it and wonder why people are upset when they go to pick up their order and it 50 more expensive than it usually is. And i can get the same cart in other states for 18 dollars they are a rip off ! Scum bags! The employees are nice other than whoever runs it is a raging c*nt. I'll never go there again. The employees were always nice but the old man needs to retire before he hurts himself. The place is an overpriced shit show! Go elsewhere! ans their flower Is the worst!!!!! read more

I have shopped both centers, the biggest problem, no consistency . I find a product that works and next visit they don't have the product that took me awhile to find ( not to mention money spent to find something that works ) . I do like that finally I can get relief with out taking dangerous drugs with deadly side effects . I do enjoy shopping the Lewis store . Thank you for helping me WC Henry read more

I've been coming here for years, but it's only gotten worse. First off I understand you need to protect your business and employees, but a full scan and patdown are a little extreme. The attitude of the people here is the worse. They treat you like your an inmate or other undesirable. Also, check the mass of your flower. I mostly buy flower and it's always less than what it should be. If I'm buying 3.5 grams, it should weigh 3.5, not 3.3 or 3.4g. When they were the only choice I used them and dealt with the bad attitude, anymore they are only a last resort. They get an extra star for being open on Sunday now, read more

First off I have had a bad experience with the staff there as worker there chose to interrupt me while I was talking to another customer telling me I was violating the "good neighbor" clause in my contract because I was stating that they had a great variety on the screen and it was a welcome change from my past experiences. She decided to a attitude with me and read me the riot act for not being happy and satisfied customer that forgot to check his freedom of speech upon entering. Bad enough you have to go through the humiliation of being everything short of stripped searched to get in the establishment, I think I would recommend shopping elsewhere. I never had a incident prior to this with staff as they have always been friendly, But they rarely have a stock of much a variety and normally I have to settle for what they have. The place makes you feel stigmatized when all I am trying to do is relieve my chronic pain. read more

Be wary buying concentrates here! This dispensary is ripping customers off!!! Recent purchases here have included ice hash (normally 40+ THCA) that was only 19% THCA. Particularly avoid the "Golden Gram" which used to be a bud dipped in hash oil and heavily dusted in kief , normally 72%+ THCA. Two days ago I bought this product and the fine print revealed THCA of 31% and inspection of the product showed a bud dipped in kief with no hash oil. If they've changed the description on the website to be less specific on a product it means the product is inferior and they are intentionally ripping you off. Compassion my ass!!!!! Patients need and depend on consistent medication for serious issues and having to make all of the effort to go there and pay top dollar for inferior product that is dubiously advertised as a once superior item is shameful. Do not shop here if you can possibly avoid it. Corporate greed is firmly at work here - at our expense! Fuck you First State, I take this very personally!!!!!!! read more

This is literally the shittiest dispensary (company, really--Wilmington and Lewes are both trash) I have ever had the displeasure of visiting. I have had my card for almost 2 years and I am absolutely disgusted with how awful the service is, and their policies are backwards as all hell. I've literally never had anything positive to say about either of them in all the time I've had my card. EVER. I purchased a vaporizer cartridge yesterday and the shit didn't work so I called them (mind you, this is the ONLY product you can return) and apparently I can't drop it off and get another one. They have to send it back to "the lab" to "make sure it's defective" as if anyone would lie about that bc it's such an inconvenience, and you have to WAIT FOR THEM TO CONFIRM that there was something wrong with it until you can get a CREDIT for it. You have to buy a new one in the meantime if you still want a cartridge. I'm absolutely FURIOUS. I live in Camden so it's a hike to get to either dispensary, which means I have to make multiple trips and burn through my damn gas all because they suck at what they do. Many of their strains remind me of mid, they sell defective products, their staff (particularly the one who answers the phone... many patients know exactly who I'm talking about) are rude, some of the cashiers don't have their cards so they're recommending or trying to describe the effects of a product they haven't tried themselves, their policies are stupid, and I'm shocked that they're even still running. Once more dispensaries open, or once the Smyrna one which is MUCH better, gets more products in, I hope FSCC gets shut down, bankrupt, or put out of business. At the end of the day? I'm damn near better off buying off the streets! If you have your card don't even waste your time--go to Columbia Care in Smyrna and save yourself the hassle. read more
