This easily earned me as a new customer. I walked in during a busy time and he Got me squared away in less than 20 minutes. Great staff all around but I highly recommend not just the business as a whole, but this gentleman is Owner-operator material. Nothing but good things to say about my experience.

I was not expecting the tire to be in stock, and I was fully prepared to place an order and wait for it to arrive. My only goal was to receive assistance with ordering a single tire. Unfortunately, the customer service I experienced was extremely disappointing. When I entered the store, there were two employees at the front desk, yet neither of them acknowledged or greeted me for several minutes. Eventually, one employee spoke to me and explained that it would still be a long time before they could even ask what I needed. At that point, I was already frustrated because my request was very simple and should not have required a significant amount of time to address. What made the experience even more disappointing was that one of the employees appeared to have no customers to assist, yet repeatedly walked around the store appearing busy and taking phone calls that came in after I had already been waiting. From my perspective, it felt as though I was being intentionally ignored rather than simply experiencing a busy period. I want to emphasize that I was not asking for special treatment. I only wanted to order one tire, and I was willing to pay whatever the cost was and wait however long was necessary for the tire to arrive. I would have been completely understanding if the store was busy or if the tire needed to be ordered. What I found unacceptable was the lack of communication, acknowledgment, and willingness to assist me. This was easily one of the worst customer service experiences I have had. A simple interaction with a customer who was ready to make a purchase should not have been handled this way. Because of this experience, I will be taking my business to Raleigh instead, even though it is less convenient for me. I would rather travel farther to receive basic customer service and assistance than return to a location where I felt completely ignored

This is the "Daniel Boone Shell" located just off I-85 exit 164 (Old NC 86 - Hillsborough) in North…read moreCarolina. Along with 85, there's a sign for this Shell at I-40 exit 261 (Old NC Highway 86 - Hillsborough). From I-40 exit 261, this Shell is about 1.5 miles (three minutes) away. I'm not too familiar with this area (at least not yet). The only reason why I think this Shell is known as the Daniel Boone Shell is because there's a giant statue of Daniel Boone behind it (as well as a Waffle House). After I filled up, I drove to the back specifically to take a picture of the statue. There was a sign underneath the statue that said "The Shops at Daniel Boone." It looked like a ghost town back there. Eerily dead. The time of day (night) didn't help. Anyway, this was your standard Shell station. Eight pumps, all on one side (street side) with the convenience store in the back, near Daniel Boone. This station has service bays, but the service center was closed during my visit. The station was bright and clean, stocked with paper towels and washer fluid, and also well-worn. The gas prices were expensive, but I used the app GetUpside to get 17 cents per gallon back. Use my invite code DANIEL66482 to get an additional 15 cents per gallon back the first time you use the app to save on gas. There's no catch. I don't know how the app developers make money, but it's free money back to people who buy gas at Shell and other participating gas stations like BP and Circle K. "Daniel Boone Shell" is what printed on top of my receipt. The receipt printed out nice and clear. I'd come back, if anything, to see what becomes of the creepy ghost town.

Good enough for gas, it's right off the highway and there is a Wendy's next door. In, out, food,…read moreback on the road!
