I've come here over the years for all my house paints, curtains, lawn mowers, garden tools and nursery pots and plants. If ever I have needed any help with DIY plans, the friendly staff always are able to give me tips and advice on how to do a great job. I especially love the garden section. The manager in charge is fabulous because if you ask nicely, plants that look a bit tattered can be marked down to $5 or $10. Go home and care for them and in no time the plants are thriving.

The self service checkouts are also fast. The cafe is rather small, and is situated right near the nursery area. Brought a Bryon Bay cookie for only $2.60 here, uber cheap! Highly recommended.

Store deserves serious investment in their website. Currently it is exceptionally disappointing. Pressing need for intelligent, intuitive and accurate "Search" system such as Amazon, Bunnings "Search" is almost useless if you do not know brand names. Store could do with typed product lists hanging at the end of each row. It does have a very good collection of all the basic hardwares you would need, but what makes shopping here different is the level of customer service. The store assistants are probably the owners as well, as that reflects in the quality of service being provided. They are keen to assist and offer help constantly. They may not know everything there is to know about hardware, but they do know their in store products very well and can offer suggestions for alternatives.
