Just as others have said, calling and talking with Susan was a great first contact with the business. Unlike many service companies, she is quite familiar with the company and its approach to their work. (I later learned that she had been a customer and eventually started working with them - a truly excellent review in itself.) It turned out that the ends of some of the joists in the crawl space were resting on crumbling 70 year old concrete. The solution was to employ a metal support beam from close to the entrance of the crawl space all the way to the back wall as close to the crumbing side wall as possible to support the leaning joists. Once the work was done, I was surprised to see that nothing seemed to have changed. I was advised to wait a few days and that they would look to come back to make final adjustments in a couple of months. Three days later, the closet door stopped closing by itself. By the end of the week, it stayed put wherever on its path I moved it to. Another week and I could see that the low corner of the range had improved a little. It's been a bit more than a month now and I have gradually lost my fear that the kitchen floor would collapse as I was cooking. The cost was exactly as quoted, although they did more work than they had originally planned to. Just Dry Basement is an excellent, fully professional organization. I suggest that you call them without any hesitation. I can tell you that I have received no remuneration of any kind for writing this positive review and feel sure that no one else has either. They are simply that good!

The estimation process was simple as they asked me to take pictures and included a guide on how to do it. They followed up with a phone call and explained the process to me. They then sent me a DocuSign document (contract) and told me they would be in touch to schedule in a few weeks. When the crew showed up they again explained the process and in just a few hours everything was fixed perfectly and the price was fair. When they were done, they told me that they would need to come back in a week to tighten some bolts because they had to pour some concrete and needs longer to cure. I said OK and just call me when they were coming back. Work finished 3/31/26. 4/8 - I texted the salesperson asking when they would be coming back. I was told that she would reach out. Nothing further. 4/30 - I texted again asking when they would be coming out. I was told to let her message him. Nothing further. 5/11 - I texted again about their return. She said that she would reach out again. 5/25 - At this point I was annoyed and texted her to just forget it. Told them now that they are paid and got their initial positive review that they don't seem to care . That I was disappointed. Doesn't give me hope for their yearly inspections for 5 years to make sure everything is still running well. So, I am taking away a star from my initial review.

As of June 26, 2026, Bill has been giving me date after date for over two months, promising to return and finish restoring my backyard, but the work still hasn't been completed. My yard is left with piles of dirt, uneven ground, and a large section of concrete that still hasn't been patched. Because of this, my kids haven't been able to safely play outside, and I've had to put off hosting family gatherings all summer. The most frustrating part is that the job has already been paid for. The repeated excuse has been that he's "busy," and communication has been inconsistent, my calls and texts are only answered when it's convenient to him. I appreciated the quality of the plumbing repair itself, but customer service and following through on completing the job have been very disappointing. Jose, foreman, did a great job! He was responsible and the crew were timely. Jose even helped me reinstall the dehumidifier to the new sump pump area. They took away all the garbage too! The crew had two large trucks and seemed to have everything down to a science. One truck replaces the other once all the dirt from the basement gets loaded. My job was finished in two days because I needed additional work but this was explained to me and I had agreed to the extra service and charge. Knowing in advance is a good thing! Steve, the owner, came out to meet the me on day one. It was nice of him to come out and meet his client. After having a conversation earlier in the week, I can say Steve is very feisty and passionate about his company.
