This place is actually a joke…read more Tucked away deep in an industrial park, the delusional owners of this place try to lure antique dealers into renting space from them. My name is James West, and last year I made the mistake of joining them by renting a whole room for my antique business. Sadly The building and business were damaged by hurricane flooding, and instead of paying for proper renovations, the owners expected tenants to do the work for free--ripping out drywall, replacing carpet, painting, and more. If you're just looking to shop, fine--go ahead. But if you're thinking of renting space to sell your goods, do yourself a favor and stay far away. These people bring chaos with them wherever they go.

UPDATE: I was recently in the area and decided to give this place another try. There was a nice…read morelamp in the window, so I asked to see it. The top where the wire comes out of the base was very wobbly and the shade could not sit square because the harp was on the wobbly bit. So, I looked online and it looked like I'd be able to fix it with parts from Home Depot or even Amazon. Maybe $15 or so. So I explained and asked if they take a little less for the lamp since I'd have to fix it for it to be usable. The woman on the desk called someone else. They went into the window and had a discussion. Came out, still no decision, had to make a call. Five minutes later the answer was "NO, if it's in the window we won't discount". Meanwhile, I was looking around as I waited. There was a single small martini glass priced at $6.50. It was a good quality glass but I've never seen a thrift store martini glass ( I collect them) priced so high unless it was etched crystal like Waterford. On the same table was an interesting looking vase from Germany with chips along the rim. $29! Idk. There was a polyester sleeveless top for $12 that couldn't have been more than $15 brand new. They must have someone who looks up stuff on EBay and other sites to see what people are asking for things in perfect condition or something. But, thrift stores run on donations. This one is way over priced. The staff are not friendly. The only I'd say has improved is the quality of the furniture. I really wanted to be able to upgrade my previous review because I don't like to give a bad review without checking back , but this place is just about the worst thrift store in the area. Unless you are a member of this church I'd say go elsewhere to spend your money.

I love her to death. On the other side, I have come to the conclusion that I have neither talent nor patience for thrift shopping. Suncoast Hospice store is clean and well organized. There are enough spaces between sections for guests to shop without feeling cramped. During my visit, I saw most ladies spend their time at clothing section. Many of them ended up loading pile of clothing on the cart. Price must be good. I was hoping to find a vintage bag to restore and resell on Poshmart. But I was disappointed after walking through the purse and luggage section because of its marked up price. A unbranded leather wallet in its final life span cost 5 dollars.
