When I arrived for my appointment Denise had not made a note of it so was not expecting me. She glanced at my dresses and after literally 30 seconds refused to take any of them and I thought was very rude. All my items were Boden dresses, bought in the last year or two, some had only been worn a couple of times. They were all in very good condition and most had been dry cleaned since I had worn them. Will NOT be visiting again!

On each piece of furniture there is a QR code to help calculate delivery fees and the service that provides it. Unfortunately I could not use the QR code because there is no Wi-Fi available in the store. I was told it was due to too many people filming influencers, and those taking photos to resell items. When I went outside to see if I could calculate the shipping and delivery cost, with the Q r code, I still wasn't able to do it. And left without furniture. My main reason for going. When I asked for help from other people who worked at the store, unfortunately they just said sorry and that was it. It's a shame. They really did have some really unusual pieces.

CONSIGNERS BEWARE!! I had a similar situation to Patty's…read moreexperience (previous review). I dropped off 3 bins of items on March 11th. Dina went on about how much she loved everything. I had more items but we decided to schedule a later date to drop off for the rest. Both Dina and Nicole seemed really nice and friendly. They told me I'd receive an emailed item list in a little bit. Several weeks went by and still no list so I called. I spoke with Nicole on 3/31 who told me that her mother-in-law (Dina) was supposed to have done it and will get her to do it "now". She also told me at that time that I had made over $100 and again, how much they "LOVED" everything. Weeks go by again and still no item list. Dina then calls on 4/27 to reschedule our next appointment to a later date. I say sure but I'm still waiting for my item list (everything is still amicable at this point). Dina then turns and starts getting hostile. She told me she sent the list already and to check my junk mail, to which I replied I have and it's not there so can you please send it again. She said she did already and fought me on just resending it. I also asked how much money I have in my account at this point thinking it should be more than the $100 I was told in March. She said it's $75. When I ask how that's possible she couldn't give me an answer and got even more angry with me. My response was this is horrible customer service, and again please send my item list. That night I get an email saying they no longer want to consign my items. I tell them I agree, now can you please send my item list. The emails went back and forth for days with them refusing to give my item list. I finally received it on May 2nd! They then tell me I need to pick up my items immediately or they will donate them. This place is a scam. I don't know what it's like to shop there but consigning with them is a NIGHTMARE!!

However in the last couple of years it hasn't been the same. First, the variety of items available seemed to shift a bit. They were great for finding cute seasonal decor that you wouldn't see anywhere else. That was gone. They were great for finding styles you wouldn't find elsewhere, at least not easily. They also carried a wide range of sizes which made it great to shop for anyone. All of that is now gone. They carry the same styles you can find in any store, at higher prices, and only in standard sizes. The other thing is they have a decent sized store front and have never reopened it since Covid first hit! If you want to shop for anything, you have to buy it online without being able to see or try anything on in person. Also, you'd better hope it fits because you only have 7 days from the *purchase* date to return it. Need more than 7 days? Store credit only. It's too bad really. There's nothing similar in the area and they had so much potential, but it's impossible to shop at a location that literally does not allow their customers into their store anymore.

This is a packed-to-the-gills gift shop with a nice selection, everything from kiddie items to women's clothing and jewelry, to the full gamut of the "Home Goods" type of great little things for the home. And even specialty items for men, BUT--they have one rather major flaw: THEY DO NOT GIFT WRAP (!!!) WHAT KIND OF A GIFT SHOP DOESN'T GIFT WRAP FOR YOU? The whole reason for going to a privately-owned gift shop like this, rather than Home Goods, Marshall's, TJ's, or even online, etc, is to get personalized service, and that SHOULD include gift wrapping--at least, for as long as I've been going to gift shops (and that's quite a long time, lol). If I'm going to pay regular retail price, then I expect better--gift wrap and all. Tsk, tsk, Queen Street! You can do better, especially at Christmas! 2. Though she seems to try to contain herself, the lady up front is always a little cranky. Not pleasant. :/
