I was told the guys at Auto Zone would put it in for me. As it turns out, my specific car is one they aren't able to replace the bulb for--liability reasons. Totally understandable. So, as the employee is stunned that I don't know ANYONE in town to install it for me, a fellow customer walks up. He asks what I need--and says that he can replace it for me quick and easy. Really?? are you sure!!?? So, he goes to his truck, pulls out his tools, and proceeds to change my light for me. My faith in Wacoans is instantly renewed. After much begging, he let's me buy him a tea from inside as thanks... He then says "it was no big deal. I own an auto repair shop nearby." So, naturally, I ask for his contact info....I am so so impressed with his kindness and if when I need ANYTHING for my car, Charles will be the first one I contact. You can tell his heart is in the right place. So, even though it was by no means a huge repair.... he did it well, put everything back where it goes, and really helped me out. Go see Charles!!! :)

These guys went out of their way to help us in a really bad situation and they charged us the minimum. We were desperate to get back to Austin and they could've taken advantage of that, but they were so kind and fair with their pricing. The person who seemed to be in charge of the shop was very friendly and genuine.

Then when they failed, couldn't set the timing on the vehicle, they just start supposedly changing parts and doing work that has not been discussed. You are supposed to reach out, communicate, and get approval or denied. They had approval to do specific work that totaled $2500, but did silly things without permission as changed out the spark plugs. Really?! And some sensors! They were supposed to do the water pump and timing chain. Then, when they didn't know how to set the timing and ran the bill up to $3300, they want me to let them change the motor out for an additional $8000. When I said no, they tried to convince me how good that they were and that they had done over $4000 in work. I think they wanted me to bow to them and thank them and their greatness. Don't go. Hook and hold em scheme. It started as a water pump service. End as a broke disaster.

This is a very belated review as my daughter graduated Baylor University last year!…read more It's difficult in many ways to send your daughter out of state to school, but it is especially difficult when you send her in an old truck with more than 200,000 miles (at the time). I set out to search for a mechanic on Yelp and Anglie's List. Then I started calling them. When I talked with Fred, I knew I found the right repair shop. Fred and his team looked after her safety during her years in Waco. There was regular maintenance and some significant repairs, and Fred came through ever time. His estimates were accurate, the repairs were competently done, and I learned I to trust him and his judgement. I spoke with Fred several times over the years but I've never got to thank him personally. The truck made it home now after several thousand mile journeys and I have seen the evidence of Fred's good handy work.

The suspension is higher on the driver side, and the grease nipple has been digging into my tire, causing me to purchase and replace more tires than ive had in my whole 29 years of living!! And today, they're screw up cause me too wreck when my tire busted, thank God my kids were not in the car and i was not going that fast. Thats not it! They left a bungee strap IN the engine of my car, that looks as if it is supporting the arm of my suspension. Never go here. We dropped out car off on June 18th and got it back June 19th. They rushed my vehicle and didnt do anything right just enough to get me by to try to get me past the 90 day warranty too keep my money when they didnt do jack shit but pretty much ruin my vehicle. Id recomend a monkey with a wrench before this shop. Obviously you got people who have no knowledge of vehicles working here. The suspension looks like Bugs Bunny did it. 0 out of 100. VERY DISSATISFIED. If you go here. Have an injury lawyer on hand. Already contacting lawyers, they put my whole families life at risk, and took off with my hard earned money. I will make sure this shop never works on another vehicle again.

I once needed an oil change, and had hit the bottom of my car on a large rock, cracking the metal housing of the oil filter. He showed this to me, and at that point said that there was no need for repair immediately, but to begin saving for about $400 in parts and labor. Sure enough, some 8 months one time I brought it in for an oil change and the crack had grown enough to no longer keep the oil filter contained, so he fixed it when it needed to be fixed. Both times he showed me the issue and explained it to me. He will go out of his way to work with single parents on fixed income etc.

I dropped my car off around 10am, they called me an uber to school, and by 1:30 I received a text with a detailed evaluation of my vehicle and an itemized list of recommended repairs/maintenance.
