I feel like St. Vincent De Paul Thrift Stores have been around forever, but then again so has the Catholic Church. :)) This particular store is conveniently located right off Route 19 and next to the Coachman Carwash. I always find their store to be clean and organized. At this particular visit, they were having a 50% off all furniture. The store was buzzing. I love checking out their book area. On this trip I found a great spiritual book for only fifty four cents! I've been wanting to read this particular book for some time now and retails for $20. Pressed for time, I didn't browse the clothing area, but in the past I have been able to find some real treasures, even some never worn! This particular St. Vincent De Paul Thrift Store is definitely one to visit.

Well organized! Great prices. Great service. Should you buy any furniture, they'll help you move the items into your car.

They recently re arranged the store and had plenty of items for sale. I usually always find a prize of some kind.

When I thrift, I usually buy cds and dvds. Prices for those are $1.00, which is really fair. Old record albums are also $1.00, which is good for record collectors since records are becoming more popular again. On Fridays, the books are all half price, but they are very inexpensive anyway. Regular book prices are 75 cents for hardcover, and 50 cents for paperbacks and children's books. Clothing is half off every Saturday. There are fitting rooms to try on clothing. I believe the orange circle on a piece of clothing means that it is the lowest price to pay. They have the other usual thrift store items: shoes, dishes, sheets, towels, hardware, jewelry, figurines, prints and paintings, suitcases, and children's toys. They had a variety of video games in a glass counter in the middle of the store. The staff is friendly and helpful. I enjoy going there to shop, and I recommend the store to others.

The staff was very helpful and friendly, there were several young teen men in there working and helping, it was refreshing to see kids working hard for charity. They said they give 100% profit to their community which houses low income and I saw many senior citizens. I will say that some of the items were a tad pricey and I opted not to purchase them, but also knowing that 100% profit is truly helping other people made my purchase a happier one. They have sales everyday too. Great thrift store!

One thing negative was we were interested in a grill grate cleaner behind the counter and asked the clerk if we could see it. She was not happy because she had to bend down and get it. We noticed there was no price and asked how much. She said she had no idea and was not allowed to price items and did not know where the person was that could. Had to leave the grill gate cleaner behind

I love her to death. On the other side, I have come to the conclusion that I have neither talent nor patience for thrift shopping. Suncoast Hospice store is clean and well organized. There are enough spaces between sections for guests to shop without feeling cramped. During my visit, I saw most ladies spend their time at clothing section. Many of them ended up loading pile of clothing on the cart. Price must be good. I was hoping to find a vintage bag to restore and resell on Poshmart. But I was disappointed after walking through the purse and luggage section because of its marked up price. A unbranded leather wallet in its final life span cost 5 dollars. My remaining hope faded quickly after browsing through its jewelry section. The price was high. My neighbor lady thrift shopping for fun. I thrift shopping for bargain. I quit. Market is efficient.
