He left town & let one of his employees fix it. I saw the actual cost of the part on a receipt stapled to my invoice & he'd overcharged me by more than $100! The car wasn't even fixed! I complained & he said he'd get it fixed, that I'd spent enough already (damn right! Overcharged!). Then, after 2 long weeks (now I hadn't had my car for 3 weeks total!), he called me to say he had it fixed & wasn't going to charge me for labor, just the part... Wait a minute- WHAT?! You said I didn't have to pay anymore money! I'm out $500 & my car still has the same problem! Do yourself (& your pocketbook) a favor- find someone else, or work on it yourself!!!

Regardless of how fast these people can change a tire, it'll may still take a bit for them to drive out to you. We were 20 minutes out of Waco and it took about 35-40 minutes for our person to show up. I'm not sure how many people actually work here since the person who took my call was also the person to come change our tire. I ended up having to ping him my location since I was having difficulty figuring out where exactly on the highway we were. He worked quickly, was knowledgeable about the situation, and was very friendly the entire time. When we were billed, he said he was an independent contractor so he negotiated the price with us. The total ended up being $75, which I think is pretty reasonable considering how quickly he worked and how much less expensive this was than calling a tow truck.

Instead of being helpful, the owner was combative and rude; he even went so far as to insinuate my husband was lying about the fact the car was doing the exact same thing just minutes after driving away. Unfortunately, we picked it up after hours on a Friday afternoon, so he contacted the shop first thing the following Monday morning to let them know it wasn't fixed. They had us bring it back in, but wanted more money to then fix a different part. That is when my husband wanted to talk to the owner about why they fixed the other part in the first place and why they were charging so much more. Due to the owner's attitude and combativeness, we were reluctant to leave our car there any longer and just picked it up. We asked for the part that had been replaced because my husband wondered if it was really bad or they just fixed the wrong thing. Conveniently, they didn't have the part to give us.
