I have always gone to Thrifty florist in Taylor, for many years.I have always received beautiful creations, by their staff. For some reason, instead of having 3 bouquets ready, there were only 2. Since 2 of them were a special order, because of my request of light blue roses, I was upset and in tears. They were for my Twin Granddaughter's homecoming that day. I want to thank the manager, ( I am sorry, I forgot her name)who worked that day, who came out from the back, immediately,to help. She apologized, and gave me options to help, make things better. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, for understanding, how upset, I was. Thrifty florist, should be proud to have you as their employee. I hope that corporate sees this and rewards you. You created 2 identical bouquets in a matter of minutes. Bless you, for being so understanding, patient, kind and professional. They were so beautiful. My granddaughters loved their bouquets. The Thrifty Florist Shop on Telegraph in Taylor is wonderful. The shop was decorated beautifully for Christmas and they were very helpful adding the extra flowers we wanted on our Dads grave blanket. Will definitely be shopping there for any floral arrangements and gifts we need in the future. read more

Ordered online and paid online for flowers for my girlfriend's birthday. There "system" canceled the order without telling me. They had my number to call or text and they had my email to contact me if needed but they didn't. I call the day they were supposed to deliver and told me that it was canceled. And they didn't do anything to help other that telling me they can deliver it tomorrow. I call again to tell them it won't work and they tell me that I can go and pick it up the day of, 30 minutes from my house right around the time I needed them. The only times I visit a florist is for a funeral. Needless to say it's never a pleasant visit. When you're purchasing flowers for such an event the last thing you need is a hassle or to spend an arm and a leg. That's why I must say I had a successful outcome back in June with Thrifty florist. My flowers were gorgeous and exactly what I wanted. They looked even more flawless in person than in photos. Also I ordered customized and the finished product exceeded my expectations. I'll continue to shop here whenever I need to. The prices are really fair and the flowers turned out stunning. Side note, I will agree with some of the other reviewers on customer service, it could be better but all in all it didn't deter my 5 star rating. read more

They used yellow daisies instead of yellow and red carnations. I ordered the flowers over the phone using the online code for that arrangement, and should have been told they don't have carnations and asked if daisies are ok. The flowers we received were not what I picked, and the overall color was much more yellow than the online picture. read more

I have been going to this florist with my daughter, for 8-10 years They are always courteous.niceand helpful. I went in to get flowers for my daughter, and was ignored and treated as if I wasn't there. My neighbor was with me and was shocked by the way they treated me and spoke to me.There was 2 workers and I needed help.They told me they were too busy. When I finally got help she was rude and treated me bad. I will never shop with them again. I called yesterday morning at about 10:00 am, Valentines Day no less and ordered flowers to be delivered to a local business the same day. I called about 4:30 because the business was closed and needed to re-direct the order. Mary was awesome!!! Very kind, sweet as can be I kept saying sorry die to the holiday and I knew she was exhausted, but she was a total doll!!! I got an email a few hours later and the person received the flowers and they were gorgeous!!!! Terrible customer service. No greeting when you walk in and nobody willing to offer customers any help. Listening to the cashier was so uncomfortable. She treated the gentleman in front of me like nothing more than an inconvenience. He should have walked out but unfortunately, he's still dealing with their rude customer service after 20 minutes. The funeral arrangement I ordered was awful. I specifically asked "what if the Lily's aren't bloomed?" And was told they would be. They weren't even close and it made the arrangement look like crap. I also asked about the roses and carnations around them that looked to be about 50/50 mix but when it arrived there was barely a rose in it. Not to mention it was about half the size that the picture in the catalog made it look. I will never order anything from there again. read more

The girl working allowed me to get two $5 bouquets that she opened up and took her time nicely re-wrapping into one large bouquet and still only charged $10. I ordered a funeral arrangement online on October 26, and specified the "Deluxe" upgrade. When I visited the funeral home and saw the arrangement, I was so disappointed. If that was the "Deluxe" upgrade, I would have been absolutely embarrassed had I ordered the "As Shown" version on their website. For $78.38, which included delivery, this was an absolute waste of money. I immediately contacted Customer Service via email, but they have not responded. I am not sure if owners changed at this location or what. I went there today to order 2 corsages for my daughter. Needless to say, my daughter was given only 3 colors to choose from, red, pink or white. No other options regardless the color of her dress. It was never like this in the past. I ended up only ordering one and told them I will go somewhere else to get the other one. My daughter was set on orange. Throughout the store there are signs that say cash only. In the past, I never had to pay upfront. Today I had to in cash. I thought it was a bit odd but still went ahead. We went to Blossoms in AP. OMG the choices and the customer service they offer was outstanding. My daughter ended up ordering both from there. I went back to Thirfty Florist not even 3 hours later to cancel my order and get my cash money back. I was told I had to come back the next day when the owner was there. I work during the day. I was off today. I told the girl I paid in cash today, I want to cancel and get my cash back. Nope, not going to happen. Yet when they took my 'cash' the owner was not there. Yet he has to be there to give it back to me? Really? I have to make another trip up there? My time and my gas so it is convenient for the owner? What kind of service is that? No wonder they insist on cash only. Had I used my card, I would have cancelled the transaction. I am sure when I go back tomorrow, I will get the run around once again. I am very upset. Please be careful when spending your money there. I highly recommend Blossoms. That is my new go to place from now. read more
