It's right at the branch off of 116 so you have to make sure if you park on the far left you tuck your trunk in because they take the slight right fast and don't look. Inside is well maintained. Looked more organized than goodwill or crossing the Jordan. Good selection of records and reasonably priced too. Also was able to find some souvenir spoons for the kids. The attendant who I'm going to assume owns the place was really sweet and he let my girl behind the counter to pet the older dog who was calmly happy to have attention. They have some nice small sets of used china, tea sets, misc glassware and some misc pots/ Corning Ware. A small automotive section. Wait this is a thrift store? They also have some new stuff such as spark plugs at a discount. Don't go in thinking it's Walmart you won't find what you want. Go in to browse you might be surprised what you find.

Basing a low rating on a snippet of conversation you disagreed with seems a bit off-base and more than a little judgemental, no? Especially when you noted the warm greeting and polite exit. Thrift stores are about community and reuse, not ideological purity tests. The Ark is clean, welcoming, and packed with affordable goodies--who cares if the chit-chat behind the counter doesn't match your specific worldview? If we started judging businesses solely on overheard opinions, we'd all be shopping in echo chambers. Props to the polite team; they've earned my repeat business for the deals, not the discourse.

I went here in hopes of finding some gently used furniture for my new home. Most of the couches…read morelooked dirty and stained-- it looked no better than what you'd find at goodwill. I was also hoping to find a nice bathroom vanity but all of them were very dated and had no sink tops. I did see a good amount of hanging lighting (chandeliers & pendant lights), bookshelves and hutches that seemed decent. I would not suggest buying anything with fabric (such as a couch or armchair) here.
